She still phones, though not to me.
I imagine her small-talking,
see her walking to the local shops with a mutual friend
who sometimes phones me just to ask
if she has phoned yet?
Birds chatter on wires,
groundhogs go to bed deep under the hedgerows,
I hear them snoring
just like she remembers me snoring in her ear.
We speak often like that -
no backchat.

I own one but really despise it
call me old fashioned
but there's a good reason behind it.
Years ago, my daughter's girl scout pal
dropped her cell phone in the road
she quickly turned to retrieve it
oblivious to the car approaching.
At the wake there was mental carnage
permanent grief and complete devastation.
I own one but that's why I despise it.

A push-button blood alarm
scans the receptivity of softly ticking ears.
It is the ever-wakening
never snoozing
internet jungle calling.
Fasting birds as large as velociraptors
insist on being called parrots,
a raucous conversation hardly heard
as it filters through
3-D printed flugelhorns.
A cell awakes vibrates within an ear socket
demanding its early morning diaper change.
Little silver bells are clanging,
A sub-audial cacophony of eager voices
discharging their erotically-charged salvos
Devices cry to be fed.
Now subliminal texts tattoo
a finger pulsing moment.
Thumbs are itching to be mugged, in-plugged,
abused in a bath of warmed-over news.
The scaly parrots are now too loud to hear,
we are near
our minds nailed to a printing block
and tapping impatiently
as reality is swiped this way and that.
The racetrack is galloping,
white rabbits are being
yanked out of top hats so rapidly
we can only blink our replies
in a hand-held, wide-eyed chameleon sky.

Sometimes I teeter on the brink
Have difficulty getting along, I think,
Definitely lost and frighteningly alone
Without my ubiquitous cellular phone.
Once upon a time, so long ago,
I could freely come and go
But now I'm a prisoner and so alone
Without my ubiquitous cellular phone.
I remember when I would come and go
My machine would pick up friend and foe
But now I dare not leave my home
Without my ubiquitous cellular phone.
When I reach for that little black gadget
And find it missing from its usual pocket
I panic and break out in a sweaty groan
Without my ubiquitous cellular phone.

He spoke to me and I
felt his words
on the back of my neck
as near as a sunburn,
yet I dared not look at him.
He sat closer than I was comfortable
yet I could not move away
my heart beating – a timpanic vibration,
emblem of mortality
which left me breathless.
The sun shrouded in afternoon clouds
a small disc of celestial music
was nothing but mute gospel.
There was no savior watching
over me and no forgiveness
for the sin of being available.
I danced with an invisible partner.
Until I grew, I knew only the
daily news of his breath
on the back of my neck.

I just figured it out!
After I got new one
Why people spent long time on mobiles!?
They are learning new features in that device,
And recalling how they did the other night thing!
So fast "touch move"
And updating stuffs

specks affect our view
and vision of life is altered -
events happen in ticks
smallest particles
unceasingly replicates -
time is perpetual
in whatever size
all that matters make impact –
truth remains unchanged

( Hitlers)
Nations joyously
celebrate independence.
No freedom yet
from shrouded Hitlers.
Chairs they behove
vindictive and corrupt.
Servile prostrate before
tyrannical eye.

Touch down, real-time, its necessary!
Can't hit reality without it,
A substitute for face-to-face.

I’ve no real thoughts on
cellular reality
so I google it
on the internet
cellular reality
leads to John Goodsir
reading what I can
about John Goodsir’s theory
I cannot grasp it
I’m a dim light bulb
when it comes to this subject
I should just discuss cell phones
unfortunately
neither do I understand
my own small cell phone
I recall one thing -
that on a daily basis
we are losing cells
one more thing I know -
the sun can burn my skin cells. . .
that’s reality!

Human cells are wired
to talk and meet face to face-
now we have wireless
Invisible wires
hold us hostage by new cells-
from technology
