My first steps, a shock,
bare feet on the cold white ground.
Soft powder covers
the world, a blanket of quiet.
My breath, a small cloud,
hovers in the frosty air.
I hear my sister's gasp,
my brother's shout of joy.
The cold stings my soles,
a thousand small needles.
I feel the small sting
and I want to run back,
back to the warm place.
But my mother smiles,
her hand warm in the cold air,
and my father laughs,
his voice a low rumble.
I keep on walking,
brave in the strange new cold.
My toes turn a pale blue,
a small person in a great world.
And the snow, a white whisper,
surrounds us all in silence,
a memory, a feeling, a dream.
I will never forget this
my first walk in the snow,
a white world I found
with my family, with love,
and my little blue toes.
In the inner garden where silence lays its mantle of blue dust,
The butterflies in my stomach have slept so long they seemed like stones,
Or perhaps they died in a winter of forgetting and cold shadows,
But now, suddenly, I feel them awaken as if they were memories,
They begin to move slowly, unhurriedly, like children in the morning of life,
Trying to remember how to live again under the sun of memories.
Wait, I tell myself, they've forgotten they have wings, wings cannot walk on the ground,
But when the thought of you floods my mind, everything becomes a sea of tranquility,
And with a single thought carrying you to me, the butterflies take flight,
Fluttering as if they had never left, as if they had been waiting,
Waiting for your name to bring them back to life like petals unfolding,
After the storm, after winter, in an endless spring of dreams that do not die.
Thus, under the sky of my heart, the butterflies dance in a symphony of colors,
In an eternity of the moment when everything is possible and nothing is lost,
When a simple thought of you becomes the key that opens the gates of light.
The snow lies sleeping in the shadows
Crisp greens bursting through
Unfocused, my eyes blur the world and suddenly there is a spattering of colorful dots Peeking from the earth as it stretches and yawns.
Wake up Mother Nature! Up, up lazy bones!
Revive with a warm rain shower
Break your fast on Autumn leftovers that Winter has preserved for you.
Time to dress in shades of green, the sunshine yellow of daffodils, the cheerful, innocent white of daisies, and cascade of wild flowers in blue, pink, red, and purple.
It's a New Day, with the fresh perfume of the clean breeze lingering as Spring comes swirling and twirling by.
The echoes of Winter are fading from
view,
Softly, time whispers, out with the old,
make way for the new,
The sun is shining bright, and the sky
is blue,
Let’s get ready to embrace the gentle
Spring breeze and start anew.
Gardens and open fields are buzzing
with change,
Watered by Winter’s snow, rising from
the rich soil are bulbs and seeds of the
hopes we did sow,
Rows and rows of Daffodils, Tulips and
Bluebells, neatly arranged,
A vibrant sight of Spring blooms
a gardener's delight in watching
them grow.
Birds are singing sweet songs,
The Rivers are flowing freely,
and rabbits are dancing, oh, what
a beautiful show,
So let’s join in the Spirit of Spring,
throw our worries into the last of the
melting snow, and watch them simply
just go.

Cobalt blue skies, ivory-white clouds,
Sun blazing through lace-covered windows,
But all this belies the truth of the day
As winter chills still have their way
Causing icicles to slide across pilgrim ways;
Do you watch from your room
As folk stroll in the gloom
Or steadily balance upon icy bloom,
While winter laughs in the face of living
Stating the cold is freely given,
And heat is a figment that is forgotten
Before the thaw begins,
Cobalt blue skies begin to smile,
And ivory-white clouds run for miles
Carrying the rain that waters the field
And sees every river and stream thrilled,
Then overflow with joy,
As winter invites spring to rain on the folk below,
Laughing as the spring winds up to release
Coils of wonder as seeds pop asunder,
And these cobalt blues and ivory whites
Become status symbols
Of natures march across the land;
Clap your hands, sing praise and rejoice,
As we rise from winter hibernation
To see these spring-filled days arrive
Welcoming Cobalt Days and Ivory ways
From Creator's hands as gifts for the land,
And mankind, let us rejoice.

