High tide
sadness billows
swells over me in waves
massive, silent, overwhelming
melancholy ocean engulfing me
flailing, drowning in emotion
or maybe I'm being
too dramatic
only-
It feels
that dramatic-
my universe slightly
out of orbit or alignment
something strangely out-of-kilter causing
all things to be thrown off their course
too much wind and pressure
in atmosphere
storms surge
Drifting
on swift currents
rudderless, out to sea
swept toward an isolated
island, far removed from humanity
pulling me farther and farther
from the reality
of what could be
wind-tossed
Landing
on shore, lonesome
building small raft of hope
shoving off at nightfall, to sleep
buoyantly, trusting by morning I'll be
somewhere else- maybe better or
not, but different than
here- can't be worse
I think...
Micro-particular molecular particles whose properties carry less mass at any given time typically are airborne, only to be respired and absorbed through means of respiration.
Exhaled only to be once again; inhaled.
Trapped inside inner linings of esophageal passages.
Buoyantly escaping; light-like-quick.
Tumbling like a cyclonic feather.
Blue rays with ultrasonic transfers of unconditional compromises shine light on this symbiotic shrubbery.
Rif-raf relief is a resulted byproduct or so-called "nuisance dust."
Unequivocal numeric figures comparable to such matter, couldn't positively identify with no such indication.
The previous possession will remain under further investigation.
Breath in.
Breath out.
Tumbling airborne once being transferred or transformed.
De-composition turns flesh into bone, leaving behind symbiotic shrubbery; discarded rif-raf.
Rispired and absorbed through means of respiration.
Exhaled only to be once again;
Inhaled.

How does an old man as old as me
Keep up with the changes in society
Men can be women, old men can be girls
Pronouns can be mx or they, or hers
Abortion is healthcare through faces proud
Is said by the bearer who echoes the crowd
The word “marriage” has changed from the ancients
Is nothing pure? Is nothing sacred?
Positive and negative no longer are compliments
Now we’re the same cos no need for supplements
Sport now reflects the querying of boundaries
Like robots obeying we are and non-binaried
All whites are oppressive without a choice
Everyone else sings in harmonic voice.
The floodgates opened in 2014
Homosexual marriage the new morphine
All institutions now deceitfully captured
So called progressives buoyantly enraptured
The decline of the west has left me behind
But eternal truth is on my side.
Push 'em, pull 'em, dip 'em, and squat'em.
Whatever you do, just don't neglect 'em
Aptly say no to loose and flabby
And yes, to tight 'cause loose is too shabby
No gym membership, Bowflex, or Peloton?
No worries 'cause pushing, pulling, dipping and squatting
will never be outdone
The mission is to push, pull, dip, and drop
So look good, feel good, and once you start, you're not gonna wanna stop
Walk it out too and allow the arms to buoyantly swing
A nice heel-to-toe flow; now listen to the heart sing
So push 'em, pull 'em, dip 'em, and squat'em.
But whatever you do, just make sure you never forget 'em
Dolphins
Watch the aquatic mammals reigning warm waters
Riding ocean waves zestfully flexing playful behavior
Jumping high in air performing acrobatic maneuvers
Synchronizing movements impressing fond watchers.
Be dazzled by their graceful moves peeking up for air
Turning around buoyantly raising caudal fins in pairs
Diving elongated noses under great depths of ocean
Resurfacing with gallant jumps stirring up emotions.
See a dolphin show joyous amid human interactions
As gray mammals emerge like torpedoes in action
Looping in air artfully, bowing to cheerful reactions
Dancing on water regally evoking rush of passions,
Admire as they toss a ball delighting in jovial acts
Walking like penguins to rise and kiss human hands
Splashing water impishly they rejoice as kids laugh
Dipping under water to perform upside down dance,
Amazing to see how they obey human instructions
Jumping through hoops upon listening to directions
Adorning choreographic motion for grateful crowds
Waving hello intelligently as people loudly applaud,
Don't miss gracious goodbye as they retreat in style
Being aware children are grinning with lofty smiles
Saying thanks, rising high-up to accept their reward
Brilliantly they pause to acknowledge the applause.

