Cold, Hot and Bothered

Cold Monday morning
 He mumbles under his breath
 Car engine stutters
 As he turns the key in vain
 Temperature is rising.

Delice Arleen Skelly May 27, 2015 at 4:16 AM Reading with pleasure your eastern poetry. The thing about tanka is those extra two lines, they allow the writer to set the scene.
