Fur Elise I play
For you I come to stay
Up close I prick with gay
Notes of you I lay and pray

Fur Elise I travel far
Poems of you I fill my jar
Up the hill I reach for you
Down the hill I search for you

Fur Elise I sing to you
Under the tree I long for you
Wherever I go I carry you
Above the sky I dream of you...

Premium Member Ciel Elise

Ciel, on your birth day ‘twas true to say
Heaven’s bright light rays rain’d down from above
Fast forward to fifteen years to the day
Now it’s you that brings light, laughter, and love

Kind, calm and caring, words under control
Wait! Who’s that fleet girl in cleats with the ball?!?
Rocket shot from right wing shoots straight to goal
Through back of the net...ball, keeper and all

French horn, piano, and ukulele
Swimming with sea turtles and manatee
Beautiful music and places to stay
Your trips oft start with Airbnb

Beacon of bright light for love, hope, and peace
Sweetest of sweet hearts, our Ciel Elise

Elise

Oh!I still remember....
the magic in her smile,I can't dismember
Just the snap of her fingers,
turns solid stones tender.
The blue in your star filled eyes
Make the deep blue sea cry.

You are a perfect creation
And just like an animation,
You send goose bumps down my spine
Thereby making me feel all fine
You are indespicably unique
That's why you are Elise

You are my darling flower
Your love gives me power.
I stare up at the stars
And I remember why you
love them so...they remind
you of how much I love you

Some times I wish I never
Met you,cause now it seems
Like I can't do without you
I wish to be the sun,in other
To help glorify your beauty
And the moon to watch you sleep.

As tall as a high mast
Your love seems so vast
You make me feel cherished
Thereby making the enemies to want me perished...you are my queen
So exhibit your beauty within.

Just like barbie in fairytopia
I found your love deep in utopia
Even though I love you from afar
Your love has left me with a scar
The summer scent of your hair
Leaves a beautiful fragrance in the air
You will always be my ELISE.

3rd October- Beans By Thomas Godber and Elise Buddle

Jo- deeeeeeeeeeee
Lovely! Where have you been, Miss Jo- deeee, you?
on a treadmill to the end of the earth, and you?
A place called yearning...
I was looking for my family and got lost on the way
How is the slow bean brewing? Is it coffee of a Heinz?
It is a running bean and it comes from a long stalk to the end of the earth, Truman Show artifice
Cook it, babe, cook it and rinse it in runners sweat so you can be full of beans
Im beaned out!
I happen not to be beaned out,
beans , beans , beans, beans....
I like having breakfast with you.

The Wooden Belly By Thomas Godber and Elise Buddle

My Wooden Belly drones... on your hunger
Hunger for the textures that line-
Crease me over
over and over, until 'fit inbetween the cracks,
slock- your sock is tired after runnin',
hangs on the rack,
the rack that has a crack,
the rack that some lack...
like men.

Ava Elise

Ava Elise

She came to us in the middle of the night,
I noticed the moonless sky had turned very bright.
Don’t ask why or ask me to explain,
I only know before, there was darkness and rain.

She seemed so radiant as I held her that day,
Looking at her tiny face, I silently began to pray.
“Lord, bless this little baby I hold in my hands,
Fill her life with love, according to your plans.”

“Father, bless her parents as they guide her through life,
Give them the wisdom to take away all her strife.
Lord, we remember when you were away in a manger,
We know you were surrounded with encompassing danger.”

“I ask the father to guide her on a similar trip,
Gird her up tight, Lord; please don’t allow her to slip.
For her Mom and Dad I also ask for your love,
Send down tons of it, from your mansion up above.”

I wrote this poem to honor the birth of my granddaughter, she is now 4 years old and is smarter than I am. How do I know? She recently told me so. I love her dearly.

Fur Elise

Your royal purple scarf explodes with color
against unwelcome December chill--
25 degrees this morning, heater
outside I pray will last another year,
working overtime. Your scarf
is "for cooler Florida weather," you wrote
on an accompanying card, high-
lighting a milky moon over
an indigo Vermont landscape.

"It's why I love winter," you wrote,
where skiing cross-country with your husband
goes with frostbitten toes.

Girls together, we were, both
of us widowed now, in a sisterhood
passing the half-century
mark, though I seek warmth
and you seek cold, moving
ever Northward to find it.

Premium Member A Musical Name...Claire Elise

It's almost as if Beethoven, had seen her gamin face
And had composed a melody...to match her given name
My grandchild, sweet Claire Elise, I love your name, so fair
You bear the name, so filled with grace of fragrant springtime air
Each letter, bound together, forms a soothing lyrical sound
She has mischief set between her eyes...and with cheeks the color rose
Such a name that fits her many moods, like a poem so filled with prose
She is daughter of springtime, impatient as the seasons
Twirling like a whirlwind, never needing any reason
She's an imp, she's a beauty, she is like a butterfly's cocoon
She is living on the threshold, of a flower soon to bloom
Summer glistens in her raven locks, winter hides behind her pout
Autumn waiting in the colors, she is changing all about
Her beauty leaves me breathless, like the sound of her sweet name
Claire Elise...my love unfolds....a greater beauty still untold
Beneath the moon, beneath the skies, just as your name implies
You are the greatest gift, I've ever received,
You are heaven sent, on angel wings
From your mother's winsome smile
And the teasing loving twinkle in your daddy's gleaming eyes

The Tragedy of Elise

We are Elise.
We are uncountable.
With no way to break open our locks
They designed sweet melodies as keys
And conquered countries in our name.

We are the loved and easily forgotten.
They came to us with bouquets of rose,
Like the Queens, we sat cold yet joyous
As they placed sweet nothings by our feet
And we were heartbroken when they abandoned us.

We are the noontime shadows.
The sun is so bright and the darkness so great
Hurricanes rage inside and tear us apart
But we dare not reveal the burdens we carry
For we are loved by them, in all their carelessness.

We are Elise.
Broken open and tossed aside.
Loved purely then left behind.
Unhappy but satisfied.
We are Elise, the greatest puppet ever made.
