New Cellular Reality

Human cells are wired
to talk and meet face to face-
now we have wireless

Invisible wires
hold us hostage by new cells-
from technology

Sandra, oh so true, lost without that cell phone, wonderful write for the contest, 7 and thanks so much for visiting my poem, Cabin . . . hopefully I will finish that ending in another contest soon, I sort of love how I left it hanging . . . what did she see in that doorway of the cabin?

Thank you for your nice comment, Broken. Yes, don't know what any of us would do without our cell phones! But, there are problems they have caused too. Can't wait to read the sequel to your Cabin poem!! Hugs, Sandra

I like your clever take on this topic, Sandra! I always managed not to become hostage to mobile phones, but as far as internet is concerned I have been on the losing end! #7 // paul

Hi Paul, thank you for stopping by with your positive comment and support. Yes, for sure we cannot do without our wonderful technology in this modern age. But, there are drawbacks for sure! Thanks again, Sandra

You'll never cell me this idea Sandra lol, but I guess it's something we just have to accept. Hey, we'd have no soup without it. As you say it's the new reality. Good luck in the contest, I really like this and hope it does well. Take care Richard

Thank you for visiting my poem, Richard, and for you nice comment. Yes, it would be difficult to live now without our amazing technology. But, most of us know we have become "hostage" to it in so many ways, especially our young ones. Thank for the good luck wishes for the contest. Sandra

Your word choices are clever, descriptive, and imaginative giving life to this poem. I enjoyed the premise and the skillful manipulation by the author to lead you to a inner plateau of self awareness. Emile.
