when death struck

When death struck

I was rowing in a narrow fjord, and the sea was calm
Then the rocks fell into the water, disturbing the peace
I rowed on
Until a part of the mountain fell, forming a gigantic wave
I was lifted riding the wave and saw a village disappear.
The boat splintered, but I was safe.
I looked down into the village, people coming out, not knowing
They were dead. I saw them dissolve, becoming drips of water
Before they ran into the sea, who was the mother
I kept on walking and came to a valley of roses, and they knew nothing
Of the tragedy that befell the people in the fjord.
I built a house in the belief that here, the sea would never reach me.

                                                   I am Blue

I am the blue of a clean sky
Where every bird yearns to fly high,
The azure hue of a calm sea
                                    Where every fish loves to be free;

I`m the blue of a mountain peak
That imparts peace to minds that seek,
The sapphire gem eyed in the air
                                       That instills solace with a flair;

I am the blue of worthy trust
One can rely on without fuss.

Sydney my city

Sydney my love, Sydney my city

Splendour and majesty, nothing such pretty.
Sydney my love, Sydney my city.

First rays of the sun, spread here fun.
Opera, Harbour Bridge, Blue Mountain.
Pretty pretty places, plenty plenty beauty.
Sydney my love, Sydney my city

Clean clean beaches, green green trees,
Pleasant weather, cool cool breeze.
Kissing the shores, sea waives sporty.
Sydney my heart, Sydney my city

Kangaroo, emu, parrots, cockatoo.
4X fun, taste of barbecue.
Having flora and fauna, folk and fidelity.
Sydney my delight, Sydney my city.

Cheers of beers, music and dance.
Events and sports, friendship and romance.
People enjoy varied leisure activity.
Sydney my crave, Sydney my city.

In habitant's haven, half a hundred hills.
Love surfing thrills, basking when chills.
They toil for growth and prosperity.
Sydney my choice, Sydney my city.

People here thrive in an easy life.
Happy happy children with serene smile.
Over everything, supreme is humanity.
Sydney my pride, Sydney my city.

Premium MemberCRYSTAL BLUE LAKE

The picture changes to a serene painting of the sea
Then the evening clouds of late autumn by the ocean
There's a crystal blue lake followed by a lavender
River and mountains and then nighttime stars by a
Highway lit in neon/There is a city viewed from
Miles away and lighted with the colors of dawn
There is a green glow and a pinkish sunset and
Always the ocean and a mountain with a man
Pointing at the sky/The sun rises overland then
Sets leaving a calming new morning
Now there is a purple desert with twinkling stars
And a moon just sinking in a new horizon and
Clouds so thick you can almost taste them
Like cotton candy and there's a dragon
Sleeping on a desert floor with blue sand
And a river in grey pass fertile soil and
The clouds rolling in for the background
And the dawn and the river go on forever

Premium MemberThe Blue Ridge

Not lost, but merely seek,
knowledge and understanding.
Both of the natural world and
my mind’s space and time.

What insignificant thoughts will
push worries away,
occupying that space,
and consuming the time?

On these cloudy rainy days
the melancholy thoughts,
come playing peacefully, like
raindrops slowly falling.

The deer appear often at the edge
of the woods, testing things.
Full knowledge of watching eyes,
understanding no threat here.

The damp and green of summer
showers seem endless.
The hard rain satisfying the thirst
of both foliage and beast.

The young black bear scurries
across the road and into the lush,
vanishing into August’s green
and vast wet forest.

As the rain continues to fall,
the wipers moving back n forth,
out the window,
the birds bath and squirrels play.

The radio sings softly,
music from many years past,
no bad news of politics or wars,
rather lyrics for days like these.

From this rainy mountain top
peering down at the
Shenandoah valley below,
the world seems at peace.

This road of life, so similar to
this winding mountain parkway,
which today I travel,
content yet longing.

Out Of The Blue

           Saturn's bubble gum rings
Pink and blue
Palladium, magnetism
          Tractor beams moon

Stark reality edges out the sky
Dipped into the milky way
Heavenly cookie
Message nigh

Ping scalar radar bizarre
Rogue star rogue star !
Moon is set a-fire !
Descending like burning mountain
Drones fill the air
Wormwood incense fouls the Waters
They have come in ritual
To sacrifice Sons and Daughters
Niburu !
CERN has set up their Altar
While
Everything
Changes in the Cosmic Tide,
as Dimensions shift and Spirits no longer hide their abodes, unhinged
to Order's abide

Premium Membercerulean ''blue'' blue bird

a movement catches my eye
a flutter a flash of blue
      &I focus on
the build&beak shape
&wings that say to me
              a blue bird
        but, I look more closely
there is no orange rusty
                   breast?
I get out my trusty bird ID book
no rust on breast?
        color a gorgeous
cerulean blue
              like the sky above
a bit azure a bit ultra marine
     a bit turquoise depending on
the light&shade
it is a mountain blue bird*
                 all blue
they love open woodlands, farm
fields&our backyards
making nests in tree cavities
&fence posts anywhere cozy
  sadly, so do sparrows&starlings
causing a decline of blue birds
but people putting up nest boxes
in their yards
       has created a promising
comeback for this lovely ''blue'' bird
              across the USA&Canada ...
           &then he is gone
flying away ...

