Premium Member Billion-Watt Smiles

Dad came to see me play a game.
I hit a homerun first time he came -
must've flew a mile -
million dollar smile.

Dad and I didn't stop
till we reached the mountain top
where we could see ten miles -
million dollar smiles.

Converting dollars to kilowatt hour,
given my dad's special power,
smiles were a billion watts -
and, I'd say, that's lots!

I am a creator

Let's play with new things, catching a new approach,
I am happy with bringing new things into the next epoch,
Constructing a method by defining each step as its own coach,
Sitting on its own as a key step because I am doing research.

I am an inventor, I am a researcher, I am a philosopher, I am an innovator,
Converting the knowledge from one to another because I am a converter,
I set the goal to reach the final destination and continue as a path setter,
Moving with no mistakes, no fear, with belief in myself because I am a creator.

Premium Member Changing Life Doesn't Die

As earth
turns to sun
to sweep away
night gown
with broom
of light
unveiling colors
awaking sounds
drinking light
to nurture body
clocked to die
with seasonal fruits
embodying seeds
perpetuating life
so too
the eternal seed
in body of clay
awakened by God
from darkness
of doubt
to truth of Light
converting
from diversion
that needs refill
which death
cannot kill
or its hunger fill
turning to God
immortal spring
opens day
with colors of graces
beautifying it
with gems of kindness
and sparkles of tears
turned to joy
nourishing self
and hungry other
with ever present
fruits of love
leaving night
of cocoon habits
to fly on wings
of rainbow lights
love perfecting
everchanging
never ending
Paradise

Premium Member Nourished

I’ve grown sick of happiness. It’s sugar, candy for drunken children

I wince at wholesomeness. It’s flour, dry and tasteless as life itself

I’ve never loved the truth. It’s salt, melting my innocent snow

There is a cancer in consequence. Like yeast, converting me at gunpoint

Romance is fickle, fleeting. Like butter, such a slippery slope

And yet it all comes flying in like karma from out of left field

We swallow it down whole like fresh bread from heaven

and survive to see another moment as fine as this one

Front To Back

Controlling
the language
Controlling
the power
Defining
tomorrow
With words
of today

Converting
the juncture
Converting
the instant
Defining
the moment
With all
that you say

Blessing
your loved ones
Blessing
your enemies
Cursing
the liars
Redeeming
the lost

Asking
new questions
Asking
 for answers
Loving
the value
In spite of
— the cost

White Hole

White Hole (c) 2025 by Russ Dodson

You are the massive white hole at the center of my soul,
ever giving, never exhausted,
fulfilling all the needs I never even knew I had,
just as I reflect back the things that you desire or need.

When you speak my name love, somehow I always know.

My love for you? Expanding like our private universe;
we swallow and consume all errant starstuff within reach,
converting mass to energy (E=MC squared)
from which then are created endless swirling galaxies,
that in turn reflect back to the cosmos
the glorious beauty of our sacred souls.

No mere black hole could ever stand a chance.

She, who had seemed my sun some bygone time,
feels now much icier than even far
forsaken pluto’s sunless hemisphere.
Please! reckless Universe! enable rhyme

to unriddle unreason’s paradigm!
—The frozen side of the sun!—What bizarre
world bears such contradiction? Bringing near
fire and frost? both deform eachother’s frame!

And so: she never was my flame—nor now
my glacial winter—.No, she simply was
a human hurting, a someone hurting
me.—a cornered creature caught converting
an inward chatter(,adisconcertingbuzz,)
whichever way her body would allow.

              **************

I swapped worry for a searing abyss
a painter brush colorizes gold fields
converting me into an orange butterfly
with shiny peach strokes, sealing my kismet

my raw life spreads wings
a cool breeze carries me on a winter sleigh
my bones feel cold and long for warmth
I await spring with bated breath.

for honeyed nectar, I dance overhead
my veins carry a sweet elixir
I waltz for my dream woman
seeking her by midsummer rains

my agile limbs flickered and flitted
I view a peony patch visitor
a sexy female fritillary with elegant curves
a challenge awaits, but I'll earn her love

Third World Urbanize Mind

Where are the bamboo
Banana husk, dad's stone chair
Mom's vegetable pots.

