WHERE NO ILLUSIONS DWELL

WHERE NO ILLUSIONS DWELL

My Heart pours out remnants
of nothingness as I create in
                  form from Universes unknown
Union becomes Duality
a dash between birth and death
                   then disappears back
                          to Source from whence it
                                   sprung
       for to remain in form
             is to be captive to
                 space and time

So does Purity only live
              where no illusions dwell
                     in super seconds of no
                         boundaries yet no escape
                   frequencies of freedom fashioned
timidly we taste
                            It remains a shadow we
                                     all chase in our thousand
                    million moments to bring
                       Heaven down to Earth
                               before we are called
back again, back again
                                   bowing
                                        buoyantly !

Work Em

Push 'em, pull 'em, dip 'em, and squat'em.
Whatever you do, just don't neglect 'em

Aptly say no to loose and flabby
And yes, to tight 'cause loose is too shabby

No gym membership, Bowflex, or Peloton?
No worries 'cause pushing, pulling, dipping and squatting
will never be outdone

The mission is to push, pull, dip, and drop
So look good, feel good, and once you start, you're not gonna wanna stop

Walk it out too and allow the arms to buoyantly swing
A nice heel-to-toe flow; now listen to the heart sing

So push 'em, pull 'em, dip 'em, and squat'em.
But whatever you do, just make sure you never forget 'em

Premium MemberOn the Crest of a Wave

On an early morning walk along the shore
I pondered thoughts about the ocean floor
What treasures are buried beneath its sands
Amid corals, anemones, orange sea fans
I wanted a key to unlock the seabed's door

On the crest of a wave, what had been carried
bobbled and lobbed, back and forth parried
from shore and blown across windswept seas
Miles traveled by storms or a tropical breeze
on ocean currents, their journey never tarried

In a shallow tidal pool, a conch was stranded
A gift from Poseidon's hand, I'd been handed
I held the shell to my ear and then listened
awed by the sound while the sun glistened
Waves crested until on the beach they landed

With perfect rhythmic cadence they swelled
on a high tide until its last ripples were felled
Another always followed, close upon its wake
constantly flowing as if it had a thirst to slake
quenched by rushing ashore as if compelled

Buoyantly, bottles drift on the crest of a wave
Directed by the whims of tides, as if a slave
No ebbing waters have ever ferried one to me
I ponder how many notes drowned in the sea,
bottles speared by Neptune. Forsooth, a knave!

Keeping Up With Society

How does an old man as old as me
Keep up with the changes in society

Men can be women, old men can be girls
Pronouns can be mx or they, or hers

Abortion is healthcare through faces proud
Is said by the bearer who echoes the crowd

The word “marriage” has changed from the ancients
Is nothing pure? Is nothing sacred?

Positive and negative no longer are compliments
Now we’re the same cos no need for supplements

Sport now reflects the querying of boundaries
Like robots obeying we are and non-binaried

All whites are oppressive without a choice
Everyone else sings in harmonic voice.

The floodgates opened in 2014
Homosexual marriage the new morphine

All institutions now deceitfully captured
So called progressives buoyantly enraptured

The decline of the west has left me behind
But eternal truth is on my side.

Premium MemberNature Recycles

Nature's the beginning and end of life
Consummate wisdom nature recycles
Summer's zenith fecundity is rife
Orbital spin seasonal revival.

Spring and summer glorious renaissance
Freshly beautiful with colours galore
My heart uplifted a joyful response
Magnificent moments to be adored.

Orbital spin brings autumn and winter
Orange rust debris falls littering ground
Recycled autumn, weather turns bitter
We are riding nature's merry-go-round.

Snow softly falling white landscape relished
Deep winter sleep, nature rejuvenates
Spring will arrive buoyantly replenished
All fate does Mother Nature orchestrate.

Premium MemberSun's Son

Riding the light of a new sunrise
Reflections of the earth
Caressing my soul, my hope
With serenity focused on the heart
Who knows light absorbs imperfections
Breaks apart dreams so they whisper
Kissing cheeks softly, buoyantly

Music silences the heavy warmth
As a new dawn echoes wisdom
Faith binds the hurt, releasing pain
Into the morning, throughout the day
Sunlight climbs toward the azure
Skies who know only praises
Like rainfall saturating the earth
Stirring feelings of grace
Pieces of a faith so amazing
It teases flowers and feelings
With promises of healing, a willingness
To open its eyes to His gifts

Inspired by the sunrise, the hope
Pouring out joy, laughter
Into the moments, the daylight
Sighing as it shades the dreams
In the ultimate peace – the belief

Nothing on earth can quite compare
To the evidence of His life
Stolen by the rising sun revealing the Son!

Premium MemberUpside Down, Inside Out

Hummingbird hardly heard,
airily, merrily
extraordinarily
effortless floating, near
weightless transparency,
seemingly without the
slightest of care.

Urgent persistency,
terribly panicky,
frenzied and frantic, she's
burning through energy
rapidly, hungrily;
precise machinery
executes there.

Mallard so lazily,
buoyantly floating on
glassy flat waters, he
glides on the surface, and
wanders unhurriedly,
conveying contentment,
trivial feat.

Feet like a bicycle
furious pedaling,
splendidly, swimmingly,
chasing and fishing, he's
hungrily hunting and
ready to eat.

October Love

Behind closed eyes, October beautifies
my dreams glazed brightly in woodlands kissed bare,
with winds composing songs in hazel skies.

Our hands entwined, awakened spirits rise
buoyantly through the apple-sweetened air.
Behind closed eyes, October beautifies!

