Diplomatic Secrets to Take to My Grave

Diplomatic Secrets to Take to My Grave

I worked for 27 years
as a US diplomat
and witnessed a lot of things
that were and are considered
secrets.

– and we are trained
to keep these secrets
 secret.

and I will no doubt die
and take some secrets
to my grave.

Life As a Us Diplomat

Life as a U.S. Diplomat

For 27 years
I served my country
As a diplomat

I worked all over the world
Advancing US government policies
Promoting American values.

Helping foreigners visit the U.S.
Helping Americans overseas
Issuing thousands of visas.

Talking to thousands of people
Every day,
In my fractured tortured English,
Korean, Thai, and Spanish.

In the end,
I just remained
A boy who grew up in Berkeley.

And was eternally grateful and amazed
For the opportunity to serve
My country.

Mighty Big Ben

A big "if"
get a whiff
Me? zero.
my hero...

Ben Franklin
wise statesman
scientist
columnist.

Ben's passwords -
Poor Richard's
crackerjack
almanack.

Did Silence
Dogood sense
women's rights
and insights?

Philly fire
would inspire
Ben's brilliance -
insurance

Self-taught, thence
Ben invents
bifocals
smart mogul.

Next project
he'd perfect
ladder chair
with step stair.

Millionaire
takes a dare
Kites and keys
lightning please.

A new hat
diplomat
Ben would dance
off to France.

Death's closed door
eighty-four
Famous men
admire Ben.

Premium Member A Math Diplomat Grows Up

How could you, Mr. Barnoby?
How could you give me a math example?
You know I don't do math.
YOU'RE My math teacher, you know that.
You should know where a young person like me
Is with math. Yeah I said young person. Instead of
Kid, because I DON'T feel like a kid.
I'm 13 give me a break.

This math thing has kicked me around plenty
In The classroom.
Now, that I'm an adult or at least I think I am.
I might suffer a bit because Of the way I'm choosing to deal
With this math monster unlike most people would.
I plan on totally avoiding percentages, division, and equations.
I can perform division and percents if I wanted to.
But I'm choosing not to.

So far I've managed to not be mangled by a complex, crucifying,
Convoluted, conundrum.
A blood sucking equation.
I've never been mathematically inclined.
But after becoming an adult I discovered that I wasn't the
Only victim who saw algebra as FRIGHTENINGLY COMPLEX.
THE LAST WORD: A CALCULUS - LIKE MIGRAINE.

Once a Dapper Diplomat in Paris
Took to « wife » a Man for his Mrs.
« She » wanted a Baby
« She » married a Lady
Now Diplomat has Wife minus His.

Diplomat

He will always go along
Knowing you are so wrong;
Knowing he is right,
He will never fight
So the night won't be so long!

The Foreign Diplomat

While campaigning among South American civilians

he got news of the death of three Brazilians

        He said he was vexed

        then he asked quite perplexed

just how many is a brazillion?

God's Diplomat

Guide me father
For I am your vessel
Teach me your way
For I am your child
Give me strength to do your will
I will obey you with all of my will
Let me be your diplomat to show your
Love, Power, and Strength, Amen
