Bureaucracy Poems

All decisions are made
at a desk in another country.

They pass through
‘in’ and ‘out’ trays,
collecting signatures along the way.

Then, one day,
they become a concrete wall,

where once a few
tired weeds grew.

She wanted to teach kids, so she went to R.S.U.
Much of it indoctrination, she didn't know what to do
She could walk out and forego her degree
Or play along, hide her views, and be less free

He put his boys in a school, that once was good
But it didn't teach the basics it should
They told his boys

Premium MemberA Better World

Love grows deep within one's heart
Let us all just come together instead of growing further apart
We must not allow hatred to become the norm
Let's send out waves of warmth and happiness to weather the storm
If we all just work together we can make the world a better place
We only have one choice to make for

Bureaucracy

Bureaucracy comes...
But it never seems to go
It brings along attached to it
Endless tales of woe
Copious piles of paperwork
(Mostly useless forms)
And calls that go unanswered
Are typically the norm
You quickly lose your rag
But you know there's no escape
What you need are giant scissors
To cut through that red tape
Petty, mindless officialdom
Drives you up the wall -
It's a bloody

Bureaucracy of Heaven
David J Walker

Lightfall dreams spill
Illuminating waters on
Everything except
Excerpts of canvas lakes
	For which it is meant

While bipartisan saints
spill lyrics on
Every letter mailed
from every failed attempt

of Redactions
From the prayers
of the faithful
		prayer sayers
For which
each candle is lit

God
	Cannot do His job
Without the bureaucracy

A monster now has been set free
in this once land of liberty.
      This 'Frankenstein' divided us
due to the Covid vaccine fuss.

Glib leaders 'round the table sit-
like at a tea party, commit

The Numbers Game

In the end, it was the numbers that did us in.?
They lined us up into military rows and assigned us all numbers?
One after one after one after one after one….?
How many, nobody knows.?
You see, it’s a numbers game, it’s all the same
You’re not to blame, you’re not your name, you’re your numbers.?
Let me explain how

Democracy That Became a Bureaucracy

Democracy That Became a Bureaucracy

What we first discovered was a democracy,
That later became a blatant bureaucracy;
Irritated;
Saturated;
Reason for had been blamed on hypocrisy.

Premium MemberPoetic Thoughts Killed By Bureaucracy

Today I met a storm, and
It washed away my muse,
It left my mind dripping thoughts,
In an ocean, to drown in blues

My tender became too steep,
Became the obedient moan,
Became a ferocious lost “Yes”
That slowly turned to stone.

I’m now a parking violation,
A brief interval in the way,
I’m now a wonderfully weak dot
From a pen to destroy each

Rules are not always rules in a democracy
Governments can get wrapped up in bureaucracy
A simple rule can get twisted
One needs to be assisted
Our brain goes bonkers with the silly hypocrisy

Bundle of rules elongating the short distance between a problem and its solution
Unnecessary layers compulsorily placed on a mounted ladder with very few steps
Road expectedly smooth and direct is created with uneven stones and many bends
Every step is an independent process making the system tiring and liable to corruption
Alternating procedures and changing routes heavily function
