I Loved Him First

It was a hot summers day,
an Indian late September.
At first he did not catch my eye,
nor did I notice his eyes.
It was not till I had fallen,
I saw his halo shine.
He wrapped me with his wings,
lifted my dead less body from the ground.
His 'kiss of life', kissed me alive,
that was the first time,
I felt the magic in his eyes.
His smile enlightened a buzz
withing my heart, which still
vibrates to his voice.

His love is like the wind,
it cannot be seen, but it can be felt.
All those who came before me,
and those who may come in the future,
will never see him like I do,
nor understand his ways.

Yet I know:
he will never be my Jannu,
I know his heart has another,
but I saw him first,
I felt him first,
I loved him first.

Paper Flesh

LEFT ALONE WITH ONLY REFLECTIONS OF THE MEMORY

Her voice bleeds over the page
full of things that she can't ever say
and tear stains mark certain places
stains, that won't ever fade away
Her scars are in the words
etched so deep, not an easy feat
scars only she could still see
and feel withing her heartbeat.
Her pain is fresh with new ink
and it smears against her fingertips
but won't ever go away
this pain causes her to slip.
Her prayers are hidden in the lines
that fold open into prose
prayers from cold cold lips
as beautiful as a rose
her tear stains betray
this blades constant lying
and her escapes left
are those inside her mind and writing.

Mother Africa

Let me explain the dawn of her beauty.
Perharps in one word or two.
This to me isn't my duty.
Her wanders, a strange fiction to the world and me too.
The sweet necter of her smile,
that glows withing the colours of her skin.
She blends accross a mile;
Her face stained in His ink.
Beauty will perish,
from the lies that flourish.
Her children have seen her in her gloriouse days.
When from her hips came fourth the empires and ways.
Kindoms feared; and Names.
Out of the vasness, i hear the pain she bore,
from the conflicts she saw.
A mother of civilisation and more.
Her children bound by the chains of war.
The green to favour the Gods,
Her story we all forgot.
Under the Sun of her birth, came the rest.
Now, the land of the dead,
from which came the first.
The concept within her womb
is the cause beyind her open wound
The past that keeps,
Our history we greef.
In her heart; the birth place of all cultures.
She now, is but a pickings of a volture
Those children she bore are doomed,
Our mother gone to soon

From dirt and earth she grew,
that cold tears on her face like due.
Home is all i knew, a place for a few.
They say she is Dark and Crood;
To embrace us all, even the fools.
"Africa" my mother and boo,
Will always welcome you, you and You.

No Barriers

There are no barriers to God's love
he gives us it freely from heaven above
no matter what things come our way
he still loves us each and every day
he knows we will make mistakes
he knows we may not always get things right
but yet he is always with us
watching us lovingly withing in his sight
there are no barriers to God's love
your life he will truly bless
you can receive that love today
just by saying YES.

when Jesus died on the cross for our sins he broke every barrier that seperated us from
God's love, we now live in the freedom of God's Grace because of his great love for us by
sending his only son
nothing can ever seperate us from God's Love. romans 8 38 & 39.

GOD HAS ALREADY DESTROYED THE GREATEST BARRIER.
The temple had three main parts-the courts, the Holy Place (where only the priests could
enter), and the Most Holy Place (where only the high priest could enter, and only once a
year, to atone for the sins of the nation-Leviticus 16:1-35). The curtain separating the Holy
Place from the Most Holy Place was torn in two at Christ’s death, symbolizing that the barrier
between God and humanity was removed. Now all people are free to approach God because
of Christ’s sacrifice for our sins (see Hebrews 9:1-14; 10:19-22). Amen.

Overt Detriment

Involute ascendency of an omniscient detriment encased a
crystalline fragility fragmenting. Yearning a periphery absolved
stains the insidious chronicle red. A fading feeling of self
treason is absolute utopia asunder. Subtly i digress yet
paramount is this polarity diverse within me. Caged withing a
translucent spirit my voracious depths untold stagnate abound.

