Premium Member Is Everything Ducky

Everything is ducky in their house I bet
I turned and saw the twins – Annie and Annette
Wearing duck hats and ducks on their feet
With dour expressions, they never look sweet

Sure, just ducky I agreed and we all had a laugh
The elephant, raccoon, me and the giant giraffe
Annie and Annette have been grumpy since day one.
I do not think they have even once had a bit of fun

The fact that they dress in ducks is amusing to us
They look stupidly silly, said a sloth name of Gus
He rarely comments, said the elephant’s daughter.
I smiled myself as these grumps came out of the water.

Wearing ducks as if to say everything is ducky
When their expressions always say the world is yucky
The contrast brought a bit of a smile on me
Then they turned and dove back into the Indian Sea.

Premium Member A Ducky Song

Waddle with me in a downpour of rain
Singing in a symphonious refrain
Jumping in puddles, splashing everyone
Simply because we will have lots of fun.

We'll fluff up our feathers, inhale fresh air
Twist and shake until we have no breath there
Because we are smarties, we have it cracked
And expertly do a ducky class act.

One two and then quack, one two and then splash
Allow alluring eyelashes to flash
Look to the left and then look to the right
Dancing and prancing from morning to night.

Then we can dream elating ducky dreams
In the wondrous world of fantasy themes
Arriving there, surely one can't do wrong
Waddling to the tune of a ducky song.

Premium Member Rubber Ducky

Play with my rubber ducky each time in the tub
Wants me to snuggle, give it's parts a rub
Oblige of course
Not really forced
Such a cute li'l ducky, methinks I'm in love

Just Ducky

When sex was as common as muck
The Mallard took over as "Duck"
Not much for playing
The hens were laying
Because one and all loved its pluck*

* Like American police,
Anas platyrhynchos  drakes mate
- repeatedly - with anything they
can get in a neckhold - and eagerly
join in gangbangs, leaving no doubt
that Chinese women had neither
voice nor choice in the selection of
the duck as a symbol of happiness!"

Premium Member Little Ducky

little ducky

here i am
submerged in my thoughts
about a lone duck in a pond
first, why is she by herself
second, why didn't she eat the rice,
or bread
i think,
i think
what a life
what a habitat
... here she is in a pond,
with a waterfall,
mind you
on the grounds of a hotel
can it be so bad?
or is this not a safe haven,
sheltered from the elements
harms way, predators
obviously this is the good life
or is it?
i look at the duck,
so content
in it's own little world
swimming in circles
without a quack, or playmate
it was like looking in the mirror
i see workers leaving food
how nice
what got me is little duckie
is so human
in the pond i see leftover bread,
rice,noodles,crackers
all snacks that workers brought
i see duckie ignoring the usual foods
and swims over to the rock that held a black donut
yes little duckie going for the sweets
i don't blame her
you only live once
... in one nibble she eats half
uncanny, just like me
chew her food?
nope
it was like ... gulp ...
uncanny, just like me
... uncanny i found a moment
in time that touches my heart
it feels good

Just Ducky

JUST DUCKY
BY: JONATHAN W. HOPKINS

HAVE YOU SEEN THAT DUCK DYNASTY SHOW?
IT'S QUITE THE HOOT,DON'T YOU KNOW!

THAT OLD MAN LEADING THE CLAN,PUTS THEM DUCKS IN A ROW, AS FAST AS HE CAN! ROUND UP THE CLAN OLD MAN, OKAY? LET'S GO TO ZAXBY'S TODAY!

THOSE GUYS WITH THOSE BEARDS MAKING QUITE A FUSS,
IN THEIR CAMOFLAGE CLOTHES,TRYING TO ENTERTAIN US.

HARD TO BELIEVE THEY GET PAID TO DO THIS,
I GUESS  THEY'RE LUCKY, IT'S A TRUE BONA-FIDE HIT,
AND ISN'T THAT JUST DUCKY!

Don - Or Ducky

Don, not the one on the trombone,
Though you could spin a ball
Cool as him. The big stone
Where we sit watching the rain fall
Is it still there? I need
A rock stronger than that one,
When the gold leaves become weed
Wet and smudgy as the homehill pond
Is that where they found the Dragon
Dead? Our days have changed nothing
But we are changed. The bond
For the old gang is stil sweet in
My heart, Kenly, Juksweet, Young,
Gary, Comfy, Buffat with the spin
On facts only your lung
Could breathe. Dave and I are here
But I never see him, I think
Of V and Lorna there,
In that little world that even more we shrink
By travelling to bigger loneliness, and countries
And no one understand. How I want
To come back with better stories
Than before, and hear you laugh for free
In the sand bed theatre of life's comedy.
I would not measure friendship by our bond today
Yet though its love is guinep stain
All that memory of Dredge, and the pounding rain
We built this with our hands, it will not go away.

Rubber Ducky

Rubber ducky
~~~~~~~~~~
I've got a duck, a rubber duck
It lives on the tub, I like it
I had one when I was six
Once when I asked my stepmother where it was
Her reply was "I'll show you a rubber duck
you little freak!"
That day I learned and earned the price of my
Childhood
That time it was cheap only two teeth a bloody nose
and a fractured jaw
My every move in life exacted a different pain
and suffering
I learned how to hate, and then I learned how to love
that’s why last year I bought the duck that lives
on the tub
It's just a small reminder.
Untitled #128 / It's a Green Rubber Ducky
It’s a green rubber ducky!
And now it squeaks and squeals
right inside Hannah’s ear
making her squeak and squeal!
Oh sweet startling mimicry!
