Parasomnia

This paralyzing Dream inebriates me,
intoxicated by Death’s perfume,
I don’t believe I’m here to battle my
Demons, I’m here to keep them
safe and sacred, reach them
toward’s Heaven’s skies, raise and
teach them about Heaven’s signs
Is it sacrilegious and blasphemous
or the way God would treat his
Creation?

Valerie prayed I rose from a lala,
prayed I grant her wishes and
replace her father, prayed on
my soul like Kikyo, prayed I
upgrade her to a Mercedes;
she’s tired of her Impala. I
preyed on her conflict, preyed
on her lack of confidence, preyed
on her weakness, then created
Wonders

I warmed her silver
winter tundra in golden
orbs, spun slender
springs and softer
summers, now her
guard’s falling with
her brazier, is there
a posture in her
posture, can I trust
the feelings that she
Fosters?

Premium MemberChicks and Ducks in Splashing Spree

Bursting, breaking free from egg shells with glee
Baby chicks welcome their blest endowed worth
Amidst mother Earth’s radiating mirth
Ready to frolic in the pond --- there they flee.

Cheerful in their sunny color delight
Ducklings quack, inviting attention gain
While they wobble gladly, devoid of strain
Traversing terrain midst their dancing flight.

As water fowls of playful swimming zest
Ducks and chicks showcase aquatic tactic
Boasting splash-technique, indeed fantastic
Designed by God* with His creative best.

*Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

Premium MemberPositive Space

Snow covered field blankets the land
One single tree stands proud in the space
Silence engulfs this beautiful place
making difficult things, easy to understand

The twists and turns in life straighten out
The anxiety drifts away in the air
It is easy to feel all that is fair
when positive things come about!

The trees' lament

The tree sheds tears when
It's leaves are shed in the glen
It feels a piece of it is ripped apart
When the fruits rot and fall from it like a dart
It feels pained when the beautiful flowers wilt
But it feels pushed to the hilt
When mankind , to who it has given its heart and soul
Cuts its bark down whole
Such; is the tree's tenderness
Which we need in our own feelings to address
The finer qualities of life
Which will carry us through every strife

Premium MemberCourage To Win

With physical body, formed out of dust by supreme might
I'm alive; yet I confess personal frailty, needing Creator’s assistance
Thankful am I for His hand, ready to reach-out, never from a distance
To help me offer kindness while courageously treading under His light.

Admitting fear of seemingly bleak future
My faith hope leans on the Saviour’s assurance of bliss
Being the good Shepherd Who leads toward peace-abyss
Against cravings offered by vain carnality and feral human nature.

Blest with stature as God’s creation of divine worth
My soul trusts the Almighty along His sovereignty
Believing Him as the Source of eternal life’s bounty
Thus, I rely on His grace midst my obvious dearth.

Now, with courage* to win over lust of selfish will
I trust my Maker to direct steps for loving deed
While praying for functionality over philosophical creed
Since ready am I, His vessel for spiritual mandate to fulfill.

*Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Goodbye Nimbus

Sky walks on childhood white cloud dreams—
Wind's gist, my puffy pillows, undo; stunned
With tastes of sugar rain in coffee mug—
Dropped out of the air, I break in streams

That trickle down her nose; withdrawn in
A memory walking home from play,
The sunset a strange blue fade that day,
Songbirds fleeing norther; she's hushed them

With the sky's rivers of crime,
A girlhood doll robbed by rainfall's stealth—
The eternal crack in me herself—
To weather out, when by time.

Premium MemberFootsteps

The footprints in fallen snow
lead to mysterious places
wooded hills and open spaces
steps in a journey told to know

Fresh cold air awakens the mind
to all kinds of things to be seen
Some things fallen in a ravine
Others left on cliff edges to find

A search in nature is profound
Wildlife company always there
Up high, down low, everywhere
Sky, land, plants and trees all around

To know that I'm part of it all
in a stroll taken any day
Those footsteps taken will stay
memories, for me to recall

Premium MemberMastered Creation

The fog filters through, tall bare trees
Hovering in woods, above ground
I listen close to hear a sound
Perception is with one who sees

A mastered creation right here
Scenery, plants and wildlife too
Every day brings something sweet, new
There's no-where to go, it is near

Beauty in the hills, fields and sky
The sunsets paint colors to see
As the birds sing their songs, carefree
The rivers are roaring nearby

The strength of the mountains rise high
Quiet lakes bring comfort to shore
All this waiting outside my door
It calls to me and I reply

Premium MemberTRANSFORMATION AT WORK

Bestowed by God precious grace for each day
Our soul thanks blest chances of doing well
Becoming better with good news to tell
While sharing His love midst compassion ray.