A fitting anthem for
an introvert like me-
Simon & Garfunkel's
scrumptious harmony
of “I Am A Rock”
spoke oodles to me
in its painful poignancy
bouncing buoyantly
on declarations
of independency
needing no one
utterly free
encased in fortress castle
with books and poetry
I was a rock, an island
a party of three
just I, Myself, and Me
Until he came along
and proved me somewhat wrong
as icy waters receded
I found that he was needed
an “island” no more-
I became a sort-of peninsula
with somewhat rocky shores
Yet, sometimes I still hum it
or belt it right out loud
“I Am A Rock”
ever my anthem
away from the peopled crowds!
With their last goodbyes, they walked away
Disappearing in the early morning light
Glaring, the pedantic clock leads the way
Warm, wrapped in a gauzy cocoon, tight
Blissfully euphoric, sedated, waning sight
Whizzing on a gurney, through silent halls
Wide-eyed doors open to a curious fishbowl of faces
Swimming in a sea of floating green tiled walls
My consciousness, serenely traveling into nameless spaces
Buoyantly riding in a tunnel of luminous cloudy embraces
Peace and tranquility arrested the restless soul in me
Immersed in the warmth and gift from above
In a blinding light, he stepped forward, so I could see …
My time had not yet come; these words, He spoke with love
Returning me on the wings of a mourning dove
Faded voices, I could hear
The haunting cries of babies born today
My eyes filled with regretful tears
Life on Earth I must live, vowing not to stray
Until my work is done and He calls me home to stay.

Days sneak up on the sleeper,
Either anticipated, or scorned
To the pessimist, they are dwindling,
And to the bright eye—they carry on beyond our selfish minds
Upon the wakened dreamer,
Days draw on in a smiley haze,
Keeping one buoyantly bouncing inward
Outnumbered and overlooked—he is opulently occupied elsewhere
To the seeker of truth,
Ancient, though ageless are the days before him
Crouching along the edge of tomorrow—seeking always more…
As days billow like robes cooling long-trod legs gainst the Eastern sun
And to the beasts and birds,
Feathers, claws, snout, muscle and bone— all harmonize
Instinct and passionate drive hurling precious life onward,
Their days meander freely, like knowing feet on familiar ground

1. Newton's Laws of Motion:
Third Law: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
4. Quantum Superposition:
A particle can exist in multiple states or places simultaneously until measured.

Oliveros accordion's honeyed
drone flows over chimes
with a soft whistle buoyantly fluting
In between breathes of characters.
We loiter, extraneous,
entangled lives in a state of limbo
Dreams flicker as Schrödinger cat.
Every interaction sends a wave,
and feelings clash within~
The force of love rivalry
is restricted by intangible powers~
As we sink into quiet depths,
Entropy seeps into aged patterns. . .
Instantaneous movements fester,
and longing is frozen in clarity.
Thermodynamics set heat gain or loss,
divided by warmth yields entropy~
Word pulse changes color.
Sound travels across time and space.
Redshifted craves blur instantly.
We hunt memory cobwebs,
navigating over this light-and-dark maze,
constantly seeking the quickest path.
Dreamt corridors bend toward us,
perception distorts the fastest trip home.
All actions have consequences~
We are moved by inert forces,
as time-etched Newton laws.
Rebounding moments shape kismet.
Choices teeter on fate.
Body rhythms align with,
physics quiet concerto.
Schrödinger hoped for our serenity.
Life's diverse quantum spectrums,
each unseen wave or particle is strong,
each minute, a heart Doppler echo,
becomes clearer as entropy slows.
Each action balances the other.
Riding the light of a new sunrise
Reflections of the earth
Caressing my soul, my hope
With serenity focused on the heart
Who knows light absorbs imperfections
Breaks apart dreams so they whisper
Kissing cheeks softly, buoyantly
Music silences the heavy warmth
As a new dawn echoes wisdom
Faith binds the hurt, releasing pain
Into the morning, throughout the day
Sunlight climbs toward the azure
Skies who know only praises
Like rainfall saturating the earth
Stirring feelings of grace
Pieces of a faith so amazing
It teases flowers and feelings
With promises of healing, a willingness
To open its eyes to His gifts
Inspired by the sunrise, the hope
Pouring out joy, laughter
Into the moments, the daylight
Sighing as it shades the dreams
In the ultimate peace – the belief
Nothing on earth can quite compare
To the evidence of His life
Stolen by the rising sun revealing the Son!
