Easy to entrance the sycophants watch their helpless dance their back and forth swaying and swooning, in cunnilingual somniloquence.
Droning and drooling with flattering and fawning, turgently swelling, spouting placating pleasantries, a mess of gushing adulation.
Self exultation, craving congratulation by consensus for another conventional sensation, clamouring for congratulation in lurid inflated infatuation.
Curtailing castigation, striving in strides as pedestrian asperation gives rise to typical inspiration, stillted it saunters soulessly, provoking predicable platitudes.
Dreary dedication denoting the humdrum and the ho-hum, tirelessly tiring, offering effortlessly banal bestowments bequeathing a tepid tranquillising testimonial.
Uniform, unchanged, unilateral applause, amplifying abysmal analogies, articulating dearth depictions of derivative denotations.
Cryptic quips collapse carelessly caused by cumbersome correlating contradictions, deviating detrimentally forth fatuous flutterings.
Stale sentiment, sterile superfluous suppositions, garishly guilded in grandure,
Repetitious rudimentary ruminations, repackaged and retold.

Repristination of our nation
calls for hours of restoration.
Political powers hold their station
in hopes of that next election elation,
glad of their occupation
though to us it is agitation.
Perhaps we can find a situation
wherein we voice our refutation
of their personal preoccupation,
without instigation
or castigation.

A finch
Caged in a corner
Of the living room
Never allowed to sleep
on it’s own
Without having to endure
the noise
Beckoned
Whenever you
had to get the song
Out of your drink
A stream of castigation
Flowed from the bottle
If it dared to refuse
The voice you missed
from yourself
Claim it as yours
So your friends could go along
Say that you taught it
so well
Leaving your
son in the cage
So long as
you could hear it
Was that all
I was?

Clear cut clarity colored Claire’s comprehensions
Complicated complex constructs couldn’t compete or compute
Complacent confidence completed controlled conceptualizations
Claire controlled, contorted, challenged, confronted and chastised
Coworkers, cousins, and colleagues conflicting comprehensions.
Capable, confident, and constant, she was clearly consistent.
Her complacency and constancy to conservation was crazy.
Kept her continually in a cataclysmic circular cell of corrupted castigation.

The protests are written from the busy pen
of the one whose thoughts are quite driven
yet she cries "foul" like a rumple feathered hen
when the thoughts of another are simply given
Her name-calling ploy is such a childish game
for each one of us has the right to our opinion
without castigation and a finger pointing blame
I'm not a vengeful person, nor a poet's minion
I don't seek attention as a clown or a witch
I've not slandered anyone with my remarks
My fastballs are always thrown as a legal pitch
I'm vaccinated so I don't fear mad dog barks
Social equality is as much mine as it is yours
I've the right to write or speak what I feel
without giving a wedgie to someone's drawers
I'm not vicious like you called me in your spiel
You want to dwell in sorrow for the human race
but I have hope for mankind and will not brood
Our differences will never allow for an embrace
but only one of us illustrates the right attitude

At the verge of parched tears arrested in fear
Kim was enveloped by morbid sadness
Enshrined in her prison cell and stiletto in hand
tension rose on the surface buried inside
A cutting edge waiting to act upon visceral gloom
called for incisive bloodletting action
One life one laceration away from cliffhanging lightening
small visceral droplets engulfed a low rising soul
No morning dew on mournful contempt and self-castigation
cast out into casket's nails of grave conclusion
Ready to push one final dagger into her heart she wished
for terminal silence composure and freedom
She stumbled and was once more washed away
into guilt failure anger and endless void
Thunder and fire bolts turned into hail storms
‘Hallowed be thy name and forgive me’
Heavy crystals pelted her skin and frosted her soul
moulded a foundering slip on treacherous slope
Kim fell on her self-imposed dagger in the thawing of time
and woke up in a raindrop and the bubble could burst

Catharsis
Cataracts of delusion have served cancerous purpose
Camouflage of disrespect is consequently crumbling
Cascades are waiting to be embraced in compassion
Curious rapids appear on the craving inner horizon
Contamination of self wants out of prison cells
Control over defences has outlived their cage
Caution is carefully thrown to novel weather’s caress
Castigation no longer conceals cunning catacombs
Contemplation sets the agenda for change
Culmination turns crisis into self-caring needs
Catharsis flows to new curvature’s coastline
Come on board the canopy of confident candour
Calm waters contain after turbulent storms
Catharsis is painful yet it crushes closed circuits

My guitar was my respite,
My solace and identity
Without it I fell,
So lonely and empty,
If only you were here,
To evaporate my tears,
I would be whole again,
And able to endure this castigation,
For all of eternity.

