aw shucks demetrius demarcus bartholomew james the 3rd
oh no i think i have to poo now
poopy gotta run
i went outside to fully connect with my ancestors
they said “you suck”
oh no i think i’m turning into a monkey
oo oo ah ah monkey noises?
this is what happens when you play fortnite
ya poop and become a monkey
i pooped so loudly the earth beneath me rumbled
it shot like a rocket, which then i fumbled
i propelled into space, flying through the stars
i had to learn how to spit some bars
i had found some cookie jars
flashy cars
i really wish i was dead
or in be
instead it was the FORTNITE that made me think
it made me see
all the world
why do i exist
kill me please
Hermia and Helena are ready to fight each other.
The same can be said for Demetrius and Lysander.
To keep this party of four from throwing a fist,
I will cover them all with a thick morning mist.
They will fruitlessly chase each other without a doubt.
Each one will fall asleep when they are all tired out.
Based on the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare
Puck, being a dummy is something you can't deny.
You took that flower's nectar, and put it on the wrong guy.
Lysander was intended to be the lover of Hermia.
Now, he has fallen in love with the other woman, Helena.
Helena has two lovers; Demetrius and Lysander whom you mistook.
Hermia and Helena are about to have a donnybrook.
Get me the flower that will reverse Lysander's spell.
Hurry before this scene becomes a living hell.
Based on the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare
Lysander, my father's decision does not favor us.
By law, he wants me to marry Demetrius.
If I do not marry him, it's either death or chastity.
Lysander, I love you. You're the only one for me.
Tonight, let's meet in the woods and leave this city.
Away from Athens, we will eventually have each other.
Besides, I know Demetrius has another lover.
Helena loves him, but he has no feelings for her.
He must have a change of heart. There has to be a way.
Let's leave this place for we can no longer stay.

She walks by, leaving a trace of scent
with her own volition and beauty
Gracing the soul with sedentary thoughts
of loveliness and charm
The rose is an emblem of God's love for us
she is always, on duty...
I've seen a few murders with the naked eye.
And if you're reading this poem no need to be surprised why.
The streets had me blind since I was 11 years old.
And now at the age 27 I need to make sure all my stories get told.
The last murder is what really hurt the most.
I should have told him about the word of God first.
But he was so deep in the streets in his eyes there was no hope.
And as he took his last breath, my new life started.
Just to see the fear in his eyes as his body left earth I felt departed.
I felt responsible for his death.
Because we were together and having fun I remembered he was so happy to hear he was having a son.
I just never got a chance to tell him about God's plan.
Till this very day I can still see the blood on my hands.
I will miss you always Demetrius Simpson
Told To Fit Mold
Now worn down and things are growing old;
Affirmative Actions forces us to fit a mold;
Forced to do;
Both me and you;
Am tired of doing what we have been told.
James Horn
Legislating civil rights creates many conflicts,
problems and difficulties. I had a Master's
Degree, with six years experience as a labor
economist and a 35 year old veteran whose
father was killed on active duty on Carrier Intrepid.
A 22 year old black female with a BA degree received
the job due to Affirmative Action. This was in
Federal Civil Service. I was really hurt and the
GS-14 who was doing the hiring retired and
was tired of having to put up with Affirmative
Action. I have tried to remain positive but it
wasn't easy. His name was Demetrius Mosanides.
My green in white snow
Snow blanket on your red scarf
Quake in your pockets
My nuggets of snow
Seeking handfuls of red warmth
Your hibiscus glow
Cool snow embracing
You redden further in flame
Jingle steps in veins
Let snow melt in joy
Let beauty come out dimpling
Our neurons mingling

To many things unknown to me
So many realities I fail to see
To love and it's boundless effects
Which leaves many with confusion and deep regrets
To the search for answers in places unthinkable
In light of harsh and foolish words unspeakable
To the glaze of your eyes through summer days
Much can be assured in your comfort ways.
Why I wonder with all that I have now
I have plenty yet I want more
I have love yet it is not enough
I have freedom to choose yet I do not
I have an abundance of family yet I am alone
I have a beautiful place I can call home
I have an boundless supply of food yet I am never nourished
I have hopes and dreams yet I fear them
Most of all I have you
This poem is dedicated to humanity

What if, a question asked by God himself.
An illusion to a time never known.
A question that continues to haunt.
Filled with regrets and remorse.
It can stop the clock from passing.
Allowing doubt into your mind.
All what if can see is the wrongs
and not the rights.
So don't ask yourself what if, just do.
Believe in you and be without fear.
Forget about what if.
It is just two words.
This poem is free verse. I prefer free verse because it allows me to just put my thoughts out there without being restricted by the limitations that structure impose. This poem is supposed to give the reader a sense of freedom, it initiates the idea that one does not have to doubt themselves, life is just better when you go out and do.
She is the gentlemen’s ultimate one dream girl,
She is a rogue who pompously goes the world in a swirl.
She is so called to be the best Queen Bee of all,
Deep inside is a rake Wanna bee of one famous gal.
She wears a smiling crown around her lovely hairy head,
Her sweetest angel scent smells like those flowery scented thread.
She’s a an ideal queen with a truly humbled personality,
That girl who wears a crown is childish in a comic reality.
She explicitly tells about her real emotions,
She’s obviously genuine in giving her friends’ attentions.
She easily gets irritated when they mock at her,
That childish reaction is so much funny to stare.
She is someone who I so always adore,
Confidences I see are fiery raging and soar.
That Queen in a yellow dress that always looks amazing,
Is a Queen on Demetrius fire who is incredibly fine and stunning.
Smiling, it squirts its juices,
delighting in matchmaking,
just like Cupid, whose misaimed arrow,
it recalls, once struck it.
Lucentio and Bianca:
a happy match;
they owe much to it, it knows.
Lysander and Hermia;
Demetrius and Helena…
well, they eventually thanked it too.
But Queen Titania and Bottom…
Love-in-Idleness giggles
…A flower has to have its fun.
Its scans the sleeping eyes
wondering who is next
for its powerful love potion.
I’ve personified the flower, Love-in-Idleness (it mostly appears in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, but is also briefly mentioned in The Taming of the Shrew)
