Out at Night Too Late
By Elton Camp
I sure was foolish to have stayed out so late
Driving alone at night is something I so hate
But it was well after midnight before I knew
So to my car in the dark parking lot I flew
I was sort of relieved to see it was still there
Because to lock the doors I hadn’t taken care
It was worse when I reached the edge of town
Because I could see only darkness all around
A monster more horrible than I could dream
Might lurk just beyond my headlight beam
If my car should break down, I’d be in a mess
And a feeling of great unease I had to confess
Then from the back seat came a rustling sound
I was much too frightened to turn & look around
In the rear view mirror, I saw an evil face arise
A knife in his hand and insane anger in his eyes
And then I heard a voice very close to my ear
“Get up, son, you’ll be late to school, I fear.”
What a relief to find it nothing but a nightmare
I’d sure hate to have been on the road out there
IN LOVE WITH LOVING YOU
Out of the dark, you'll hear my whistling,
this night bird searching out the heart of you,
who knows the song is you, and meant to sing,
and I, who feel your words, forever do.
In love am I, with all you'll ever be,
though you don't even count me as a friend,
I come and go, throughout your life, 'tis me,
you'll only know as steady, to your end.
This night bird knows the deep inside your breast,
your secrets never shared with anyone,
each tiny pain, you've thought to be a test,
each answer from each question--Life goes on.
Out of the dark, you'll feel me spread my wings,
In love with loving you, and what it brings.

under the weeping willow i site in peace
watching mystic creatures play
as night fall's i feel at ease
looking up at the stars i see beauty
as night imbrases me i feel comfort
the light cool breez of air passes me
as the sounds of the night fill my ears i fall asleep
the moon as my light and gardian
I take a drink and let my body die look around hear the people cry I wait till night to take a
bite before I see the light I will never go outside till night I am the creature of night, I will
never die unless I see light I will never go outside till night I am the creature of night I will
never grow old I am always cold take one look and you will know I am the creature of
night, Turn your head and I will take a bite my fangs are sharp but they feel nice my eyes
will hypnotize cause I am the creature of night, I hunger for your blood I hunger for your
blood I am not looking for love I just hunger for your nice warm red blood let me taste
your blood let me feel the warm flesh on your neck, With one bite you are mine with one
bite you are hypnotized cause I am the creature of night.
On a night in October when the full moon beams
Marsh noises resonate, all is not what it seems
The wind rustles the reeds with a haunting chilling sound
As the awakening dead arise from their dormant cold grounds
Black silhouette's are seen against a backdrop of cobalt blue
The living now need to run, to escape this deathly pursue
Carrying scythes and sickles, they lacerate all breathing souls
To re-enforce their army, the living are their goals
Screams and cries are heard, the unlucky in deadened red
Whilst the fortunate survive, for a long night lies ahead
A new dawn arrives, no longer scything sounds are heard
As we step into the daylight, to take in what's occurred
If you were caught in their open, your breathing no longer reigns
More of the living perish, whilst his dormant armies gain
In the village where I stay, we run and hide underground
How ironic is it, it's where the living can't be found

Good night moon,
Good night stars;
Good night Jupiter,
Saturn, and Mars;
Good night to,
The one I love;
And good night to,
The ones above;
As I sleep,
Watch over me;
Fill my dreams,
With hope and glee;
Guard my loved ones,
Wish them well;
And force their,
Nightmares to dispel;
Good night moon,
So full and blue;
Keep me safe till,
The day is new.
Taunting and beautiful, I see you ahead,
Ethereal glow inspiring me;
Beautiful Goddess up in the sky,
I know that you are far away
Ethereal glow inspiring me;
Night after night I call out to you,
I know that you are far away,
Why do you not answer my plea?
Night after night I call out to you.
Beautiful Goddess up in the sky,
Why do you not answer my plea?
Taunting and beautiful, I see you ahead.

THE BELLY DANCER
The sparkling dazzle of those chandeliers , -
Transformed the night into an endless day !
And underneath its ignited glow ,
The belly dancer's hips moved to-and-fro !
With her semi-veiled face and mesmerizing eyes ,
And the rhythmic quiver of those half-coverd breasts ;
Her belly button a vortex of tantalizing desire ,
Hypnotized all those welcomed guests !
The Oriental music raced their blood ,
And ignited the night with the heat of desire !
Who knows , before this night comes to an end , -
They all may be consumed in that eternal fire !

