Terminal Analysis

No matter the subject or topic
tho' it may burn will I ever learn
would it hurt if my lips were to close
as whatever I submit suggest propose
she will be myopic
nay-say gainsay contradict oppose
may as well hold my breath
as every word I utter
receives the kiss of death
and melts in my mouth like butter
should I assert it's what she does it's her wont
'No I don't,' is her depiction
in contentious rebuttal
thereby confirming my conviction
and morning noon and night
she'd like to be I'll also mention
tho' none too subtle
the epicentre of my attention
is it a female thing or only her compulsion
for at the end of the day
it's not the last word she wants
it's the final say

My lips began to tremble,
And then my voice began to shake.
From my eyes, tears did fall;
Inside, I feel my heart break.

The pain this is causing is harsh;
It has dropped me down on my knees.
Through pain and tears, I beg you

Paranormal Tales

Once upon a time in Dothan, Alabama 
During my after-My Mother's grandmother's 
Funeral,  It was a cold long night I began to
hear strange noises loud sirens, dogs barking 
And howling uncontrollably. 

The next event that happened was a brisk
wind that blew the door wide open. Paranormal 

A clear image of a male figure in spiritual form
appeared before my eyes that bypassed me.

The Spiritual image went inside the bedroom as
he sat on the bed next to his wife. Paranormal 

Now I'm trying to explain to the adults in the room
what I just witnessed of course they're all in
disbelief hearing this from a 12-year-old.

I began to plead with the adults and I described his
appearance,  now they're saying go to bed, then I
heard some say I think she saw him. Paranormal 

I could hear conversations once I left the room
confirming what I saw in the spiritual form.

Nostalgia

Have lost so much of what had remained in me 
I used to have beautiful thoughts and nice poems 
Read deep books , wished to die 
Wrote wrote and wrote just to stay alive 
Now I think I am in love
Now I think I stay drunk
To accept who I am
Now I think  what I am 
I have l lost what I could 
The genius is dead
My spirit is lost 
Spiritus Mundi abandoned my ass
Looking at my account 
Confirming I have enough 
I can't even starve in peace
I can't even love for free 
I have drowned in this world
I have accepted defeat 
I have accepted to eat 
This is the end 
I have tried to be me 
I have fought to be 
But still I have ended up where I was told
Over educated 
Over frustrated 
Overcompensating 
Waiting for 40 years 
Just to stay dead
That chapter is closed

mind skin

My friend is restless in their current mind skin
he's seeking a connection to something
searching for deeper meaning to everything
he's dabbling in mind expanding psychedelics
claiming the trips have been life confirming

I'm cheering for him but concerned
that with this subjective expansion
there'll be an impending objective contraction 
kneading his mind into unrecognizable.

A Bully

Will put his face in your face
Thinking it's a race
Who can be tougher

Is it worth it when you travel

Seems like Covid and vacations,

After flying home from Paris,
People sneezing on the plane,
I felt tired, but the reason
Could have choices to explain.

Is it jet lag? Is it Covid?
Well, I took a swab-type test
And in fifteen minutes – Voila!
Just confirming what I’d guessed.

So I’m stuck at home with Covid,
But I really do not know,
If this outcome was for certain,
Would I’ve chosen then to go?

It Is Not Your Time

Saturday, wouldst be Sadder Day
nineteen seventy-five
purple skies dusk twilight display
friend and I, still alive

Sleepyheads, car seats unbuckled
Russian roulette enroute
shut eyes refused a wakeup call

Squirming confirming not our time
go get out while you can

After the Flood

Mount Ararat holds a testament

and science is confirming the reality
of God's Judgment and His mercy.

The Drogue Stones[6] bear the witness to Noah's great adventure,
The Turks placing tourist signposts[7]
so we may walk the footsteps 
of Noah and his progeny.

With gentle hearts and mindful eyes, we see;
the two together are our guarantee
to meld our vision's stark reality
with deep-down heartfelt feelings that agree.

By heart alone, decisions oft are made
to end with outcomes that were not conveyed
by eyes that lift that true confirming shade

Song of The Multicolored Malay Lacewing Butterfly No 11: ABBA

Tropical Impressionist ascenders,
colorist defenders were everywhere,
Multicolored Malay Lacewings ... there,
added ambiance to the fanfare years,
the species are restricted to forest
reserves due to its flowering host plant,
Adenia's, in the regions, cate's length,
colors change, sociable, pupae process,
soon a new adult emerges and mates,
confirming progressions of the species.
Unique to Asian Isles in the Southeast,
black, white, yellow, red, bluish saturates.
Monet at a distance would have caught flight,
colorful butterflies, shadow's midst light.

It’s a confirming statement 
Nobody saw the first plane
There is a puncture in wall 
A visible cut out of a plane 
But where is that  plane ?
Did it penetrate       Thru
The tower            Cutting 
Steel        And   Concrete
Drilling a hole like a punch
Plausible. Still is on the TV
Screaming News channels 
A Plane Has Hit  The WTC
But nobody saw that plane
Only A  punctured cut out -
On a steel n concrete tower
Clean cut out clear outlines
Tower is smoldering within
There is no soot on exterior
On screen enters into frame
A plane which is called 2nd
It hits the wall and explodes
Exploded parts then vanish;
Or do they melt in explosion
In either case there is doubt
2nd plane does not cut thru
As the unseen first one did !
1st punctures 2nd explodes
There is no trace of second
There is no trace of first too
Where are those people who
Were supposed to be in these planes

When Doves Cry

Our heart bled tears, confirming our worst fears,
that estranged from our lover, our soul died.
As the coffin dropped, we felt leers and jeers
of both friend and foe, of true love denied.

As was the custom, we bore a fake smile,
acknowledging kind words to us proffered
but all we felt was, bitter taste of bile,
finding no solace, in limp hands offered.

As a soulless ghoul, we wander the earth,
although to the bigots we seem alive
but now we’re bereft of love, light and mirth,
hoping that one day, heart’s joy may revive.
