Some want the attention,
Others just want a trophy,
Most want fame or fortune,
WELL IM IN IT FOR ME GOT IT,
I couldn’t care about your applause,
Nor care about all your praise and awards,
So don’t you dare think I’m the same,
DONT YOU DARE COMPARE ME,
I’m greedy for your eyes and attention indeed,
But for a purpose of my own and not the worlds,
I write to shine brighter,
I WRITE for myself,
I WRITE FOR MY FREEDOM,
This world,
It’s people,
It’s society,
Can never change the heart of a writer,
SO I REFUSE TO FOLLOW ORDERS,
I object being the same,
I deny our “similarity’s”
Because who ever said we had to be the same.
-Kitsuko Dragonstar
The many suicides of black men
Black men deserve love too
Even if its just a simple 'I love you'
The world tells them they have to be tough
But enough is enough
If you're complicit
In being a witness
Of their mental health issues
Don't be confused
If they choose suicide
Don't be surprised
I mean you didn't care when they were alive
So dont you dare cry
How many times are we going to let this happen?
How many times will we as a society ignore them?
Because our black men deserve better
They deserved to be treasured
Because if we don't we'll lose them forever
As a society we can let them suffer
But we can be their protectors
We slowly drove he knew no haste
Not a grain of urgency did he have
My watch told me that we were late
Of all the days to pick time to waste.
A friends buriel we were due to attend
And now I was beginning to feel panic
He reminded me, so much like a sloth
Seemed this journey would never end.
At every junction he'd stop and wait
People behind would toot their horns
Whats their problem he would say
I had never before seen folks so irate.
He carried on his slow driving without any care
Then he slowed down, I thought dont you dare
At long last we reached the church of St Clare
And it was no surprise there was nobody there.

Don’t tell me to be calm
Not after years of the palm
Years of running away from your palm
And then I see it coming again
Don’t you dare tell me to be calm!
I am no fool!
Your cup is full!
I’m no longer going to play the victim
Not with all these scars within
It’s been too long
This is not where I belong
Don’t you dare call me names!
Not after years of eating the canes
Your harsh words
Your demeaning words
Your violence
Your insolence
Don’t you dare!
I’m done being afraid
This me you made…
Hell no!
I have to go!
Don’t you dare come after me!
Don’t invite me for tea!
I’m done being your punching bag
Feel free to let your tongue wag
But don’t expect me back
You’ve left your mark
Big scars of sorrow
I won’t let you ruin my tomorrow
So, don’t you dare come after me!
I’m off to build a happier life for me
To be a better me without you

How is it that i feel this way, Feel the same... as I did once upon a time?
I dont know what to do, I feel that I'm losing my mind.
Everybody tries to get their way, They make mistakes,...
Until it's too late.
They don't realize what they're doin' to you...
Cuz they are, so confused.
Nobody's perfect in the Next life or this,
But when we realize, the big mess that we're in...
We wanna take back the pain with one little wish,
and do it... all over again.
How is it that i feel this way, Feel the same... as I did once upon a time?
Everybody tries to get their way,
But they keep makin', them old mistakes.
It seems as if I cant do a single thing right,
But all I asked was for you to hold me tight.
Things are back to the way they were...
Hell they're even better.
You may have a second chance, afterall...
So dont you dare Drop the ball
How is it that i feel this way, Feel the same... as I did once upon a time?
I dont know what to do, I feel that I'm losing my mind.
Nobody's perfect in the Next life or this,
But when we realize, the big mess that we're in...
We wanna take back the pain with one little wish.
Do it, Just do it, all over again....
the heart i had is nolonger and i have become a sober song of sadness to those iuse to love when i used to love and now im a falling in the sharks pitt like i always do and they speak of disorder dissarray but im right here and i am okay dont you dare say that im not okay
Tell Me The True In Its Entirety.
Dont You Dare Lie To Me.
Ill Find The Truth No Matter What You Say
Nothing Can Stand In My Way
Im Done With The Lies I Dont Know Why I Even Tried
I Saw The End From The Beginning So Why Were We
Pretending There Would Be A Happy Ending?
So what is it that you want
I ll meet you in the front
We ll settle this confrontation
And we ll do it on this foundation
Dont run 'cause i'll chase you down
And i can run this entire town
Dont you dare smile
I'll take you on in style
These rhymes taste bad
But its gonna be you thats sad
Dont even try to steal mine
Becasue i can bring it anytime
I aint talkin' 'bout cheerin' niether
'Cause i can do either
No im talkin' 'bout the real deal
The one that no one can steal
The one where everyone gets a feel
To everyone it has an appeal
Im not tryin to scare
Im not here to dare
Just sayin' im dangerous
And my fury is contagious
My fight is courageous
And my rhymes outrageous
Get that smile off your face
For it is what im gonna erase
Dont let me get a taste
Or your world will lay in waste
Youre frozen, you can't run
This fight is already done
Let me paint my masterpiece
Today there will not be any peace
So look to your god
As i smash this guy to a wad
Look away for its ugly
I dont work justly
There it is if you want to go
See me put on a show
None of this untrue
Even if the guy is you
How can you scream at me brother
its not my fault
you were caught
not i
i stopped before the cops decided to come by
how can you scream at me brother
i didnt lie
i didnt tell your girlfriend what you hide
its not my fault you cheated on her
its not my fault you made her want to die
how can you scream at me brother
look me in the face
i consider you blood
and yet you just walk away
how can you scream at me brother
dont turn your back
i gave you my heart as your little sister
Trevor, dont just walk away
dont you dare scream at me brother
ive had enough abuse
i told you first what happened
i trusted you
dont ever scream at me brother
for none of this is my fault
your the major screw up
i didnt say i wasnt at all
Walk away from me brother
that doesnt make you a man
look at me
dont hide
i want to see the tears from my hand
i didnt phisically slap you brother
it was all with my words
with the tears on my face
beacuse its your fault im hurt.
Maybe i go to church every sunday
irregardless of how i know how they changed their ways of how many spankings
the nuns gave out in sunday school
and the abuse the children of previous generations recieved at home when they
didnt worship their saviour
Maybe I don't need church monday to sunday
and to be brainwashed around the clock
of the obsessions that control your thought
i will fix that pipe and come visit you on the day of praise
to see a lousy preacher
who has nothing worthy to hear read or humbling to say
Maybe just maybe
you have a point of view
and i respect you too
but dont you dare
try to one up me
by looking like a man of god in the public eye
because between us and the positive affirmations
the bibles neglect to tell our souls of the divine truths of our nature
My eyes are wide open to the days of old
where the walked up hill barefoot in the snow
to get a lickin from the priests
then the nuns
beg god for forgiveness
go home and be beat for not being absolutely perfect
to run away confused and scared
forced into a woprld where pain and mental anguish was the door to love of your
holy god?
