a space time matter

flouting skydivers ~

Her inability to love.
Love like bitter sweet honey, 
Humming to the song of her heart, 
One she has long forgotten the lyrics. 
A reminisced feeling of sealed Déjà vu.

At sight of change,

My Muse Is Under the Credenza

I want to write a poem today
but the wood insists on ritual—
Pledge and patience, lemon oil,
a soft cloth circling
what must be remembered. 

The coffee table’s judging me.
The hutch has turned authoritarian.
Even the banister
is giving me splintery side-eye,
and the bureau just rolled its drawers.

My muse, naturally,
has curled up in the dust bunny
beneath the credenza,
refusing to come

Women are like Wild Honey

They start thick— 
not the polite kind you stir into tea
not the mild drizzle on breakfast toast
but the kind that runs hot
slow
dangerous 
coating your tongue before you grasp
the price of its pleasure.

They start golden— 
dripping off the comb 
sun pressed into their marrow 
too rich, too syrupy— 
gumming up the gears of your schemes

Where shadows don’t follow, they lead.

Freedom Bares Its Teeth

Freedom isn’t a delicate flower;
It’s the fist that goes through the ground,
the teeth that grind at the chains,
the howl of a wind
that won’t ask for permission.

I refuse to bow to the crumbs of tomorrow,
I won’t let my bones sink into decay,
a shell waiting to grow scraps.
I’ll carve out freedom

It's not a stillness, really,
