Coffee! Coffee In the Yawning.
Pour straight from the pot.
In the dawning - deep fog of brain.
Lifting of the breakfast cup.

Pour straight from the pot.
Open very wide, the eyes.
Lifting of the breakfast cup
along with a grape jelly donut.

Open very wide, the eyes -
the ebon clearing.
Along with a grape jelly donut,
have a great big gulp.

The ebon clearing
in the dawning - deep fog of brain.
Have a great big gulp.
Coffee! Coffee in the yawning.

Heads up people, a new day is dawning
Important to appreciate this feeling of belonging
Tell people you love 'em
All the way to the end
Even if you notice a bunch of them are yawning

Premium Member Yawning Is Contagious

Yawning is certainly contagious
Others can't help yawning too
It even happens with chimpanzees
Try it next time you're at the zoo

Yawn while attending a party
Many will follow your lead
The host can signal the party's over
By yawning, it's time to leave

Yawning can also be useful
Groom signals the sleep he lacks
He's saying the wedding's over
To get his new bride in the sack

They happen when you're nervous
You need to let go a big fart
At a very important office meeting
One that soars right off the chart

Ever notice how silly we look
Our faces get all screwed up
We look like we're giving birth to a baby
Or picking up poop from a pup

So every time you yawn now
Remember these images I've sent you
You surely will to try to stifle it
Remembering the chimps in the zoo!

Premium Member Is Yawning Impolite

Yawning is a bad habit don't you think
People can see what you had for breakfast
Though you enjoyed your eggs and bacon
We don't need to see what we ate last

It gets all chewed up and looks yucky poo
Pigs become history but hens take pride
In producing a fine oval egg every day
Their joy they can't conceal or hide

Some people blast farts on the subway
And look around at the person who let it go
Glancing at the one we think was the culprit
It's easy to tell but their red face shows

Yawning is a bad habit don't you think
Ignoring it is somewhat rude in some circles
Though you really enjoyed your breakfast
No matter you've lost your marbles

Premium Member Yawning of the Dawn

It comes all dressed in purple hues
A morning tiptoes into dawn
Watch how light glitters from the hem
This day that stretches with a yawn

Soon these moments fade to blue
Sweet dawn turns pink about the rim
This day that stretches with a yawn
Across the sky when light begins

This day that stretches with a yawn
Will bring a sun that's red and gold
The face of nature's blushing skin
With pastel colors day unfolds

To stand as witness to the dew
The morning springs alive within
This day that stretches with a yawn
Makes all the world brand new again

As day warms bright in morning's sun
I'll wait to hear the rooster's song
I'll drink my coffee, smile, drink in
This day that stretches with a yawn

Yawning

Like a blazing fire yawning spreads,
Pulling at your face tearing it to shreds.
Oh so vigorous it makes you shiver
A mouth so wide like that of a river.
Eyes moist and blurry they weep
Telling you must go to sleep
But instead you go about your day
Cussing at Monday the long workday
Tiredness and boredom the factors at play
That teacher is yapping same crap everyday.
A yawn tells everything it's written on your face
The rat race life's eternal the mortal chase.
Feel free to yawn don't feel out of place.

Yawning and Sneezing

Yawning and sneezing a common,
At all men and women,
Yawning a devil,coming from Satan,
Take care,
Sneezing divined,
Praise God then and there!

Premium Member Bridge the Yawning Gulf

Washington is broken; it couldn't be more divided.

And who suffers because of this us-against-them tribalism?
The American people. Real change is needed
to fix Washington. If only members of Congress
                    Find common ground and curb
The poisonous bickering and finger pointing.

These complacent politicians seem to be experts
At kicking the can down the road.
If only they cast aside their egos and go to work
For the American people. Success in politics nowadays
Is only possible through the art of compromise.

It's an absolute necessity as far as governing
            Through legislative process is concerned.
If only Democrats and Republicans work in tandem
To implement policies and past laws that will help
Lift struggling, low-income families out of poverty.

Real change is crucial. If only they do more
to make healthcare affordable to all.
If only both political parties help pass
immigration reform and reduce gun violence,
                   hate crimes, and police brutality

America will be a much better, safer place.
It all could be, if and only if
                 The steadily widening yawning gulf
                Between Democrats and Republicans
                        In Washington is bridged.

Yawning makes you look like an absolute goof
We can see what you had for breakfast and your missing tooth
You're incapacitated
Visions of the first girl you dated
And all the naughtiness you were guilty of during your youth

Yawning Wars

It's getting late at night
The perfect time to start a war
All we needs a keeper
Someone to hold the score

I come on rather strongly
Right out the starting gate
Throwing two yawns in your direction
Because it's getting late

The first one catches you by surprise
The second you deflect
But you can see by the look in my eyes
I'm not through yawning yet

Before I have time to react
You throw one back at me
Pretty soon the entire room
Is in a yawning melee

We vow to take no prisoners
In this battle between you and me
We will both keep yawning
Till one of us falls asleep

Yawning

Way back when, at mankind’s dawn,
Before most known inventions,
Humans gave in to a yawn
Despite their best intentions.

Yawning never disappeared;
It’s lasted through the ages
And to a yawn a face is geared
When thinking disengages.

Tiredness could be the cause
From lack of sleep or illness
Or when somebody needs a pause
From boredom’s awful stillness.

One more reason mouths give in
To open is the spawning
Of the contagion which will win
When other folks are yawning.

Premium Member The Gaping Yawning Chasm

Do you yawn more when tired
than when you've just woken up?
This is the gaping gap of yawn's yolk
in 'chasmology', the study of yawning!
Why you do it, when, and what brings it on?
One quirk is that all vertebrates
reptiles, sharks, lions, kittens, and their babies
all yawn and its highly contagious.
It spreads in a room and a zoo.
One yawn can make all others yawn
when seeing a yawn in their face.
It's simply irresistible!
You can't stop it,
even if you wanted to!
Strangely, the stress from overexertion,
pent-up expectation,
and the quiet stagnation of boredom
can all trigger a yawn, even if quashed!
Bored babies even yawn in the womb.
Close friends yawn in unison.
Much more often than strangers jointly gape together!
Interesting stuff. Huh!
Have you yawned yet?

Premium Member Yawning Gulf

The gulf between us
is such a yawn.
It's boredom
drawn out
in endless re-runs.
Opposites are meant to
attract like magnets,
north and south.
Right!
But our chasm is abysmal.
It's a melody of maladies
and sick jokes bespoken
by a stand-up
with yawning incompetence
standing on a cliff,
shouting into the distance
while peering into the gulf
of what might have been.
No one's listening.
Right!

Premium Member Yawning of the Day

With royal robe in purple hue
A morning tiptoes into dawn
Watch how light glitters from the hem
This day that stretches with a yawn

With bloom of atmospheric blue
A day turns pink above the rim
This day that stretches with a yawn
Across the voids of distance, dim

This day that stretches with a yawn
Arise the sunlight, red and gold
The face of nature's blushing skin
With pastel linens day unfolds

To stand as witness to the new
The morning, springs alive within
This day that stretches with a yawn
As all the world begins again

When day warms bright, in noontime sun
Then waits to beckon evening's song
Again the blush the twilight grins
This day that stretches with a yawn

Yawning Year's Yucks

rusty year remonstrating
saline liquid scrunching
mild moans sighing
felon fate vying
peremptory peers tuning
sacred sorrow plotting

mild went wild
fate feign smile
past pulsing bile

lusty limbs lurching
la-de-da luck lustrating
lanky life leering

yawning year's yucks!
nocturnal new's numb.
