Fink I'm Fic?
Yes of course,
you aint just thick you're reinforced!!
there's thick that's thick and then there's yours,
you're so thick you brake records!!
they all say you're one dumb one
you know it too but you plough through,
not how dumb though you're too dumb too,
they say you've given the dumb free-dumb free,
fore dumb you are, for dumb you'll be,
however long you are alive,
dumb will live and dumb will thrive.
so yes again I fink ur fic,
and separately fink ur a prick,
ur personality makes me sick,
you could be nice and still be thick.
I'd tell you now to learn to spell,
but I know your brain don't work too well,
you could be nice with brain fail,
but you're not so go to hell.
There's no armour for karma,
hurt her it harms ya,
playing between two
then karma gets you,
make a mug of a mate as well
all 3 see you fail.
so long mothermuffer farewell
fink i'm fic
yes you prick,
living on steroids
always annoyed
doing my head in
now you're inside
your life is destroyed,
but say thank you shall I
for the party supply
all 3 of us hate you
and hope you die,
so long mothermuffer goodbye
Tear-drops kisses skin scale

Passed through a Dreiser, Farrell, Malamud, Baldwin

I am great at dropping names, aren't I ?
I've read a lot of poetry and have published a number of chapbooks
Once I had 13 poems in a civil rights magazine
Then I passe through a Tolkien period
and published fan - fic
and Tolkienesque poetry
After that I returned to Planet earth
and read "The Rise of David Levinsky" and other novels about the Lower East Side
I sometimes attend a New Age shul
WHERE THEY READ A POEM AT EVERY SERVICE.
poetry won't pay the bills
but it is a good way to socialize
And it often speaks to the heart
It's not everyone's cup of tea
Speaking of that
the Kettle is boiling and
I'll soon have another cup
and read the Book Review section
I had two odes published in the New York Times
last year
Boasting can be fun!
Especially if you are not wealthy
like the majority of the world's poets
and chess players

Baby.
You are so simple. September. You can fit in my tiny hands.
Green and yellow decorate. White streaks. Tiny bugs.
You are a child like myself, but one day you will grow and die.
And I will forever be here, nothing but a child.
You are humble, and quite. Tough. Thick skin on the infant.
Many mistake you for ugly. I know you are joyful, my pumpkin.
Pumpkin Patch.
First grade.
October.
Cold. Crisp. Clear.
Vivid. Orange, ocher yellow. Dirty dirt as far as the eye can see.
Purple blue and grey stain the skies with awkward mountains.
Plump, pure. This is a right of passage. An awakening of autumn.
Dry brittle and broken the hay lays flat.
Jackolantern.
Black dark through the window. This is night.
Laughing with knifes. One two three four. Yellow and red spots so small make this orange.
Draw. This is easy. This is fun. I am young.
Pale innards cover the kitchen. Cover our hands. This is family.
Black triangles. Ridged teeth. Fic the bic and there’s the light.
It is late. The dead dog whines. Those trees sway.
Dream of funny faces and sweet pie. Hot wax drips onto the porch.