Premium Member In a Heartbeat

My heart thumped away, trembling
In the sigh of an autumn grace
Reflecting the moments, when love
Painted my doubts in sapphire laughter
Silencing each hesitation with joy
Poured out on the spirit who knows
She’s finally found her other half –
Something better than she can describe

My heart, beating recklessly withing me
Sending darkness a reminder that, with him
I know only the radiance of a kindness
The miracle of a light promising healing
The wonder of two who know what it means
To love beyond self-regard, with a love
That adores more than just the attractive
Love that admires even the unpleasantness
If it brings them closer to their most cherished
Treasure – the target of their affection
This love knows the meaning of acceptance

This love is wise and warm and willing
To give from the heart and soul, a feeling
That embraces even the letdowns, the flaws
Little catastrophes who inspire our hearts
To overflow with a love that is kind, generous
Gentle and considerate, a gift from the spirit
Who knows what it is to influence with love

This love is the sensation stirred to life
By the spirits of two who know the meaning
Beneath prayers, promises, praises…
The tenderness of giving more than things,
Giving with the intention of spreading
Pieces of a nature, affection that can’t be taught
Understanding, forgiveness, caring…
That can’t be bought – these are gifts from heaven,
These are gifts from the heart!

My heart still trembles at the thought
Never knowing the joy of this love that brought
My heart to the realization that this gift
Is more beautiful than the most breathtaking
Intimacy like this brings the heart satisfaction
The soul a sense of appreciation and the spirit
A connection that inspires joy and affection

Damsel In Distress

The long wait at the veranda
when will the lovely face appear
the window bars are familiar
enclosed by the grip of the long fingers
delving into the soft cheeks tender

She does not ventures out at all
a prisoner withing the walls
self-willed or by force of elders
no inkling of mystery under wraps

There is no way to forget
the gravitation pull all around
like the stones hurtling down
unstoppable in their momentum

The imagination creates an image
of stunning features of delicacy
a desire to act with chivalry
to save the damsel with alacrity

Deep In My Mind

The snow is trickling, glistening in my eyes
Mesmerized I look deep into the beauteous skies
Infatuated! Gazing! The imagery enchants me
Seeking withing me as I tremble in the bitter cold
I look! I breathe in the brisk chilled air
I saw reflections in my mind - flakes one of a kind
Sparkling as it flows down onto our roots
I see my rose covered in its' prominent bed
The love I instilled in my delicate mind
The remembrance of the thorn then in my head
I stand tall - I am looking to find
This delicate bud! Embracing me
Beneath the snow - she died at freeze
And sits and ponders in the ferocious breeze
Still as I sit and wonder of her beauty so wild
The love she displays , she is rooted in place
Beauteous! I know her delicate prominence
Hence! She stunts her glamorous growth
And the petals - velvety - so elegant and pure
Keep fond in memory without a trace
Visions still in my mind - she blooms
She stands tall in life - proud to be
The most beautiful flower - iridescently
Glistening still in the snow is the bush
Thorns in my sight - they boast proud
To grow the rose - strong by my side
Feelings - I embrace - feelings I hide
The love I symbolize - I still see in my eyes
This beautiful bud! Still bedded by the skies

We Are of the Ground

Electricity flows deep inside me.

You cannot harness it
Because I do not know it is there
Deep with in
And with in comes
With everything.
Attached to me is a soul
Morals that govern my entire existence
Profound power that is indescribable
However
This I am doing as I am who I've become
Both good and bad
I reflect the image of my own
I follow the path of my makers
People; in fact
Like you and I
We are the creators of each other
Bonded by common grounds
The ones which we physically walk and live upon
Bordered by the segregation of same species;
Invisible boundaries
Some of which are visible
Viable through the reflections of our own
Mirrored eyes reveal truth through involuntary traits
The same traits that make us man and woman alike
The same traits that betray those in which we are
Such a separation of species has been our eternally fatal tragic demise
We were not meant for what we truly are
We are intended to be much more exemplary
Divided by nature lessens our homogenous immaturity to the lowest level for success of any other means if found such wrongs
I feel something inside of me that is itching to be set free
It is not a monstrosity
More so a virtuosity that is of truth, compassion and love
Electricity flows withing our veins
We are,
each and every one of us,
Responsible for setting each other up for failure
We place limits upon ourselves
I doubt what I can become.
We are unaware of what we truly are
Simply because we are to afraid to release the amazing powers we all possess inside.

