Enunciate Poems

Loud quiet

I am wildly conscious of the fact
I don’t know how to speak up anymore.
I feel like I’m yelling and no one can
Hear me
I was told to shut up, then told to
Speak up
I enunciate so much, maybe it’ll be enough.

I’ll repeat myself like I can’t hear the voices of those
Who convinced me
I was always going to be too much.

I can hear every sentence at once
I can see them behind you
I can feel every breath, a condensation down my throat
A condemnation of a pond and I am the boat.
I promise I’m trying, opening my mouth
There’s air coming out, but I can’t hear anything
Over the people fighting over the volume of my voice
Strike a cord with my cords,
I didn’t think they needed tuning.

I’ll repeat myself like I can’t hear their voices
and if I speak in lowercase, maybe they’ll think
I’m less than too much.

I swallowed the Little Book of Calm
to become a soothsayer,
a seeker, a crier, a prophet for peace and solemnity.
For only then could I calm and relieve my troubled black book soul
torn by regret, envy, greed and jealousy.
Once digested it imbued my inner being
to emulate and enunciate
the well pond of calm within and without.
It quelled the quiver, quake, swell, ratter and roll
of a troubled world, both inside and out,
to be still, quietly moored, satiated in peace.

Premium MemberWords on the Wing

Words like butterflies take wings,
As we open our mouths to sing.
Voices soft or loud and clear,
Sharing thoughts for all to hear.

Choose your words with gentle care,
Like picking flowers sweet and fair.
Speak with kindness, truth, and grace,
Light-up smiles on every face.

Take a breath before you start,
Let the words flow from your heart.
Enunciate each syllable,
Make your meaning knowable.

Listen first, then have your say,
Take turns in a friendly way.
Pitch your voice to soothe the ear,
Neither shouty nor unclear.

Paint pictures with your phrases bright,
Bringing stories to light.
Ask questions, seek to understand,
Building bridges across the land.

Speaking is a wondrous art,
Connecting mind to mind and heart to heart.
So raise your voice and play your part,
Let your words make a brand new start.

Geology, the science of the earth,
elucidates the intricacies of
creation of continents and opening of oceans,
explores the complex framework
of the multilayered deep interior,
and unravels the enigmatic structure
of the mighty mountains,
deciphers from the fossils,
the evolutionary trends of life.
The arcane aspects of earth’s ancient architecture,
imprinted in the petrified rock strata,
enunciate the 4.5 billion year history of the planet.

My expertise as a geologist
lies in the study of rock structures,
that ascertain the deformation pattern,
consequential to the interplay of tectonic forces,
drifting the evolving continents,
forming the changing montage of mountain chains,
like the old Caledonia and the young Himalaya,
and creating earthquake-causing seismic faults,
like in the Saint Andreas and in the Anatolia.

A piece of rock is not just
a chunk of ordinary stale stone to me,
the lattice of the entwined minerals
enumerates the lyrical anecdote
of the eventful eons of the earth,
motivates me with poetic passion,
as I unfold the mysteries of the blue planet.

Premium MemberVultures Circling

They soon circle around a death;
rapidly after the last breath.
While the body is yet still warm,
they come, with haste, the greedy swarm.
Siblings, children, lost cousins, friends
all picking through the odds and ends.
Some wailing of a promise made
or claiming for a debt unpaid.
Who gets the house, the watch of gold?
"Much more," they say, "So we've been told."
"Secret accounts; a home abroad
The jewels left by old aunt Maude,
a diamond ring, a fancy car,
also, that etching by Renoir".
And then, the words that make all swoon:
At some time in the afternoon
executors enunciate
"There's naught left in this estate
all given to a home for dogs
a while before he popped his clogs".

Ict-English Tandem

By George P. Lumayag
https://georgelumayag.weebly.com/

Users learn English grammar when ICT is used.
Microsoft Word can check the misspelled words,
It even reminds the users' choppy words,
Google Doc can detect the wrong structure of words,
And Grammarly.com can recommend suitable words.

Writer's original composition can be justified when Turnitin is used.
They can not publish their journals if such papers violate the rule.

The online creation tools offer young minds become prolific writers,
SketchBook provides creative students to become digital editorial cartoonists,
Photoshop enhances student-users to become digital pic lovers,
And Weebly.com offers them to become online digital layout artists.

Learners can improve their speech when Youtube.com is accessed.
Learners can enunciate English accent through parroting the Youtube channel,
They can learn tenses of verbs on Youtube Language tutorials,
Therefore, they can learn English on Youtube.com

Artificial Intelligence can be the English teacher,
So, ICT is very much related to English teaching.

Ralph Malph's Mouth

Ah Yes, Do you remember this character from "Happy Days" Ralph Malph played by Donny Most?
Well, brothers and sisters
He inspired me to create this tongue twister.
RALPH MALPH'S MOUTH. Come on all you poets who know it.
Say it 10 times in 10 seconds if you can!
Faster!Quicker! Don't hesitate. Enunciate!
If you did it perfectly, you're better than me.
Come on all of you in poetry land.
With clever words at your command.
Give me your best tongue twisters.
All you talented sisters and misters!
The Tongue Twister Challenge IS ON!!

