Break Through

Who knows
how many
layers
over
generations
have been
used.

Sprayed on,
and caked on,
and smeared on
thick
for the purpose
of covering
the truth.

Oh ye who
through the ages
have done this,
though
your layers
be deep,
know this -

that the truth
will break though.
Not a thing
you can do.
For all
of the truth
is his.

Break Through

writing is like an edge
said the fellow who
was not good at writing
and never had any eloquent thing
to describe with words
any oblique topic

Break through
here in a new day
stop thinking about
all that rubbish
on the sidewalk

no not the homeless
no, see
what he saying is why
but he does not know
why
because he is feeling
helpless as if
there is no other way

Where the Leaves Break Through

oh
what
autumn pastel forest day
where
the
leaves
break through
and
where
the
leaves shall stay
some red
some green
some blue
and
a little bit of indigo
that
i know
to be true

Speak Softly

Speak Softly

From quicksand we slay the snake with a string of pearls
Dissolve our fear as we speak with the muse inside

Original love floats softly to the living

Wash our tongue of gray woolen bits then send
some air past lips of honeyed breath

Original sound floats softly to the living

Weave our paper words through ashes of past experience
Feed the flames amid the chunks of ice

Original intent floats softly to the dying

Break Through

You in there
Don t ever hide
at cost of fighting through this,
don t prefer the comforting bed side.

Day by day don t enter into that shell,
To catch up try breaking the routine
 you have unconsciously set.
After all your smile is just not out to fake
It surely has the power of goodness
Try it on You for goodness sake.

Letting it engulf you completely
while you wait for someone of trust
My dear you are the break through
Spirit of fighting back in you first is a must.

Break Through the Sorrow

It's tough to be strong
when you feel beaten down
Takes a piece of you with
Every time, every round

Each time you get up from the previous fall
Quick like a fox!
Crash! Down comes a wall
Pinning you to sorrow, taking it's share
Pecking at your bones
Leaving only despair

Why? Oh why?
Must it always be me?
Picking up the pieces
You look up and plea
"I'm a good person"
"My conscience is clear"
"I don't understand"
You want someone, to hear

Always on egg shells
just waiting to crack
you're so tired, this sorrow
Like a knife in your back
Sometimes you can grasp at
the good times, that tell
you appreciate the break
from living in Hell

Take each day as it's own
Arise and declare;
"Today will be a good day"
The sorrow, you dare
"I choose to be wiser"
"Throw me your best"
Learn the lessons it teaches
and discard the rest

For that break, when it comes
Will strengthen your sight
your thoughts for the future,
can change to be bright
In a moment, the clarity
A break from the sorrow
Could come anytime,
It could be tomorrow

Break Through

Hurt and held down by something that's not even tangible.
Some days it worsens and just seems unmanageable.
She kicks and she screams as she attempts to get out,
But at the end of it all,
she just sees doubt.
Shes aware it's not reality,
she knows it's not true,
But when her mind takes over,
there's only little she can do.
So she waits for the light to brighten the way,
For when the light is present,
darkness is astray.
Time will decipher what her next move will be,
But until then,
keeping a positive mind set is key.

Toward the Break Through

The fog returns
 Harder to burn
 The skies of dreams
 Have disappeared
 Giving no other choice
 But facing a void.

 As I look ahead
Instead of up with my head
 My eyes focus
 Searching for what I must
 And I must trust
That the path will lead where I must.

 And so I walk
 Upon the unseen road
 And my hunger
 Becomes my prayer
 My thirst is quenched
 At the river bank.

As i sit there to rest
 A shadow comes abreast
 A voice bids me hello
And as I rise to go
 He walks by my side
A sun beam breaks through and I smile.

Break Through

Break through the mould of mediocrity,
break through the mould of duplicity,
break through the mould of expediency,
break the pattern of violent behaviour
before the world and humanity faces total calamity.

Humanity now stands on the very edge,
almost ready into the deep morass of destruction to sink
poised so finely, so delicately upon the brink.
Never before has the need been so great
for all peoples everywhere to urgently link
with the forces of light, goodwill and compassion.
Man must-with his heart now think./

Break Through

Early morning sun breaks through
the fog and shines bright
after fading the gray,
your smile also breaks through
the deep sleep of night
and begins our new day.

After a decade times two
your love has broken through
into a life once faded gray,
I awake next to you
my heart skips a beat perhaps two
and our bodies find their way.

None of my past dreams
ever came close
to our present reality,
I only hope and pray
to remain your Knight
come whatever may.

Your warmth and touch
have brought me much
and ended my search,
that which seemed lost
has now been found
as new love breaks ground.
