Then My Day Would Be Victory

THEN MY DAY WOULD BE VICTORY

If I were to be
Given an opportunity,
To write and enunciate
An apt description
Of what makes me cry,
Or fly like a kite on high,
Or paint pictures
On canvass’ blue,
For my mornings mostly though
I trip on stumbling blocks,
General feelings of sad
Not glad tidings be,
But Oh!
How I wish
To be an overcomer
And get rid of all the negatives vibes,
That exist within the inner self,
Then my day would-be victory….
