Premium Member Who Deserves All The Credit

Putting all my feelings aside
Let me in your eyes gaze
Help me to put away my pride
Always be willing to change my ways
Let me not always selfish remain
Help me once more to have daydreams
From the Holy Spirit have gained
Some insights that are truly supreme
Not claiming that I only knew
Give Jesus all the credit too

Premium Member they left her with one credit card

the family left her with one credit card
Because it seemed unkind to not leave her with that
the card got passed around from resident to resident
stolen, restolen, restolen, restolen, restolen

No one ordered anything from it,
it was used however to flick fuzzies off of a quilt
to scratch a neck, as a straight edge to draw a line,
to scrape an itchy finger.

You must take it home, the nurses told the family.
This is an Alzheimer’s unit; one of them might figure out how to use it
none of them did, and the family left it with their mother
in case she regained her knowledge of credit cards
she never did

Premium Member Women Don't Get Enough Credit

Women don't get
enough credit
for all the
contributions they make

and have made
to societies
and civilizations
They are the

backbone of everything,
produce life and
procreate with abundance
Nurture and care

for all others.
Are unselfish, forgiving,
understanding and
beacons of light

They are educated
and highly enlightened
A pleasure to be around.
God Bless Them!

Premium Member Lay off lending credit

Lay of lending credit, not make my money mate!
Anyway it’s a service I’m providing that the banks won’t to this date.

Heavy pay back terms but who’s at risk if they can’t pay?
Sob stories from the weak but they signed on the line to take.

Get them to play fair? Not a cat in hells chance you got mate.
Inequality is built into the system and it works for the rich boys every single day.

Lay off lending credit? I agree it’s a cruel, cruel, cruel living mate!
Lay off lending credit? Then who’s gonna lend them money - who’s gonna put food on their kiddies plates?

Premium Member Credit Card

Credit Card

Put it on the credit card but pay it off quick
nothing hurts more than high interest that sticks
If you don't need it but buy it anyway
remember to enjoy it cause brother you will pay.

                                  Morning Pepsi

Drinking a Pepsi to start off the day
make it diet and caffeine free feels okay
That white label Pepsi taste pretty good
drink another just because you could.

                                  Gold Coca Cola

Caffeine and sugar free yes it is diet
taste is indeed golden love to buy it
Drink em guilt free without a buzz
sometimes you want mellow suds.

                                  Old Ford Flex

She got an old Ford Flex it is really big
has up to three rows of seats for all her kids
Long and boxy car reminisce of an old wagon
with road respect for its' size like driving a dragon.

Hope is not
centered on
 unforgiveness

 unforgiveness not
forgiven
 is useless

for I'm in tune to be
 on tune to the one
 who gave me life

We don't give ourselves enough credit - causing our downward spiral to failure

Premium Member A Little Credit Due

What we own ... or what we owe,
Is more than numbers on a balance sheet.
Yet we're often reduced to a figure,
That claims existence before we meet.

So we hustle to settle the score,
    Throughout a lifelong FICO maze.
As if we're a rodent chasing cheese,
Inside a laboratory for untold days.

Within the palace walls of high-finance,
Sit bespectacled guru's towards our fate.
Crunching numbers next to our dreams,
    While reaching limits, forever late.

This reality forms an economic backbone,
Allowing for judgement and eternal debt.
While we struggle & reach for something better,
A gratuitous path might extend some extra credit.

Taking Credit

It’s amazing what can be accomplished if you don’t care who takes the credit. What kind of amazing things do you think could get done if Congress and our President decided that it did not make a difference which party got the credit. Perhaps if they can’t figure it out on their own, they should just post a survey on Facebook. After all, we were pretty good at choosing if we wanted Team Edward or Team Jacob. But then again, past elections tell a different story.

                                         I want it my way
but you must have it your way
                                       why not flip a coin

Premium Member Credit Where Credit Is Due

Anxiety increases as Christmas draws near
Kids may not get what they asked for, they fear,
It’s presents holding them rapt, not good cheer
Santa shows disinterest, he has another beer
‘Tis Mrs. Claus stretching the budget this year.

Premium Member Giving Credit Where Due

I am so grateful that you read me and opine
On unique thoughts and ideas I claim mine
But I must be honest and humbly confess
I often lift your ideas to concoct this mess.

Give God the Credit

GIVE GOD THE CREDIT
Give God the credit for all things good,
Give God the credit, you know you should.
Even though you may create a poem
Or plant a garden or make a home,
It's God who gave the skill to you
In every single thing you do.

You may play a harp with flare,
Or plant and mold with special care.
Perhaps your hands have nursing skills
Or your repair a need fulfills.
No matter what God gives you to do,
Give all the praise to Him--not you.

So, if you want to thank your friends,
Remind them of the love God sends.
Encourage to give thanks to Him,
For He has given skill to them.
God gave us brains, He gave us brawn,
Let's praise His name and not our own.

Premium Member Kim Takes Full Credit

Kim’s decorations for fall are always straight out of a magazine
The rest of us visit her house and exclaim over her decisions.
Her parents are decorators, and I believe they help her with this.
She claims it is all her own idea, but no one buys it.
Because she is not a put together woman in any other area of life.
Her clothes do not match, her hair is a mess, and she looks dowdy.
Her house is impeccable; perfecto, and it happens while she is at work.
Two cars with Michigan plates are parked at her house for a week.
Her parents lug in bolts of materials, and bags of autumn goodies.
Kim takes full credit, and we let her because we adore her.
But we all know better.