Premium MemberGlistening Bells

Trumpet vines, in tangerine and cherry,
Softly whisper to those souls who know –
bell shaped blooms, so bright and merry.

Morning glories in purple, blue and berry,
Delicate beauties perfect as a rainbow,
Trumpet vines, in tangerine and cherry,

Mountain laurels, blushing shy as January,
Colors of pink sigh in their ghostly glow,
bell shaped blooms, so bright and merry.

Lily of the valley, pristine white to marry,
Flowers so gentle, much like the willow.
Trumpet vines, in tangerine and cherry,

Bells of Ireland in green like the military,
Capture the gaze of every calm meadow.
bell shaped blooms, so bright and merry.

Fairy bells, bluebells and foxglove – carry
Their warmth, even melting winter’s snow,
Trumpet vines, in tangerine and cherry,
bell shaped blooms, so bright and merry.

Follow Me

Follow me into the cave
In the dark that we both crave
The echoes come back at us
Like haunting cries we mistrust
Follow me into the ocean
Where the water feeds our emotion
So we can show our devotion
Call my name and I will follow
Look at me and I will swallow
Like the heavy mountain air
I get breathless when you stare
Follow me and I will show you
The sky’s hues the different colors
show you all the watercolors
Bring them down, give them to you
each and every deepest blue
Let you sink into me
So you can feel my sincerity
I will follow you anywhere
Because I love the way you care
Twirl my fingers through your hair
In your mind I love to share
Words they follow us around
When you sing I love that sound
Like following the great Devine
For this feeling I can’t define
Follow me all of our days
Stumble over the words I try to say
I’ll show you all I portray
The hidden maze inside myself
The old dust that’s on my shelf
Just hold my hand and I will follow
Sit with me so I won’t feel hollow
I’ll send you a message this way
For the love I want to display
But these words I’m scared to say

I Den Tity Cry Sis

Identity crisis
1 word has tit in it
Overall it does make you feel like a tit
Att the decisions
Who are you

Identity crisis
No matter how I spell it or shout it or whisper it or talk to someone about it
Noone listens
“Your not gay you like a boy”
“Are you a girl again”
“Are you straight again”
“Once I break up with you will become gay again
Switch it on or whatever you do”
“Who are you”

Identity crisis
Sometimes crisis feels like overkill
A mountain out of a molehill
Much ado about nothing and making a song and dance about nothing
Now that's irony
You may not feel it but your constantly questioning
Who are you

Identity crisis
Makes you feel alienated
You
You have to go through this whilst everyone else doesn't
No one can relate
I don't know who I am

Red House and Spruce by Edvard Munch

Snug, in a blue bunting of hibernation,
Red cottage
In a clearing of indigo and ice spruce
That form ribs of protection from
From hues of ill winds,
As a leafless birch backbone
Spreads a protective circle,
Sentinels of secrets
Behind the hidden crimson door
When eventide’s crystal constellations
Of fallen cerulean white snows
Sleep in solitude
As Aurora lingers above ash and aspen
In glowing neon passion values
Sheltered scarlet hearth and heart
Slumbers in tones of a Nordic cradle song
And winsome memories of a mountain king
In snowfall’s language of winter
Of painted cobalt shadows
Surrounding a red house.

Blue

Everything perfect, something amiss
memories I hold in my heart’s abyss
unsaid, unheard, unfinished
Treasured always, only mine to be cherished.

Laying awake on the bed so warm
Waking up to the azure of the dawn
Scent of pinewood that lingered in the air
Feel of carpet on my feet numb and bare.

Melody of the hymns faraway sung
Aroma of delicacies in the cottage that hung
Nestled in a meadow somewhere uphill,
Sitting cozily in the misty morning chill.

Rowing together to the places unknown
Beads of sweat ,on my forehead shone
In lap of the mountain lay a lake so vast
Wishing that time stops and moments could last.

Faces unknown, yours etched on my mind
Travelled miles, so you i could find.
A rosy picture painted in my head
Found myself in the tryst instead.

Two minds who fell apart as older they grew
Little did i know it was my last time with you.
You were my something old, something new.
something borrowed and something blue.

Premium MemberMountain Mist

A cloudy blanket sheaths the peaks,
Wrapped in blue, they look enthralling,
Emerald trees behold the sight!

Milky river of mist like creeks
flows overhead this scene sprawling,
What a magical view and bright!

Here is found peace that this heart seeks,
When the morning sun is crawling
high to spread its radiant light!

In wispy whispers, their glow speaks,
Green, white and azure's soft drawling
arouses sheer joy and delight!

A myriad thoughts stirred within,
God alone can such landscapes spin!
