A Lurking Shadow

How perfidious is it to hide,
not to be found and be recognized
for the values not revealed
but shamefully being cast aside?
How deplorable is it to renounce existing,
refusing the crown of meekness,
a life of peaceful days, of a lesser complicity
and accept the glory of vanity...
when feelings of betrail resurge, contesting
the perception of loss beyond credibility?

Does one choose loneliness so voraciously sought,
that retreat from a squalid existence that fate brought
to a secluded place that lacks colors and sounds
allowing horrid darkness to descend upon defeats,
blocking out the brilliance and blighting the thoughts
of a mind in search of solitude and self-awareness?

How pathetic us to turn
into a lurking shadow
to conceal the frown of scorn,
the angry look of hurt...
rejecting soothing comfort,
accepting horrid sorrow!

Do all have the same principles of idiocy
and follow a deceiving voice
swerving them from reason...
does it offer delusions that attempt treason?
How strong is their effect on honesty;
how will it coordinate with their choice?

Citizen of Another Country

I'm the cirizen of another country,
the long penynsula that stretches
into the vast Mediterrean Sea;
has anybody ever seen how lovely
it is with its snow-capped mountains
and verdant rolling hills oveerlooking
towns with castels and churches?
Has anyone ever heard the warbling
of canaries and of sparrows?

Before I pledge allegiance
to another flag and swear my loyalty,
I may feel a sense of betrail inside,
I'll overcome it and love both flags
and countries fairly and equally...
can one love two countries?

The farewell of a young boy departing
on his seventhenth year wasn't
as sad as that of my parents who were crying;
I sought an exciting future that
only America was offering
to the most adventurous spirit
flying over an unknown ocean...
navigated by hundres of ships under an airplane.

I'm a cirizen of another country,
a country loved by Michelangelo, Dante and Ovid;
no, I wasn't expelled from their cities as they were,
I obeyed the will of mom and dad.
I'm a citizen of another country
obeying the laws of the land and respecting everyone.

Lies

It's something that you start out with
it's there until betrayed
But once the trust is broken
the relationship is frayed

It's not so easy to restore the faith
once the deed is done
It's work, work, and more work
and that, my friends, not fun

Some days are good, some days are not
and that you can expect
So--------stay on the road, long and straight
your rewards are just ahead.

For if you fall and lie again
that wedge between you both
Will widen, deepen, pull apart
whatever made you close.

Unwanted

Trying to find where i belong has been my objection to long.
casted out by a socity and kicked to the side came face to face
with betrail from my own kind.

Held captive behind enmy lines against all odds determined to be excepted
dispite the past rejections in search of love and effection Wanted! thats where i wanna be surrounded by a people with an affinity to me.

those who will openly embrace me and take me for who i am and will judge the not for where i have been, and once upon a time i had came across a man,a man of wisdom
and as i stood on the side of this wise man he lent me a gife though few understand.

He said Gods kingdom is more than a bunch of words its power pure divinity in the darkest hour.To see a devine light within the wilted flower for behind blind eyes lyes lifes discie and to say yes is to simply ablige to obide by the rules of this unseen gide line and to find peace within ones self and to except the help thats given when feelt
''Glown upon your face inside your hart is that place''.

Delusion

Am i right to have questions?
the perspex of time eludes me.
Am i right to compound others betrail?
is it wrong for the taxation of sunshine through a window?
does the dictionary not say, wrong is to treat unjustly.
or wrongful an injurious unjust?
can i writhe on this subject?
or can i just wriggle?
a burdensome duty is a deresion,
a fallacy,a mistaken idea.
its just a delusion.

Sorrow

Sorrow in my heart, pain in my life.
My poor, tear filled eyes.
Why, why have you left me here to die?
I can't let go, and I can not hang on.
Trembling fingers, blood shot eyes,
you, yes you, you was my life, my soul!
Now your just dust, fading memories,
but the pain, the horrid pain remains.
No relief in sight, only tears, only pain.
Will no one show me the way?
The way home, the light to ease my sorrowful heart.
No of course not, only abandoment, betrail,
you, yes all of you, you all have left me here to DIE!
All alone in my pain, my sorrow,
all alone in my head while my heart tells me lies!
Sorrow in my heart, pain in my life.

You

Holding your hands in mine,
Pretending everything is fine,
Staring into your eyes,
While my soul slowly dies.
My love for you is slowly slipping away,
All my feelings have run astray,
Feeling of betrail sinking in,
Heartbreak and pain crawling under my skin.