You and I have electricity inside of us.

Thank You For My Birthday

Dear Lord thank you for my birthday
a gift that is from you
thank you for my birthday
and all the things that I can do
thank you for everything
and that in my most painful time
you still make my heart sing
Lord we revel in your Love
we delight in your loving care
and Lord I thank you
that you are always there

no words can express the love deep withing my heart
and the gratitude that i feel
all I can do is keep on praising
a Lord so true and so real.
thank you for everything
Amen.
Our God is an awesome God.

Lost Within

Today I realized there is no such thing as escaping from the pain you have caused
And deep inside I want to run and hide
Because I would rather be lost withing than feel my heart breaking
Sometimes I wonder how many more steps I can take

Without really breathing
Inside the walls are closing
Like they want me to suffocate

There is so much I've sacrificed
 just forgiving again and again
Inside I am feeling empty

Pretending like you never hurt me
And it seems like I’ve got no choice
But to let you back into my life

since you’re the sister of my husband
I'm forced to play nice
Cause I know I am stuck with this misery and strife

I know that freedom from this prison is so far away
Like the fading memories of all my yesterdays
I am looking for a motive to release this pain

But my thoughts keep rolling
Making the tears come down like rain
And I am afraid to trust because of the pain you caused me
It’s like I am locked up in my own prison

Cause I still feel my heart breaking
Sometimes I wonder
How many more steps I can go
before I lose all my control

Without really breathing
I have sacrificed so much just forgiving
Pretending like you never hurt me

Forced to accept the things I can’t change
When I know deep inside it could happen again

Tonight I realized there is no such thing as escaping
The pain you have caused
the only relief is gone like the end of this song

Sunshine Through My Window

Early summer
Sunshine comes through
    my window
Blue sky with wisps of white clouds
    overhead
Trees stand tall
    their green leaves
bring joy to onlookers
  Summer is more
than a reason
It is a state of mind
One which causes the heart to feel
   a heavy sense of peace
Even as autos whizz by
   the primeval powers
can be sensed
by those who are sensitive enough
 to realize
that the ancient world
still lives withing all of us
The past is only apparently dead
The time has come to realize
 that the joys of summer
     will be with us
           FOREVER!

Grief

looking beyond the sky, yes i stare above the mountain.
to climb it in several trips that at last i build a tower.
withing my thought the heavens raise their smiles but the earth place me bellow the mountain.

rest became my enemy that at the end we will all leap for joy.
prayer became my lover but in a loud voice i heard the negative of my prayer.
melancholy became my lover that i be a lover of women for joy.
several were called, none was chosen,
the instrument of the village remotes for failure.
mr sylvester udemezue was right about you but i was made powerless to bring you down.

daily sleeping in the class and pressing of my phone to overcome the sleep,
though i studied like tomorrow will be the exam day yet failure laid its hand on me.

oh, lest i be ungrateful.
it is only the foolish one that will not appreciate God.
there is nothing that happens to man without God knowing.
praise to the creator for the unfolding success.

Many Falling

I look to the left
Then I look to the right
And its hard to distinguish
Weather its day or night
In this dark world I search for light
To guide giving sight
I see kids faces full of fright
As the world begins
To say things that are wrong are right
Through the view of the world
I see many falling
But you never give up
As you are always calling
Walking by each and every side
Saying my child listen while I guide
Come to me for comfort in these times
I know your every need
Let me live through you
As we work together to plant seeds
Sprouting a new harvest feeding with your word to grow
As your love withing begins to show
Lord I see many signs taking place
As you said would happen in the race
As we come to you for comfort and embrace
Now this light begins to shine
Giving light to see the way
And when we unite can say Father this child is mine
As I pray to grow near, not astray
Many times its easy to judge others behavior
But seems we should strive to reflect our savior
