Blue Ridge Mountain Overlook

While, alone, I gaze upon this splendored sight
the true meaning of Nature's spectacle is somehow lost.
I will leave with emptiness inside my heart, for, these
wonders of beauty are best seen and appreciated when
shared by two souls.

So, should you chance to pass this way alone and
long to share this sight, I leave an echo of my
heartbeat so you may capture the true beauty and
meaning of God's splendor.

Pause, and in meditation, let our spirits look
together at this splendid sight. Then leave with peace
of mind knowing that another kindred soul has passed
this way and you need not feel alone.

I've found deep lyrical expression in these lines,, one would love to pass that way of the Blue ridge mountain. Very meditative and reflective.. Congrats, John!!

Whoa John, so so beautiful and so so sad, you will pass again and again, live now, forget tomorrow. This is what you would tell me. Terry

Terry, I really feel alone when I am alone.. I guess that's the nature of things. I feel something is missing if I cannot share... Thanks for the visit... You brighten my day..Jake.