With the Lord’s imparted divine nature
Our heart seeks for His transformation zest
Ready to offer ways of kindness’ best
Marked with mercy, pardon, and care’s nurture.

Despite human frailty with woe and pain
Our faith asks Christ for peace and wisdom-glow
Since He grants opportunities to grow*
Midst vibrant ripples for life-changing gain.

*2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Premium MemberTruth

Some say we are but bodies with a brain
and that the heart (when it can beat no more)
will have an end; I see no reason for
this way to think when answers seem so plain.

There’s meaning to our lives and what we are!
All nature is the proof. There is rebirth
abounding all around us on this earth!
Look heavenward! Truth glitters in each star.

As surely as we always see the dawn
when we awaken, I know truth is THIS:
God wants our growth so we can taste of bliss,
and this we’ll do - for souls go on and on!

“A bouquet of spring color adorns natures breast,
seductive banquet for flickering wings.” Quote_ by poet

The full moon sets a beautiful meek touch
Of midnight blue with its dappled beauty.
Whimsical romantic face, quite fruity.
Gray clouds try to obscure its passion such.

A radiant flickering approach, rouse
Crisp whiff embrace, awakes a lingering
Perfect calm, and benign fragrance of spring,
Bursting blooms underneath shadowy boughs.

Fairy focus on pleasing purity
With her watering pot, sprinkling nature
With indulgence, a rainbow overture,
Watercolor in its simplicity.

Premium MemberA Gold Doubloon

As twilight's shifting shadows slowly merge,
dusk extinguishes all lingering light.
And a spray of twinkling stars lights the night;
when the blackness of space and night converge.

Indigo skies morph into ebony
as a dying sun bleeds on snow-capped rocks.
And time is tethered to inpatient clocks;
that pause to behold this transcendency.

A curtain of misty clouds starts to form,
obscuring mountains behind veils of white.
And darkness descends as eagles take flight
over a landscape; that night will transform.

Silence rebuffs the creatures of the dark;
scurrying from the light of the full moon.
And Luna rises like a gold doubloon;
above a gnarled oak tree with gilded bark.

The day says goodbye with peaches
Of colored clouds brighter than gray
Darkness will come, but will not stay
Watch beauty, God’s nature preaches

Premium MemberCountdown To Armageddon

In nature, it is endowed with awareness.
Enduring apprehension in my heart
The dueling duress of beatific and vile start.
Our hearts sank as the words startled us

In duty to the Antichrist and his army,
Swarms of fellows with distorted mind.
They spew the vile toxin, all eyes fit blind.
To gullible and rotten, skies droop stormy.

But something wields a dull consciousness.
Defense forces sent by immoral angels
Never will we accept evil spiritual labels.
You can apologize and escape darkness.

When a disaster occurs, we will all join then.
And I pray that God sends you his blessing.
Satan army will die, and his delight ceasing.
These unafraid antagonists converted again.

We still have the golden opportunity to change.
Errors have been made throughout our history.
Note that this is a warning of a dire mystery.
This moment moves toward the hot range.

Enclosed Rhyme Sonnet: Nature's Mirror

Forget-me-not thy scent hast taste of time
for thou art pleased thy stance ere errant cast
thyself on tendrils secrets e'er none past
knowest thy name advance thy claim and climb.

O rose blossom beauty thy petals art
exhaustive, and as there's none to question
thou hast looks that clear a room's impression,
thus, to heaven astir, findeth your heart.

Lily, my dearest, how befitting of
names of one who vigils cemeteries,
thy reacheth yourselves our commentaries,
tis naught ours but thine, remember thee, love.

Tis nature, reflective and revealing,
whereth layeth true for death is willing.
