If I must run for my life, I’m a dead duck
These old worn-out hips will give out quick
Time came when my arthritis was undeniable
When I walk now, I hear my knees click.
I’m thinking I should consider replacements
Those newfangled techniques are superb,
I saw an old lady with brand new hip joints
Kick an unwitting purse snatcher to the curb.

Not All

3/31/22

Quick to judge and think less of us
Too many petty s
It all was over twenty bucks

Only one way to find out is your best enough
Go ahead and test your luck

To the fallen souls, rest up
Refusing to be a dead duck
Yet stressed and stuck
Too much energy and thoughts pent-up

I drank out the can or glasses, equating to many cups
Sick of the drama, avoiding any fuss

In a world that is constantly crazy
Can't reap benefits from being lazy
Yet many do from being snakes and shady
Taking advantage of others on the daily

Not cap, just facts
Always smoking thrax
Cutting all the crap, could see it in my raps
Was on then got off the tracks
Not perfect, I did relapse

Relax, no need to always stay tense
A lot are way dense
Easily they take offense
Can't always get along and be neighbors sharing the same fence
At times it just doesn't make sense

Not all should feel the same
Not all would feel your pain
Not all could feel brave
Not all that is good or bad will feel afraid
You'd be suprised, disgusted or real amazed
Staying dull or sharper than a damascus steel blade

From the Lips of a Saint

From the lips of a saint
Escaped innocence-reducing ‘’,
As he sought to clearly paint
A scene of Twisted Luck:
A doubly exploded truck
Some bandits had brazenly struck…

From the lips of a saint
The sometimes hair-raising ‘’.
That would sparkling innocence taint;
Does it matter bandits had struck
To leave a once-alive, a dead duck?
In Holy Circles A Verbal Non -Restramt
And ever unwelcome spiritual constraint

From the lips of a saint
Mainly ‘Christ ‘we should pluck
Not the more- stinking- than –muck.

Premium Member Broken

Jagged lines
Hurts cut
Deep pain
Sad poem

Hope lost
Joy drains
Life hangs
Pain splits

Too late
This crash
Blood spills
Kill joy

No more
Sad moves
Sense gone
Dead duck

Dung heap
Decay
Death styles
Dust heap

Void ease
Vast plunge
Drown deep
Jagged lines

Yingluck, Yingluck

Yingluck, Yingluck,
Bad luck, good duck
Good luck, dead duck
Yingluck, Yingluck.

Helen of Thailand,
You launched thousand foes,
Your sorroral defenses
Of Thaksin
Was a sin, is a sin
Unkennelling jaundiced protesters
Causing you a premier ruin.
Yingluck, Yingluck,
Bad luck, dead duck!

Premium Member Diddly Squat

Funny talk... "diddly squat"
Means basically nothing to me!
Where do these words come from?
Do they grow these things on trees?

What a joke... "a pig in a poke"
Fooled unsuspecting buyers!
Instead of a piggy inside the bag
Twas a kitty cat for the fryer!

But of course... "hay's for horses"
Here's another reason to spend?
Some stuffing for your Jockeys
To give you a fuller front end!

Just my luck... "I'm a dead duck"
She caught me with this lady!
Not to worry, it all turned out
Twas Mom so nothing shady!

Whadya think... "Take forty winks"
Causes trouble with wifey poo!
Of course if you wink at a filly
And the filly winks back at you!

It's really absurd... these silly words
They upset our daily routine!
They've been known to turn sunny days
To the ugliest days ever seen!

Haste Turned To Waste

I tried to twist and turn it,
but no result so far i could see.
My ring is tight and aching,
my finger wants to be free.

i was happy on the day...
my ring slipped into my finger.
Topping my happiness was the rotten cake,
and the stinky glass of stinger.

Nothing wrong then i could see,
so happy than ever i could be.
I even felt like a princess....
Stop laughing! i know thats senseless.

I said 'I do' in a haste,
but didn't know all will turn into waste.
I knew i loved him like the star and the moon,
But didn't know i'll turn a dead duck soon.

Alas! all you ladies up there,
pull up your soxes, tighten your waist.
i know you would surely not want,
a 'Haste turned into Waste'.

Dead Duck

A lady took her duck to the Vet!
He examined the duck, then he said,
"I'm sorry Miss, to inform you,
but I'm afraid, your pet duck is dead!"

"I find it hard, to believe you!
Is there no more tests, you can do?"
He opened the door, then he told her,
"I'll be back in a minute or two."

He came back with a Black Lab Retriever,
and a cat, that was part black and white.
They both sniffed the Duck, from head to foot,
then the Vet says, "they proved I was right!"

He then, gave the lady his bill!
One hundred and fifty, it read!
She replied, "you're charging me that much,
just to tell me, my pet duck is dead?"

"If you believed me, from the beginning,
your bill, would be just twenty bucks!
But, with the Lab report, and the Cat Scan,
I'm afraid, you're just out of luck!"

"a Soothing Touch"

The old man
Sits alone,
A babe in the woods
Dead duck easy prey

A soft touch is offered,
I take the old one home

"Are these you're last days?" I ask,
He nods unknowingly

A shot of bourbon is given
Gratefulness he gives
With deep set eyes.

Sleep away now.

I'll never forget to remember
I too could be this old man,
On any given day.

Sleep away old man,
Sleep where you may.

The Knockout

He stood in his corner, waiting to start,
I was going to make this a work of art,
He swung a punch, and I blocked it well,
Then I punched him, with the force of hell!

At the end of the round, we both sat down,
He was worn, and starting to drown,
As we began again, I acted fast,
Punching him hard as cannon would blast,

I broke his nose, and kept on fighting,
This sport was good, I found it exciting,
I was doing OK, and a then disaster struck,
He got a great punch, and I fell like a dead duck

I stayed on the ground, trying to move,
But I had lost my boxing groove,
He beat me on a straight knockout,
That’s what boxing is all about

A Soothing Touch

Old man
Sits alone

A babe in the woods
Dead duck
Easy prey

Offer a soft touch
I do
Take the old man home

Is this your last days i ask?
He nods unknowingly,,

A double shot
Of bourbon i give,
Gratefulness given
With deep set eyes

Good-night old man
Sleep away,,,
Sleep in comfort
Where you may..

I'll never forget
To remember?
I could be this old man
On any given day

Seek comfort now
Old man
Seek it where you may,,,