Winter flapping much the whole night
The foggy breeze wandered very tight
Mundane body wished the honey warm
But no rose napped in the blanket farm
She came with the pretty nuptial harness
Swinging the waist, stirring the girdle mass
Full of glittering bangle with luscious lips
Lac dyed ankle and whispered eye peeps
Adjacent lie down, sharing the pillow silently
Excited hard breathing disheveled impulsively
Amber eyes to dyed toes were all attached
Close, too close go round the hearts in merged
Lonely darkness escaped by the chirping light
Dawn’s eyes feel a fragile body’s ecstatic fight

day-glo lights the magic of fallen
snow over mountains weaving
shadow to-all shades of blue
alpenglow light interleaving
iceflow on slopes shining in
afterglow over a white meadow
aglow for trees covered with white puffs
cameo of a dream in indigo
The Hot Weather During Winter Days
In winter’s grasp, the sun still blazes bright
A warm embrace in December’s light
Snowflakes melt before they touch the ground
Heatwaves in winter, a season unbound
Sweaters left hanging, coats pushed away,
Short sleeves and sunshine, a warm winter day
Nature confused, blossoms start to bloom
Hot weather in winter dispelling the gloom
A paradox of seasons, a world turned new
Winter days with skies of summer blue
Jack Frost got me hustling
To clear my car of excess snow
Bare brown branches bustling
As frigid blue breeze blows
The forecast was right or wrong
As I sit in the car heating it up
On the radio red Christmas songs
Sing along makes freezing fun enough
I watch a parent play with child
Shaking tree to sprinkle white flurries
Warm eyes that twinkle as they smile
Despite chill no one really hurries
When it snows in the south
People take notice in awe gaze
Kids squeal with joy so loud
As they gather it in hands amazed
Purple panic shoppers raspberry react
Buying bread milk eggs in excess
We giggle at their inability to relax
And see snow days as God blessed
Despite the nights spent so cold
Someone who lacks winter heat
May be a poor homeless soul
Or you due to a car wreck on street
Snow in the south is a white dream
Everything seems to take it easy
Coffee tea and cocoa hot we drink
With warm hearts despite freezing
It’s a harsh cold winter
You’re gone and I’m so bitter
I sat front-row seat
As I watched our love wither
Heart gouged by the splinters
You’ve silenced your ringer
And my feelings for you
Oh, they still linger…
It’s a harsh cold winter
Choked sobs and silent whimpers
Sparks of love burned out
Leaving ashes and cinder
Sleepless nights
Bottles of whiskey
Skipped meals
My love, do you miss me?
It’s a harsh cold winter
I’ve always been an overthinker
Should I move on? Or reach out?
letting my healing progress hinder
Week old sheets that smell of you
Tears as wide as the ocean
People come and go
But all I ever wanted was your devotion
Cold Day and "Bluesky Social"
This morning, pale sunlight entered
didn't stay left behind on a cold day in a blank
a bedroom that has never seen sexual activity
or a hidden ******** under the duvet
in a bed solely made to sleep in
This was the first winter day, cold and lacked
a promise of a tomorrow with cold hands
wooly socks and dressed in old pajamas
Last night, he had become a member of
a newish site that aspired to be posh
for people with odd work titles like assistant
manager or some other job descriptions
like they have those who answer in a letter
to the Guardian, knotted posh writing, and
a self-regarding attitude
I can't send in articles unless I have seven
people to follow, but I can comment on stuff
in a cultural manner and lack of irony
I ruminate about the past
in the roaring rain,
I never understood
the happiness game,
One of my architects
used brutality to enlighten me
I wondered if this was the
reason my spirit was so cold,
Why did my eyes resemble the winter snow?
I didn't find empathy until
I transited back in time.
There were endless pieces of me I. couldn't find.
At dawn, I wore my impostor smile.
Until Insomnia became my pristine first name,
Jolted by twilight, I saw my truths
shimmering, from the sky,
I learned to be content
with my shadow
and those luminous scars.
Rember you like a melting the ice in winter day.
making me smile when seeing autumn sunset in your eye.
moon shines over the sky rembering your melody song in winter sky.
making my heart cry when singing your melody song in coldest night.
like broken memories of ice freezing in winter sky rembering you like
warmest night.
silence of your voice making colourless sunset in autumn sky.
rembering you in frozen sky making autumn alive.
broken silence of autumn when rembering your beautiful sunset in
your eye.
closing my eye wishing to vanishing in winter sky when rember
your melody voice .
winter is not white
she is blue and sparkly,
a reflection of gorgeousness
with dazzling crystals all over her frozen carpet
she is pristine, virginal, fresh, a delight every year
Bicycles go around, then a car.
A red car with yellow and white lights.
Yellow streaks, oh actually,
They are quite like an alveolus.
What fun looking at a single speck of
The city or village or town!
Friends of leaves skip around
And race their fellow buddies,
While another white car sweeps the
Concrete day-dreaming in the winter sun.