Then My Day Would Be Victory

THEN MY DAY WOULD BE VICTORY

If I were to be
Given an opportunity,
To write and enunciate
An apt description
Of what makes me cry,
Or fly like a kite on high,
Or paint pictures
On canvass’ blue,
For my mornings mostly though
I trip on stumbling blocks,
General feelings of sad
Not glad tidings be,
But Oh!
How I wish
To be an overcomer
And get rid of all the negatives vibes,
That exist within the inner self,
Then my day would-be victory….

She’d enunciate with fingers.
Deft language in deafness lingers
on blackboard.

Darkening reflection of smoke,
Wing’d knowledge of their names, baroque.
Bright blackbirds

smack against the Springtime phantoms.
Where’s the curious young bantams?
Forc’d blackout!

Uninspired for many days past,
a latent snack of sun-harrass’d
blackberries.

Must teens wait til they’re twenty-one?
The shut-ins, in digitized stun,
play blackjack?

This man refusing to enunciate
who sounds like someone’s missing marbles found
by his mouth took a vote in which escape
has hands-down won against rolling around
a schizoid tongue by an everyone-but-one
to one-against-which-one-won margin, stubs his toe
on stakes in the ground and moves swiftly on
from religious talk to an amputee’s hop,
thus dealing a crippling blow to choked upon balls
made of glass in so doing, shifting their hopes
from tongue to a$s until no-one calls
no-one else for help, assuming he’s dead as the Pope
who still enjoys a game of quick marbles
with only himself and ghosts of the gargles.

Premium MemberKeep the 'Change'

Can the world enunciate its feelings
towards a volatile emptiness

If we dared to visualize
the frothing of inevitability's smile
would it be enough

Would the barriers,
constructed by animosity's lament,
listen to reason
if dollar signs didn't taste so lustfully acidic

How could we learn to build,
if all we did was preach false pretenses

If it is said that chasing your dreams
would cost you dearly,
why can't “wisdom” be soulfully freed
of leather whipped wallets
and just show us the way

Could past-tensed smiles of the poor & meek,
really embrace the poorly meek, presently?

Does the alleged understanding
of a broken, budgetary embrace,
matter when they screw elaborated currencies?

If their heart was in the right place,
why do their crossed fingers point left...behind

When will mind over matter,
matter?

If our veritable presence is welcomed with open arms,
why would it be removed before one could say goodbye?

Another "check", bounced...

...keep your "change".

Seduction

Take your time, take your time
patience is a virtue.
Take your time, seduce my mind
and the rest will surely follow.
I need cerebral stimulation to complete
the physical equation. I’m funny that way.
I want to know there’s a mind
in the body next to mine.
Flood me with powerful words full
of truth and wisdom and humor –
your throbbing prowess held in check.
Wrap me, clothe me, and cover me in
your ever expanding intellect.
Paint vivid, moving pictures with
your skillful orator’s tongue.
Take me to the pinnacle, then pull
back – slowly – not too far.
Take your time, take your time
patience is a virtue.
Articulate.
Enunciate.
Edify.
Satisfy.
Take your time, take your time.
Seduce my mind, seduce my mind.

Hey Prettying

Abandoning me in boredom,
Now I see dis will lead a fruitless sojourn,
Wat really does dis hold for a prospective forum,
Surely I feel u desire d formation of a quorum,
Shall I always cage my unleashing dictum?

Align towards d sweetest pit of a heart and pray 2 remain at d bottom,
What gradually generates an auspicious occasion?
Do we uncociously relay d function?
Certainty already proposes a condition?
Probably an excuse 2 eternal accommodation,

Sadly she ignores d clarity of a freshly cooked portion,
In commemoration all dat she fires is jst 'A Question,
Surely dis humble poet never expected such as an appreciation,
Off she goes to properly protect any consolidation,
An encouragement she throws forward pretending 2 understand?

Promulgating constantly is her doctrine of intricate negativity,
Well in futuro Her terms might enunciate Longevity,
A switch of facts might streamline an expected positivity,
Oh yes she finally gives up 2 a plea of austerity,
Right here all of which allays further delays tends towards extricating sincerity.

Petition

Petition

We animals and after mature cogitation
Enunciate bury the hatchet and in peace abide
To the law of the jungle oppose our deprivation
Terminate the masquerade and nature commodities equally divide

Confide to pathetic humans the charge
To their lust grotesque for power leverage
Revamp hostility to supremacy attain
Ignoramus jackasses seeking to hold the reins

Pharaohs,stars and emperors long proclaimed
The commanded the skies and earth germane
Their bones under earth's scum alighted
Unhurriedly putrefied and fetid smell did remain

It though takes all kinds to make a world
With disparate feathers flock like a bird.