On a night in November with a full moon sky
There is a graveyard in the Highlands where spirits fly
Scriptures of old are chanted by the past
As they rise through the earth as the red ones are cast
Gravestones levitate with precision and ease
As dark angels in black glide through the trees
To a stone they surround as they circle above
Slowly they transform into an ebony dark dove
Upon this stone it perches as it awaits the await
For when the red butterflies fly, the light they desecrate
The sky turns from night into a reddy dawn
As the moon hits their red their spirits now flown
They land where they land, guided by the dark dove
Their quest is to capture and lure life's love
In the village near the graveyard on this November night
A population in fear, in fright of their light
Before the sun rises souls are drawn as if sprites
No care for the living, their presence leaves blight
A new day starts as if the previous night never happened
For when the red butterflies fly, come this November night
You may be summoned
The moon won’t rise.
Unless lady gravity is holding her
Moonflower that’s still, shining bright.
Silver steps silver gown.
Spiraling up to the stars above the ground.
A heart she really cares.
Every night she illumes our light everywhere.
She does not mind time after time.
Walking countless steps so we can have nightlight.
Be grateful of our lady of light of the night.
With out her we would be blind at night time.
From the murky skies...filled with a legion of clouds,
A brave haze descends upon the bastion of granite.
A deafening thud...shakes the fortress,
Alarming and instilling fear over the populace.
The city of stone...awakened...confronted...
The halls...blackened by the absence of torches.
Massive gusts...blustered the flames,
Dispersed echoes...scattered down the corridors,
As the ground quivered from the flap of wings.
A pallid moon illuminates doom,
An enormous silhouette...breathes a heavily rancid breath.
A late night attack from a winged serpent,
Intensifies the threat and terror...outlining defeat!
The royal armies defeat their battles,
But this is a battle that won’t be conquered.
The legends of yore...of gigantic beasts has come to pass.
And without inflicting harm...the silver serpent,
Leapt quietly...back into the night sky from which it came.
Leaving behind the horrific yet wonderful memory,
Of it’s mythic yet colossal presence...retold from the days of yore.
Of the curious eyes...from a stonily beast,
That stopped to see what shined...from the sky.
The darkness of night it beckons me, it taunts me in my
dreams with memories of yesterday, and thoughts
of what could have been.
The darkness of night it beckons me, around shadowless
corners it lurks. The eyes of it they
watch me, they track my every move.
The darkness of night it beckons me, to follow moonlit
shadows tonight, to the tomb of the blood stained
vampire of love into the darkest time of night.
The darkness of night it beckons me, to watch as the
warm red syrup flows, as a rippled river of life
along lost roads of old.
The darkness of night it beckons me, as vampires gather
to drink. Sustenance of life is what they seek from the
river that flows tonight.
The darkness of night it beckons me, to watch as the
stories of old unite, to begin the rituals of strength and
power as their fantasies take flight.

The moon kissed the sun goodnight
And the stars walked shinning bright
The night a pleasant silence brings
An occasional flutter of angels wings
Showers of stardust fall from way above
For someone's heart, for someone's love
For a soul who uttered a prayer
To be granted because they care
And in the night when rainbows hide
The Fairies fly and Pixies stride
Gnomes and Elves work hill and glade
In natures name the hour is played
Soil is tilled and seed is planted
Burst of colour for morning granted
Tiny lanterns that sway the night
We take as Fireflies with our sight
While we gently dream in sleep
Flora's workers a promise keep
Bring the dawn and fill our eyes
All of colour and deep blue skies
Gaunt and white
Ashen to dead
The night awakens
For the living dread
A full moon high
Induces their want
Blood of the live
Their silent haunt
Maiden or man
In peaceful sleep
Blooded rewards they crave
In their nighttime reap
An open window
On a moonlit night
As a darkened angel
In quiet flight
A mist drifts
As she appears
A silent victim
In unknown fear
Her neck omitting
A scent of feed
As this vampired dark angel
In wanting need
Slowly she encroaches
As her victim stirs
Revealing more flesh
This vampire's spur
Mouth agape
Her intention set
The need of her
In blood lust wet
Punctured skin
As her teeth sink
The draining of life
In darkened drink
The mist reappears
As the night folds
This vampire's victim
Left in ashen cold

When Heidi Klum
Only the secrets of nights enveloping
Could hear the whisper
Heavy breath gasping
Heady whimper murmuring
The lover’s touch
A purring black panther
Set all at once to devour her
In tender mouthfuls
Of the Teutonic fruit
The flush of blond
And flare pink-rimmed nostrils
Heidi’s lips shivered
On sensual words uttered
Had she ever known such a brute of tenderness
Such dexterous intonations
Of his finger tips
Fire by a language inscribed on his tongue
She softly moaned…….
“C.h.r.i.s…s…s”.
And coil un-twine to the heat of flesh
She tore the night from sleeping swans
And ragged by her arching back
To a lover of such brute tenderness
She scavenged each caress
In a German poem that made the night blush
For surrender
While the ceaseless wave took her
On the dark velvet of his skin
The beauty she was; held forever
In the press embrace of his moonlit shoulders
Such a lover she had never known
A purring black panther devours
When Heidi Klum