Let us put on humility,
Even being on center stage;
Remain meek and modest amid
Honor, glory, praise, and prestige.
Meekness may elicit picture
Of someone saying 'I was wrong';
Or one telling 'I need help' from
A certain group he does belong.
Yes, it brings into mind of one
Not expecting royal treatment;
Remaining lowly and humble,
Even if he is prominent.
It further raises one's image
Of putting others' concern first;
Reaching down to other people
From pedestal of interest.
The lowliness leads to wisdom,
While the arrogance to disgrace;
The former ends in accolade,
As the latter in shame of face.
Humility brings wealth and life,
While the ego castigation;
Modesty makes joy and gladness,
As pride puts one in destruction.
Hat in hand truly gains guidance,
As cap on head spawns misery;
Clothe not ourselves with boastfulness,
Let us put on humility.

My death is near
It is sure and certain
That out of this bed
I shall not get!
But
A lot I have to say
Yet
I say so little!
The world I met
In peace
But the world
I strove
To leave in peace!
Peace I see not
As I am departing
Chaos!
War!
Trouble!
Turmoil!
Upheaval!
Hypocrisy!
Fights!
Duels!
Lies!
Deceit!
Crime!
All ending in death untimely!
Poverty!
Revolution!
Suffering!
Cheating!
Castigation!
Mudslinging!
All around the world!
Them I grew in
And they I am leaving
Behind!
I have done mine best
And I am expired!
Tired!
Wasted!
Spent!
Used!
Hence I am going!
But
Cry not for me!
Shed not blood for me!
Nor weep for me!
Rather
Squeeze your best
And make the world
Better than this!
Than I left it...
And
The man died...

As i breathe, in my conquered castle left with no rusty dime
I might be of no value than a stinking body
Lying with no memory in its jagged skull staring moody
Alas! Am still one of em pillar, that holds to kill time.
If you doubt, let the sudden whirlwind sweep me farther
Whether imbalance wouldn't consume my position wither,
Thus if i lag with my friendly mug of palm wine, rolling my kiff-kiff laughter
Do not deposit your tank of lank spit on my face nor my spirit with your tongue,
slaughter.
For, i know, must buy wrapper for the ranting and panting woman, and loaf for the
yelling children
And send kolanut to the neighbouring brethren
But Man must not trespass those gods' barricade
For the stamp of Hierarchy cannot from our Being fade.
Till one is gone, and another rebuilds the fallen Jerusalem
For, creator baked all for a purpose and must not bear castigation emblem.

When We Decorate Our House With Stuff
We Don’t Go Get Nothing Hideous
It’s A Natural, Stage of Selection
To Want To Get As Close, as Can to Perfection
We Pick The Mundane and Ordinary for Elimination
And Plain and Old and Ugly, Suffer Rejection
And We Don’t Even Stop for A Second’s Castigation
‘Don’t You Daydream of The Best in Imagination ?
So, Its True, Blondes, Do Have More Fun
… As Long, as They have Pretty Face and Form
And Redheads Too, Don’t Come In Last …
As Long as Others, Like To Watch Them Pass
Brunettes, Big Eyes, … Chain-Reactions
Its Just The Law of The Jungle-Attraction
… For Me, Its Tall Guys, with Quick Smiles
Maybe Good Biceps … but Indeed, Debonair Style
… and a Light, Brisk Cologne Scent, That Flows
Got Us Women, Lined-Up In Droves
(Make You Wanna’ Go Where They Go …)
‘Cause It’s A Tendency-Superficiality, You Know …

Orange
This now time is a gift to graft a moment
In the mist,
Or how in the midst of circumstance;
Such volatility brews this even stance to render;
balance for the few;
What year is this bleak friend?
You who seeks vibrations from the set,
The top of the refrigerator,
The bottom of the sea?
Where does a deep remorseful dream stir?;
To well up deep within the shuddering silence
Held within; or does a dark wave’s causation meld with
Castigation of one’s doubts.
But in this brilliant sunrise display
all shines,
all smiles,
all cascades from window shade to
Refractive prism’s wonder: Orange.
A vacant stare upon the surface is not required or
Allowed in this kitchen’s staging glory
Palms up I have summoned you,
From my heart,
Welled up through my eyes,
Selective in surprise
to see,
To seek,
To let such majesty seep one blue,
To let this moment stand a sterling gift to you:
Orange.
