I was afraid if I would
Be a good mom.
With a broken home.
That had no love.
That had no support.
I never learned what a
Family was.
Never had a family to help.
But I had you and
Fell in love with you.
Then everything just clicked.
I taught myself
How to be a good mom.
And try my best
At being a good mom.
It wasn't always easy,
But I think I was good at
Being a good mom.
This house has holes in the roof
It rains inside
Flooding the gaps between the floorboards
Tattered shades cover broken windows
Her doors no longer open
A shattered mess
Reflection of the heart it resides in
Stolen play and poetry
A swollen face, abused and beat
No food to eat. No table neat
No place to be. No one to meet
No place of love nor friend to see
A child lost in poverty.
The ills of a world seen verily
No smiles now held merely
A while to go till freedom felt
Down to the level I bowed, I nealt.
A promise dead. A mother dead
A stern face. A sentence read.
A child now lost, alone
No mother. No home
So what now whimpering to me
I don't know I said, so quietly
I’m a teenage guy who goes to school.
Everyone thinks I’m so much fab and cool.
But have they heard this story of mine?
Got a broken heart that’s not well and fine.
My mom dislikes me in some ways.
Dad is out ‘cause he’s looking for his days…
Both of them aren’t good with each other.
That’s why I’m troubled and so much bothered.
School sucks without their love.
Is this a punishment from heavens above?
Now they finally decide to split for good.
It’s so much sad to decide for it’s a “should”.
Now I’m broken and I’m so lost.
No family to cry on because they’re ghost.
Wish I was not born to feel this pain.
Just be a crazy one if this is I have to gain.
Remax can sale you a home but can't sale you happiness. I never visit the state of Georgia but things do get a little peaches. See this what happens when you eat finger food and take out orders. I never receive your Southern Hospitality/ I couldn’t even receive a plate of food you cook/ you can finally see now when I walk away out your life forever I don’t even have a single word for you. Only thing you will receive from me is this middle finger. You was taught at young age to go to School and learn in Class. But surely class can’t teach you “CLASS”!!
A moment silent things were so quiet and complicate in the beginning I thought we could have reconnect /But just like the chips to connect four they don’t always stay in the same order. You had play a handful of games and this when the “Battleship” games has to end. Now I hope you feel the water rise from your sinking ship and allow your tears to fumble into your lap.
I've chewed up
spit out
and booed off stage
just for talking
about todays society
out of my mouth flew rage
half crazed am I for rambling
in a daze
what, for trying to stop rape
from happening
Honestly I could careless
of your upbringing
the pure thought of it unending
forever shall I be decending
the words of a story teller
begging to leave this so called shelter
[5]He sits in a corner
Like a stranger in wander.
He knew it wasn't worth it
Yet asunder became winner,
Now he is a lone ranger
For giving in to the
Home breaker.
Anger, slander, character,
Causing matrimonial
Disaster.
[10]He carried his lunchbox
In order to catch up with
The school bus...,
Pale, pathetic, not to
Miss daddy's absence
Is a paradox,
For he could not understand
Why things are thus.
All he knew is daddy's
Painful absence.
[15]All day long his image crept in,
She tried to let it go but
It remained within.
Her bed seemed bigger
And the time looked slower,
Love missing in action,
For anger, slander, character, causing
Matrimonial disaster.
[20]Silhouette of a broken home,
Love turned sour...
If you think is to garbage
And retire, then you're
A lair and a romantic slacker
For letting the innocent
Child suffer...
Wanted child
Hence i was born
Two loving parents
The perfect norm
All it takes is just one day
The marital ropes will start to fray
Parental bliss, family born
Will suddenly be not as strong
Many events make this so
For either parent to come or go
The innocents stare
In wonderment gaze
What makes their parents
Go through this phase
The make up of people
The roads they take
Is it all for themselves
Or their children's sake
In many a city
In many a town
Parental off roaders
Tear family life down
Utopia will never be ,the worlds perfect family
It takes real love and affection to make them stay
50 - 50 each have their say
If it's not to be either will roam
Leading to
Another Broken Home
I hear a car door slam.
As I lie awake in bed.
I know now that you’re hear.
A single tear is shed.
I sense what will occur,
When you stumble through the door.
You’ll take it out on her,
Then leave her shattered on the floor.
She’ll pick herself back up again,
Then come into my room.
And tell me that she can sustain.
All your binding doom.
But I know it’s not the truth,
She’s slowly dyeing inside.
You’re taking away her youth,
While she swallows all her pride.
I know she thinks of running away,
But she realizes it’s no use.
There will be a price to pay,
And it will end in more abuse.
glass breaking, mom is crying
chaos everywhere
dad doesn't understand
nor do mom understand
they think fighting with each other its going help us in life
no
worse
its spoiling our future
i get up at 2am and sleep at 1am
cause mom and dad don't seem to get along
5 solid brothers who break very rule in the house
3 young sisters who crying its their motto
everyday my life its like in this big dark tunnel
cant go any farther cant turn back either
i'm just stuck in the middle
when its someone going to realize
i just cant take it
i cant
not again
i just want a break
a break from life
but there is none nothing
just me and my sorrow
I hear a car door slam.
As I lie awake in bed.
I know now that you’re hear.
A single tear is shed.
I sense what will occur,
When you stumble through the door.
You’ll take it out on her,
Then leave her shattered on the floor.
She’ll pick herself back up again,
Then come into my room.
And tell me that she can sustain.
All your binding doom.
But I know it’s not the truth,
She’s slowly dieing inside.
You’re taking away her youth,
While she swallows all her pride.
I know she thinks of running away,
But she realizes it’s no use.
There will be a price to pay,
And it will end in more abuse.
These walls are closing in
the yelling is getting worse
always running through my head
are these thoughts of divorce
I don't know how long I can take it
I don't know how long I can last
every time we argue
you want to talk about the past
I am trying to stay calm
I am trying to give you a break
but if this fighting continues
I'll leave for both our sake
I am desperately confused
I am frightened and alone
even when we're together
this house just isn't our home
One minute you're happy
the next madder then hell
I'm afraid to move or breath
Your reaction I just can't tell
