Told To Fit Mold

Told To Fit Mold

Now worn down and things are growing old;
Affirmative Actions forces us to fit a mold;
Forced to do;
Both me and you;
Am tired of doing what we have been told.

James Horn

Legislating civil rights creates many conflicts,
problems and difficulties. I had a Master's
Degree, with six years experience as a labor
economist and a 35 year old veteran whose
father was killed on active duty on Carrier Intrepid.
A 22 year old black female with a BA degree received
the job due to Affirmative Action. This was in
Federal Civil Service. I was really hurt and the
GS-14 who was doing the hiring retired and
was tired of having to put up with Affirmative
Action. I have tried to remain positive but it
wasn't easy. His name was Demetrius Mosanides.
