Bothered Poems | Examples

Her angels got bothered

After a long day she sits at the edge of her bed
tears in her eye wallowed in misery
every tear drop reminisce a forgotten nostalgia
she heaves heavily trying to catch her breath
or was she trying to catch her soul?
and again that night
her room witness a mad wailing of her voiceless screams
badly wanted to be heard
that even her angels got bothered

Bothered by Having Been Bothered

By what trouble Trump caused,
Am not concerned in the least bit.
What Trump has done and gotten
away with bothers me.
What Trump has done and said he never did
really bothers me.
When we do not know about bad things Trump
that causes me to have much animosity of Trump.
By being bothered with what Trump is being
bothered with is very interesting.
What we bother are being bothered by
Will never make him a brother to me.

Premium MemberNot Bothered By Gluttony

Not bothered by gluttony, bring me pie
Warm cookies, brownies, cake, frosted and sweet
I love the good stuff, and I will not lie
Give me honey, syrup, a daily treat

I would like to try new things. I truly would.
Not bothered by gluttony, bring me pie.
If you would like to and if you would,
Orange honey biscuits please, before I die.

Just thinking of these biscuits makes me sigh.
I had one once with chamomile tea.
Not bothered by gluttony, bring me pie.
Thoroughly satisfying, they can be.

Line up your best desserts, all down the line.
Cinnamon rolls? Sure. I’ll give them a try.
My metabolism is truly fine.
Not bothered by gluttony, bring me pie.

Bothered By the Why

Why are you prepared to go to war with your neighbor?
Yet not with the gangs who control the street,
Your children walk down.

Why can you not smell the corruption?
That fouls the air in town,
When you smell your neighbor's apple pie and choose to reject it.

Why do you spread gossip?
And fake news,
Instead of inviting neighbors' to barbecues.

Why am I not surprised any more?
At anything you do.
I just hope your neighbor has more sense than you.

Hillary Had Been Bothered and Bewildered

Hillary Was Bothered and Bewildered

Hillary was bothered, bewildered and did bewitch;
We had read story that together she would stitch;
Sent out query;
Had been leery;
Knew that she became nervious seeing her twitch.

Bothered By An Assigned Bracket

Bothered By An Assigned Bracket

Linda Arnold wrote an article about
Spring and March Madness about
busting brackets.

An assigned bracket  may lock you in;
Can not escape or get out ever again,
And if willing,
Self-fulfilling; (Merton's Prophesy)
No matter where you are or have been.

Am listening to Apple President on MSNBC.
Self regulation is best when intent is best.
Still never sure of consequences. Type of info,
controls and connects are important. Watching
MSNBC is like attending a class. Anyone must
be able to feel comfortable with Apple. Always
interested in raising the bar. What you sell at
store is you. If store is shoddy you are shoddy.

Not Bothered

I am not bothered, whatever you say
If I never win, poem of the day
Don’t worry about me, I will be ok
If I never win, poem of the day
I am not going to cry, no flipping way
If you never choose me as poem of the day
I really don’t care and I am going to stay
If I never see my name up, as poem of the day
I don’t want to win it and I am not going to pray
Who cares anyway, about poem of the day
Just cause you won it with the one on ballet
Just cause you won, poem of the day
I would not accept it, if you gave it away
It’s meaningless, four words, poem of the day
Give me a break man, give me some, leeway
I wanna win, poem of the day

Bothered By This

Bothered By This

If you may be bothered by this
Would also be with a Trump kiss;
Sold self short;
Should be in court;
Him in White House would not miss.

A Bothered Book

Started a new book today,
   how many does that make
or rather should I say
   how many does it take
to reveal and express
all those thoughts dancing in my head,
hidden yet unkept?

What vivid dreams
   and wild imaginings arise
when the book and pen fiends
will satisfy this inner drive before it dies
to write in simple flowing rhyme
and freed verse upon the lines,
pondered than released?

Old texts, writings and poems
speak of good as well as bad,
of love and its blessings loaned
of what was happy or sad
of what is found or lost
   everything I never had
with cost written in the books.

Bewitched and Bothered

Bewitched and Bothered

If I float like a feather high in the sky
Hope all of my problems will pass by
And plainly in view should see below
Being bigger as they grow and grow.

Bewitched and bothered become you
Are fearful and afraid of what to do
As to consequences you must endure
While many facts still seem obscure.

Am growing older and days increased
Weigh priorities from biggest to least
For me and my plans to be a success
Say prayers to God so me will bless.

In my tears of sorrow I did not drown
Moment of glory came wearing a crown
No more Bernie or Trump through to wade
Neither one of them liked orange marmalade.

Being Bothered By Another Ban

Being Bothered By Another Ban

Unless being bothered by another ban,
And maybe in our such a short life span,
From things I read and had started to scan,
Who was made first woman or man?

Is there another question you had in mind?
Whose answer very probably hard to find
After going through period of remorse
We had to seriously consider the source.

Was it Congress or maybe the Parliament
Who to our God a great message had sent
Why is it so hard for all of us to stomach
Any idiotic thing going by name of Islamic.

Cold Monday morning
 He mumbles under his breath
 Car engine stutters
As he turns the key in vain
 Temperature is rising.

Premium MemberBewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered....

Bewitched by some poems, they are a dream to read
Who could not comment, on the ones that succeed
To thrill me with beauty...and inspire...indeed!
Winning my heart....and taking the lead?

But when bothered by some, that shout angry phrases
Not to my liking....not quite my tastes
Perhaps slamming is fine, for others to call
But bid it with comments? I'll say nothing at all....
They can accuse me...of leaving blank spaces...

Bewildered by some poems....they seem a big puzzle
Perhaps it is me...who is having a struggle
Over and over....I'll read and I'll juggle
It is best not to comment....so I put on a muzzle
The wrong comment made, may hurt...or cause trouble

Bewitched, bothered, and bewildered....each poem has it's song....
If it touches my heart....I will comment, and hum right along...
