I Dwell In Halo Clouds

I choose to dwell in frothy clouds…
with a mindset unfixed
Random instincts   spaced out 
In the cumulus mix
An expansive effusion
Far out and beyond my temporal shackles
Free are my thoughts without prompt
Closed minds shallow and 
desolate debacles
dissipate in this airy romp

On wispy clouds I dwell in…
high above I’ve risen
Here no need to reason
nor the blends

Cumulus Rejoice

Most cherished of thoughts, ideas abloom, 
spreading, expanding
Overcoming harsh crushing repression, 
breaking loose into a fluffy
sacred cloud bound emancipation 
Liberation! My spirit takes flight, light, 
mellow, blithe and callow 
No longer crushed prostrate 
'neath the crushing tyranny of the basis gossip 
I inhale an atmosphere crisp and fresh, 
bounding upward, deep into the wide blue

How much does a cumulus cloud weigh

How much does the average cumulus cloud weigh?
I watch one glide across the sky at sloth speed
It is fluffy, white and porous with a shine of light blue
Dainty and light, it weighs maybe six pounds I guess
The scientist visiting me laughs.
An average cumulus cloud weighs as much as one hundred elephants.
She is kidding, right?
I stare

Cumulus

Where do clouds come from?
Who flies them 'cross the sky?
Do their pilots choose destinations?
Ever wonder where they land?
Is rain their only function? 
Do shapes tell cute tales?
Perhaps they're a whisper
from Above?

Cloudy Thoughts

If I could climb on top of a cloud
I’d have the world’s coziest mattress
A cumulus quilt that’s softer than down
And beneath it, a silk sheet of stratus

A nimbus puff to pillow my head
With matching lenticular duvet
And perhaps I’d get an extra set
In sunset pink and stormy gray

Some say I must surely be insane
For I’d be

Cumulus clouds slide stealthily across the horizon;
a lone raven sits cawing.  Yellow leaves falling signal the end of Summer's embrace as a chill breeze wafts by.

conjure cumulus frost bitten clouds
blinding billows sculptured shrouds

zeniths growing burgeoning flowers
amplified pulsing pastel towers 

cotton confections mountainous might
splendiferous altars vestal white 

veiled vapors frosty smoke
cumulus canvas draws cloud gazing folk

Cumulus

i can
lay back
on the grass
or sit on my as
s still looking at

cloud
formations that
mentally translate
into shapes that i want
to make into positively happy

things beautifully floating
in my lying imagination
looking out this plane's
windows on a different
plain for i am above 

looking down upon 
them now slowly 
going down among
them becoming
one with them

finally being below
them and landing
now standing
staring straight

I am suspended w/o interruption 
Drifting across the cerulean ocean
Unblemished in the mystic ceiling 
Feathers spread to swim thru
Thru the effervescent blue 
Eyes reach up to embrace astonishing 
And perceive suspiciously
The soul inquiring internally 
And mind waning to comprehend me

My shade greets well 
Alleviating skin that is pale
I am not the main attraction in the

	Cumulus clouds
Fill the once lit daytime sky,
	These structures
Do now more than just pass by,
	Winter is here 
Becoming the season for sure,
	It’s going to be a 
Heavy one, more than demur,
	These flakes are 
All in their own way unique,
	Giving this Winterous
Wonderous Land a totally new peek,
        Maybe this one
Will

as swans swim smoothly
                                    on blue water of lack like

Cumulus, Midmorning

Watching the clouds travel by,
fast moving, each one a soul
I name.  There's work to be done
up there, sweeping the sky clear
of sorrow, leaving unblemished
blue to lighten the load we carry.
They have been unburdened 
from theirs, still care for the 
absolution of the earthly.