Where are the rice fields
Peanuts, peas, potatoes
Corn, cassava, sweet and tamarind.

Where is my childhood place
I look for every sunset
Just look out at the simpliest things.

Now I have to fill up everything
To open up the road, open everything else
Why I am not happy at all.

This is the progress you said
Converting farmland to townhomes
Why choose the mountain anyway.

My heart breaks seeing greediness
Easy money dislocating happiness
On the lowly and the unprotected.

How long avarice living the land
Of simple living hide in the sun
God forbade how small conscience is.

Is urbanization answer loophole minds
In the lowland of wizardry breed
Is this what Third World country thinks.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR CLEANSING AND HEALING US

October 4 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Matthew 8-10

Key Verse – Matthew 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR CLEANSING AND HEALING US

Praise be to God for cleansing and healing us from our:
Frustration-futility toward His forgiveness
Filthiness-fever toward His fellowship
Fret-faltering toward His faithfulness
Foulness-flu toward His fruitfulness
Fear-flight toward His freedom

Matthew 9:22 Praise be to the Lord for comforting us:
Challenging us with His call of courage
Caring for us by His compassion-calmness
Correcting and chastising us by His counsel
Converting us along His command for change
Cheering us amidst our consecration-cleansing

Matthew 10:37 Praise be to the Saviour
for enabling us to love Him more than:
Position, propped by provisions
Possessions, propelling prosperity
Preferences pretending to be precious
Priorities against His precepts and principles
Progress in our passionate prized performances. Amen!

Premium Member Endless Faith

He loved me enough to sacrifice His life upon a cross,
Offering me salvation so my life wouldn’t be a loss.

He provided the way for me to be saved eternally,
Changing both my heart and soul, converting me internally.

He listened to all my fears and wiped away my tears,
Protecting me from the darkness of doubt that despairs.

He welcomed me to speak to Him, answering my prayers,
Sometimes sending His angels to me – angels unawares.

He broke the heaviest chains that held me to my sins,
Reminding me that grace is where He always begins.

He silenced the temptations that sometimes tore me down,
Pulling me from the murky past where I thought I’d drown.

He sought me with His grace and love, stirred my heart to believe.
With Him, there is no doubt of the joy that will relieve.

He never lets the shadows destroy my faith and love.
Forever, He is with me – the answer from above.

Jesus will never leave the ones who He saves from this realm.
He brings a peace that assures no grief will overwhelm.

Heavy Heart

Carrying the heaviness of Earth inside heart
Oh!!! God why this human race is so harsh?

Birds dying, nature crying
But the humans are flying

Is this a development?
Where every single minute one of the pillar of humanity is devastating

Selflessness converting into selfishness
Empathy converting into apathy

Can't this world be again evolutionised?
Can't we erase this so called development and growing memory from people's mind?

What would be the fate of beauty of Nature?
Will it fade? Will it be destroyed?

What would be the future, will there not be any trees ,flowers greenary present?
Will this whole world would be mere a giant terrible structure of buildings???

converting the pain

that sugar-coated suffering
was once only bitter pain,
the poetry you turned it into - gave it sweetness.

Premium Member Women's World Cup 2023 - Comp

It's a ball and you kick it
Seems simple enough
But it's more than a game
'cos you have to be tough

I'm not talking a buzz-cut
Or some scars from a fight
For this resolve is internal
Overlook it, you might

You may cuss, scowl or spit
That doesn't impress
Now this game's claimed by women
Swapping shorts from a dress

And the girls that will follow
In their thousands for sure
In competitive joy
This old game has it's cure:

It is teamwork and faith
It is laughter and tears
It is training like crazy
It is banishing fears

There's never been greater
A reason or rhyme
To describe this potential..
Ladies - this is your time

For the men have inspired us
Reaching dizzying heights
But the women converting
So many wrongs into rights

Take tenacity, love
Add a wholesome respect
Work ethic unriveled
With the fans they connect

Crossing boundaries, restoring
All that seemed far apart
The game has been longing for
This feminine heart
