Tolkienesque

The master's hand
      created work 
which has inspired 
    many to create 
Fan fic, poetry 
   analysis 
   all stemming from 
the writing     
               of one man 
  I hope the flow 
of imagination continues!
    To all the fans, writers and critics 
    who have been blessed 
by reading
                The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and
the many other works which 
                followed 
              I wish you peace
and joy 
   We've all seen 
   the Shire, Lothlorien 
    and watch elven folk as they 
sang under the stars
As the twilight people say :Namarie

Andrea Dietrich February 20, 2011 at 11:13 PM Matt, it was years ago that I read the trilogy of Lord of the Rings, but I remember being completely engrossed in it. Those days are long past. the most I read today are the poems at Soup and my weekly tv guide.haha. Oh, and of course my student's papers.
