Coward of the Meltdeck
Far out across the distant hills, the angry sky sparked red,
A violent shade of violet as thunder woke the dead.
Pitch-black against the midnight sky, the clouds lost all control,
Unleashing all the fury of the heavens down below.
I skirted from the warehouse to the safety of the melt,
Before the marbles poised as raindrops and cooler air were felt.
From the safety of the black dirt and heat from yesterday,
I gazed upon my heaven's wrath, afraid to look away.
The storm outside kept raging on, the foundry windows shook,
Until the coward of the meltdeck dared a second look.
And just as quickly as it came thundering into town,
The wrath of heaven disappeared, and quiet settled down.
I softly thanked my Lord for such an ominous display,
And then I thanked Him once again for taking them away.
Its always aches,
when it becomes too late.
When you finally realized,
those and things you forsake.
And now,
like a coward,
I yearn for eternal rest,
rather than walk this journey alone,
without true.
left to wrestle with fading thoughts,
of unkept promises.
I slip into the void of this endless black hole,
of what might have been,
goes on to be forgotten,
where unreleased words
and wandering feelings of love,
gets relinquished,
into the forever what if.
Lost love seeps from curling words
into a floundering bloodstream flow of tears, sketches echos through the heart.
For it is your acidic tongue drips venom,
and only God holds the serum
to cure the Scars of the dark.
I wrote about you before.
You and your maybes.
Everything about you making me so dam unsure of myself.
Yet also so sure?
I was delusional.
Idealistic.
Overtly hopeful.
I thought those inboxes meant something more.
I thought that for some stupid reason I was special?
But then I turn around.
And you’ve ran to someone else.
What a coward.
I’m sorry, it’s the truth.
You are nothing but a coward.
But… who cares?
I certainly don’t.
You can go about doing whatever.
I think everything I thought of came through.
And man, I can’t wait for that 10 year reunion.
Not because I want to see YOU.
But because I want to SEE you.
Because you may go around and round all of us.
But one thing remains clear.
Nothing will come of it.
Because of what you are.
And because of everything that can be.
Good luck!
As for me, I am enlightened.
The real coward has removed and has turned off my polite comments
On his lying writings, so I published my comment: Evil Killers
I cling like a coward to Life —
My sparrow -- won't leave the Eave —
Not for the Bread — not for the Air —
That dares me -- in You to Believe —
The Day is a precarious thing —
Balanced -- on its narrow Beam —
I hold it — as the dew holds Light —
Afraid to wake up from the Dream —
Courage is a distant Hill —
It looks like Home — from here —
Yet my small Hands prefer the stray Path
That keeps the Thunder near —
So when the Night inquires my Name —
I answer — with my silver Thread —
And stitch myself to Morning’s Hem —
Because — I am not dead —
The coward
Hiding in the shadows
Waiting, watching always hiding
Never standing
Always lurking.
The victim
Always unexpectedly grabbed
Pulled into the shadows
Too afraid to run from the coward
Fear so contagious until …
A light begins to shine into the darkness
Strength begins to grow
Just a trickle then a flow
The warrior stands
The coward hides
The warrior standing tall
The Light getting brighter
The coward goes into the shadows
deeper
The warrior discovers the light is within
The coward screams
The warrior turns and looks behind
Other victims are following close
Following the Light into freedom
A roar can be heard softly at first
Then a mighty roar is resounding through the land
The victims run in freedom
Never looking back
Cowards hide
Gathering like jackals
Waiting, laughing and trembling in fear.
Coward
I have endowed mind
Singing my mantras' anthems
To God for being kind
Time has plans beaten
Yet daring mind chooses win
Of defeats sweeten
Morrow announced loss
What today wish to begin
Shared yesterday's cross
Through pain and not gain
Because of the lane followed
Induce dew to rain
Processes skipped
Makes battling smartness swallowed
Wisdom well equipped
I am such coward
Whose heartbeats state cool problems
Which ain't empowered
Faded scope with tag
Scaring away cold warning
With oaths to fly flag
Of everyday's sigh
How to seize courage mourning
Hope to flying high
With the strings of bliss
Who have grown from their mistakes
Shunt regret's abyss
Than watch people's view
On how much faded loss stakes
Out of aging blue
Hang your head in shame:
kept quiet in the face of injustice
~ the lingering taste of cowardice

You made me Dauntless
Part of me is half full and empty
Like a right-handed person trying to be lefty
Trying to scribble down the chaotic memory
Of the hurt I got from ignoring me totally
I try to break my own rules and standards
‘Cause I thought you’re the ace in a card
I dive too deep into the false hope reward
I just realized that you are a real coward
Late-night talks and calls are useless.
You changed instantly and left me clueless.
I threw away the feelings too effortlessly
It made me confident, braver, and dauntless
I’m fed up with trying to make things keep going
It’s you who stops holding and believing
I’ll never let myself fall again for nothing
‘Cause often looks and words are deceiving
Mallard,
the coward
Was all dressed
and showered
And Howard
was his name
So, you see!
That,
Howard,
the coward
When all dressed
and showered
Was still just
a mallard
To me!
He took the coward’s way out
Over and over they flout.
Only those who tried to end
Can comprehend the blend.
For truly committing to no return
Is rooted in constant yearn.
Trying to cross the other side
Requires the loss of pride.
The irony of being a suicide
Is the longing to survive.
The burning desire to be loved.
Hope simply caught in rope.
Killing women and children
Is absolutely unacceptable
Executing sick and old men
Is obviously low and despicable.
You can make countless speeches
You can invent endless excuses
Slaughtering so many is genocidal
Hurting so many can never be justifiable.
The world is now less peaceful and civilized
A cease fire is long overdue and warranted
This is barbaric; too many leaders are demented.
When will decency and humility be exercised?
Lies won’t fly, because they have no visible wings
This is horrific; too many have blood on their hands.

You’re a coward to look forward
Its much safer to look back
I’m a coward too, cause onward
My world looks a bit too black
Like a mid December evening
Waits behind my entrance door
I don’t know what to believe in
You're not there anymore
Coward
Talk about people behind their backs
Instead of in front of their faces
Spend all your time in a lonely place
Searching for hiding places
Too scared to stand up for yourself
Too proud to depend on others
Too bold to stand beside other people
Too independent to even claim your own brothers
Smile in their face, but laugh behind their backs
Is the way you go on living
Mad if people don’t forgive you with the quickness
Knowing you yourself isn't the least bit forgiving
Too narrow-minded to consider other people's feelings
Too stubborn to admit when you take things too far
Too stupid to think you’re God’s gift to the world
When a coward is what you really are
Garad is big nose coward and big mouth behind walls on rocking chair
