I am a joyful Conservative!
I wonder what heaven is really like.
I hear misty, fog horns in my dreams.
I see great beauty in all animals.
I want to be able to walk.
I am a joyful Conservative!
I pretend that I can dance.
I feel inner peace and completion.
I touch clouds in my dreams.
I worry about nothing.
I am moved by a newborn’s smile.
I am a joyful Conservative!
I understand there is nothing wrong with the climate.
I say, that America,is the best place to succeed in.
I dream about my blessed childhood.
I am on the cusp of writing classical poetry.
I hope I go to heaven, when I pass.

I have so much love to share
that I wouldn't write it in a common poem
classical poetry, epic poem
You stood by me through thick and thin.
In days when few comments, were coming in.
You saw in me a poet, possible.
That belief from you, made things, accessible.
Grand talent you are, so very unappreciated.
For you, I wish the best, so poetically educated.
Happy Birthday special friend.

Mistaken educators, mindlessly think,
His golden pen was filled with racist ink?
Cancel culture, at its utmost worst,

I love, love to write poetry, period!
I can find tons of inspiration, myriads!
A Muse? I have none, and no dappled unicorn either.
Poets might declare, oh my, she has a fever?
Both Muse and unicorn~ as helpful as egg beaters.
Or lovers who are just plain cheaters!
Just get strong coffee, my pen, great music and paper.
Add a lifetime of experiences and my time in theater.
Drama, joy, comedy, sorrow, what more do I need?
I start writing, it foments a grand ocean of speed.
Ah, yes to learn that divine art of true classical poetry.
You see, my friends, my poetic road is carved out for me!

Even though churches are darkened!
Hold onto your beliefs....
Even though youtr children are taught God does not exist!
Hold onto your beliefs...
Even when lies and fear cover this earth.
Hold onto your distinct American values...
Even when totalitarianism is all around you.
Hold on to classical poetry and it's metrical beauty,,,
Even though the push to pen one liners, sounds like a duty.
Hold on to your dignity, find others just like you...
Even though your positions don't match compatriots about you.
Hold on you will find a place with true respect...
Even though, you may not know where that is , just yet!

If leaves in summer failed to fade,
they’d garner nary an accolade
when autumn brushed the hills and dales,
and Jack Frost whistled storms and gales.
Ice Kings would genuflect in awe,
while vainly winter’s storms would claw,
and flowers withering would fold
in anguish from the bitter cold –
yet all the while and all the when
the earth would tuck its bowers in,
embellishing this brilliant scene
with landscapes swathed in Irish green.

Each day the sunrise voice whispers softly:
"Panagiota, reach for your pen!"
I resist and huddle under plaid winter covers
just wishing this voice would please, hush!
Are their no soul plugs for our lyric souls?
My creaking bones want to sleep but my heart
whispers, "Oh, nay, rise thee!"
So, I give into these craven feelings to write.
Hobble to my sweet kitchen, with my body in
resistance, yet making French coffee, even so.
I can write, is about all I can do, as my eye strength
and very slow typing prevent me from commenting
to my sweet friends, Do not think, I am ignoring you.
I have goals, as you, and I do post regularly.
That is....if well I can see!
A much better poetess, I so desire to become.
So learning classical poetry is my goal.This will take time.
Please bear with me in my soul?
May love and forbearance for all, be our goals.
May Angels inspire you and your God guide you!

Here's my first attempt*
Dedication to an Anonymous Poet
Brilliant, so very loving and
supportive as can any be!
Humble yet attacked and avoided?
As he knows too much classical poetry?
Yet, he's the captain of his own
poetic stars and ship!
Not here climbing the popularity tree.
Nor in contests will you find him.
No, most infrequently.
A most loving man, this poet be.
A master to learn much from, on
subjects, very deep.
I salute this poet, he knows life and has
overcome strife.
He wears a crown of poetic knowledge!
If only with such brilliance I could
pen!
Just grateful and very humbled,
To have him as my friend.
