Santa Muerte, Godmother of Families

Santa Muerte, Godmother of Families

Godmother of Families, oh Sacred Madrina

Bless all families that they belong to the holies

Protect them from harm, our Great Valedora

Bless all families who strive to survive

Do not abandon them, our Dear Protectora

Protect our families who do good to be alive

Our families who believe you, our Grand Patrona.

Amen.

Prayer For Families

Oh Father God, we pray for all families

That they live in prosperity, love & peace

Oh Lord Jesus, we pray for every family

That they survive every hardship & calamity

Oh Holy Spirit, we pray for society's basic unit

That their happiness & harmony may have no limit

This we pray to our One True God. Amen.

Premium Member Two Families

In our first family, we all grow up.
Sometimes, a heavy price is paid,
Maybe, somebody doesn't show up,
but, in this family we're partly made.
Then one day, when we find a mate,
it's our chance to fashion something new,
and so, we hope, then, to create
a family with love that's true.
From the first, we take love we retain,
as in the second, we try again.

Families

Surely your turning
of things upside down
is not but the potter’s clay.
You’ve done it with every
damn thing in this world
from the start till the present day.

I guess it’s impressive,
that which you’ve done -
blinding the world with your sham.
Making it look like you care for us all,
but the truth is you don’t give a damn.

Like the snakes that you are,
you creep in the night,
slithering into seats for to stay.
Then the families who actually
care for the folks,
you label and put them away.

But shall the thing framed
say of he has framed it,
“he doesn’t have understanding”?
Your disrespect wreaks
through your pathetic smile,
but time is an interesting thing.

For there’s only so much of it
left till your through!
Then the King will come back for what’s his.
Then those families will be
right there back in the streets
handling all of his biz…

Premium Member An Ode To Moe, My Daughter's Stepfather

My daughter is an angel,
For her I rarely fear,
For I am always reassured by the promises I hear,
That she is in God's hands,
And in God she always stands,
But sometimes when I doubt,
And I cannot see her safe,
I think to my man Moe,
And I know she's good to go!!!

An angel is born

An angel is born,
reuniting families once torn, they race
atmosphere smiles, joy fills every space
a new chapter unfolds, a healing trace
vocation grows, an everlasting chase
love sprouting, life's bonds laced
together they celebrate a healing trace,
a new chapter unfolded, of angel's arrival
of a baby born, as December unveils.

Families

Families are complex,
For the ties that somehow bind us
Are the ones that go way back
To all the years that are behind us.

If it’s nature or it’s nurture,
Once to others we’ve connected,
All our lives we’re stuck together,
Or at least that’s what’s expected.

So we celebrate our big events
And join together, sharing
Bonds reminding us that for these times
We’ve always been preparing.

Premium Member no surprise to their families

they once had fire that was combustible
it was difficult to not feel their heat
their families knew their passion before they did
like two cats facing off, sparing away their tension

next door neighbors, they never expected to date
best friends, they never thought of each other in a sensual way
until college happened, and they were separated
upon their return, things happened quickly,

no surprise to either family,
they had seen it coming for years

THROUGH THE LIFE

Through the life, I gift to you my genuinity.
I shall always be there with complete honesty.
My sparkling eyes and sturdy hands shall always extend reliability.
Even when not in vision always have faith upon my authenticity.
May the world say so, you never doubt my credibility.
So is the faith displayed by your mince pies.
Purest verisimilitude exists ever to keep togetherness entwined.
For, some ties travel through the stars and the sky!!

No Two Families

No two families are alike
So we can’t really know
What happens in a household
Underneath the parts that show.

The habits, values and routines
Which parents first control
Aren’t visible to those outside,
Though normalcy’s the goal.

When children grow and leave the house
And heed their inner voice,
The power to reject or stick
With customs is their choice.

What I find most intriguing
Is how those from one abode
Can, as grown-ups, lead such different lives
From those their folks bestowed.

Families

love is completely all loving
it's gentle it's rare
love is in relationships
and can be
intimate in bed
people can be loved
just like friends
genuine love too
the love between
genuine friends
can be true
the love between
friends is so genuine
and true families
have a big part
in loving too
the love with
families is within
the heart it
has a special bond
that can never
be torn apart
families are important
above all else
there all the
time when you need
them most

Families Are Heroes Too

FAMILIES ARE HEROES TOO

Families are Heroes too
They hold the candle for you
With strength and honor
They make it through

Children missing mom's and dad's
They wait in faith to be glad
Watching the door for
their surprise
With joy and excitement
 they wipe their eyes

Phone calls and letters
 in patience they wait
Hoping that their
families won't be late
Days and months
will surely pass
We pray this war
will soon be past

Guardian angels
watching over them
When times get hard
the light grows dim
Weeping may endure for the night
But joy will come at daylight

The Lord you sees all the
 children down on their knees
Every night in prayer he
listens and sees
They pray" Lord keep my mommy
and daddy safe Please bring them
home for your name sake" Amen"

Soon again their families will meet
With open arms they wait to greet
Welcome Home  Mom or Dad
You are here and we are glad

Premium Member Our Truth

Old words scribed on leaning stones
Where Scripture begs my heart to stay
Leave no impress upon my bones.
While fresh bright flowers fade away
Families die or move away,
Though grass is faithful not to stray
O’er entombed souls of yesterday
Who left God’s engraved words to stay.
Only numbers pluck my heart strings
Which John 3:16 testament promise brings.
