For The Contest, “Heart Gentle, Eye Mindful"

With gentle hearts and mindful eyes, we see;
the two together are our guarantee
to meld our vision's stark reality
with deep-down heartfelt feelings that agree.
By heart alone, decisions oft are made
to end with outcomes that were not conveyed
by eyes that lift that true confirming shade
so heart and sight- in balance are displayed.
With eyes alone, false imagery- the cost
in an illusion that is sometimes tossed
by surfaces that are quite often crossed
to end an opportunity that's lost.
The two together are our guarantee;
with gentle hearts and mindful eyes, we see.