Midst stars, we gather light to mesmerize
a tranquil earth adrift in silent prayer
with winds composing songs in hazel skies.

Songbirds and Autumn breezes harmonize
as we, on wing, glide over moonbeams, fair.
Behind closed eyes, October beautifies!

In scorching summer, how I fantasize
of you and I nestled near ember’s flare
with winds composing songs in hazel skies!

Like children, branches romp with birds midair -
and swirling leaves enchant us ev’rywhere.
Behind closed eyes, October beautifies
with winds composing songs in hazel skies.

Premium MemberYou Do Parkour Upon My Heart

With rhapsodic taps, startling beats
you do parkour upon my heart,
each thump pumping adrenaline
through readily receiving veins.
Keeping us alive with adventure,
you risk falling to oblivion,
thriving to revive priceless treasure.
Buoyantly flipping tricks through breezes,
you suavely sweep heartbeat streets
of villainous intruders,
saving your lady like a caped crusader.
Leaping beyond peaks of gleaming city lights,
your fingers dare reach for the rarest stars,
thumbing through infinity to seek
the uniquely perfect jewel
to piece into the sought mystery key hole
to open my heart's arcade of wonders.

Premium MemberSunny Glitter

In midst of winter cold
Longing for sunny rays
A few minutes
Here and there
Between clouds
Or rare clear days
Just can’t get enough
Hints of glitter
Brimming with life
Glowing with vitality
So dear to us
Making everything
Look gilded precious
And buoyantly optimistic

Anthem For An Introvert

A fitting anthem for
an introvert like me-
Simon & Garfunkel's
scrumptious harmony
of “I Am A Rock”
spoke oodles to me
in its painful poignancy
bouncing buoyantly
on declarations
of independency
needing no one
utterly free
encased in fortress castle
with books and poetry

I was a rock, an island
a party of three
just I, Myself, and Me

Until he came along
and proved me somewhat wrong
as icy waters receded
I found that he was needed
an “island” no more-
I became a sort-of peninsula
with somewhat rocky shores

Yet, sometimes I still hum it
or belt it right out loud
“I Am A Rock”
ever my anthem
away from the peopled crowds!

High Tide

High tide
sadness billows
swells over me in waves
massive, silent, overwhelming
melancholy ocean engulfing me
flailing, drowning in emotion
or maybe I'm being
too dramatic
only-

It feels
that dramatic-
my universe slightly
out of orbit or alignment
something strangely out-of-kilter causing
all things to be thrown off their course
too much wind and pressure
in atmosphere
storms surge

Drifting
on swift currents
rudderless, out to sea
swept toward an isolated
island, far removed from humanity
pulling me farther and farther
from the reality
of what could be
wind-tossed

Landing
on shore, lonesome
building small raft of hope
shoving off at nightfall, to sleep
buoyantly, trusting by morning I'll be
somewhere else- maybe better or
not, but different than
here- can't be worse
I think...

A Hot Lz At Night

A HOT LZ AT NIGHT

Rotors swimming in the air,
my feet towards the skids;
flying fast in darkness.

Pack tight against my body,
one hand for the bird,
one hand for the rifle.

Tracers lazily float upward
feeling the sky for prey,
our sound their only target.

These deadly green fireflies,
green streaks when they pass,
silent in our windy passage.

Darkness hides the bird
from these crisscrossing tracers
hungrily searching our sound.

Charles also has this darkness
and he will use it to catch us
if we can’t quickly slip away.

In this game of hide and seek
to be tagged by the enemy
is a touch of deadly force.

The bird rocks and rotors flair
signalling a leap from the skids;
feet to hit dark unfriendly ground

The darkness our only sanction,
the unseen ground our uncertainty,
unless we can run fast and far.

If they sit quietly and hold the LZ
green tracers will blossom brightly
their sudden much unwanted welcome.

If hit the bird may never lift away
our option stay with the crew;
all this makes for a short patrol.

I often live this nightly madness,
watching buoyantly rising tracers,
playing the odds in our year of fate.

Premium MemberOcean's Child - Looking For Hope In the Past

Submerged echoing whale tests the ocean's depths and width,
Coyote's moonlight call tries to fathom cool reflected light,
Buddhist's breathless "a-u-m," entertains cherry blossom's fall,
Galaxies too, seem to flee their own, seek the "Other,"
That which is more, that which surely must be, for "NOW" to exist,
All creation's just a taste of the inevitable "WHAT IS TO COME!"

Swimming is a word we all have a liquid kinship with,
With or against the tide (upstream or downstream), just water!
Buoyantly we float out of our depth through life on time,
Even our death, not the absolute ending we might aspire to!
If the "Big Bang" seems an implausible origin to many,
How likely is it that death is something that exists in fact?

To Be Inhaled

Micro-particular molecular particles whose properties carry less mass at any given time typically are airborne, only to be respired and absorbed through means of respiration.
Exhaled only to be once again; inhaled.
Trapped inside inner linings of esophageal passages.
Buoyantly escaping; light-like-quick.
Tumbling like a cyclonic feather.
Blue rays with ultrasonic transfers of unconditional compromises shine light on this symbiotic shrubbery.
Rif-raf relief is a resulted byproduct or so-called "nuisance dust."
Unequivocal numeric figures comparable to such matter, couldn't positively identify with no such indication.
The previous possession will remain under further investigation.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Tumbling airborne once being transferred or transformed.
De-composition turns flesh into bone, leaving behind symbiotic shrubbery; discarded rif-raf.
Rispired and absorbed through means of respiration.
Exhaled only to be once again;
Inhaled.
