Best Vital Poems
violet cosmos bends with the weight of a bumblebee
its honey a sway to blissful
slow drip tucked into breakfast glee
things of no small importance
vital
like forgiving mis-steps that neuter success
or losing shackles of disappointment
to hear love-words nurturing branches of support
vital, like a baby's gurgle, language spilling
in infancy
as children outdoors skip in a fusilade of laughter
vital, like robins hopping in the surety of spring
when winter lifts folded veils of snow to a fresh brush
of green
lives from strain to festive
sometimes shaky with apprehension
in a carefully constructed freedom that respects
diversity
vital
like love transcending the glut of superficial
ELAN VITAL
A political change is needed today.
A new form of government to disallow pluralism.
Something that controls structure when the need arises.
A formula that states what is known is our rite.
Militant Communism is the idiom found.
A strengthen home front and a mind defined.
That one that states we control our people now, but only when the control is for refinement.

Not so sweet,
And if you block,
First take stock
If immediately sorry,
Don’t worry,
Apologize at once,
Don’t be a dunce
Mine was through misinterpretation
Which needed explanation!
Reversed the block,
I was wrong, on taking
Second stock!

Getting ready for
Passover to shed us might
For joyous future
The significance
Of God’s holiday is way
More vital than us
Wait for your turn, don’t be too hasten
Adam are so deceitful,
Cruel, heartless and despotic.
So also Eve, her attribute are worsen.
To all Eve:
All they are after is your
Beautiful gown and if you
Don’t submit it to them.
They will take it by force
With unpeaceful pleasant
When a man, who can’t afford
To buy a car, ask you out
At a tender age.
Tell him to go away from you
And get his car.
If the man can afford a car
And come to you again.
Tell him am not ready to be put
In a family way
“I want to be more educated”
But you may just accept him
As a mere friend and be caution of yourself.
Eve did you know;
Anything you wear attract men
So be caution of your dresses.
Your footsteps attract men
Be polite with your footsteps
Your posture attracts men
Let your posture be of sincerity
Eve did you know;
You don’t have to be in a hurry
Finish your educational background
And make sure you are well respected.
Education is your right not a privilege
So accomplish it.
If possible read from the North of
The world to the south of the ocean
And to the East of life bargaining
To the west of indies.
Then you can be ready to accept
And face men of your choice
If possible make sure you have
a means of livehood, it beneficial
to you and your family.
Oh! Eve you are the salt of life
Without you no Adam
Eulogy be unto you?
I am grateful for today and always:
No matter my future outcomes
Or what it holds for me.
I can only live today;
I cannot live for a future
Tomorrow, it may never come
I can only live; for today.
I'm grateful that you have,
Played a role that's vital to my life
And placed in my pathway's journey
On a trail that's a lessor-traveled road.
I voyage through times doorways:
To other dimensions in this splace
Splace is that space, in-between
Thresholds to other dimensions.
A parallel time shifts;
Another applicability
A perpetual forever
Beyond timelessnesses time.
Well oh well, it's another new day
Checked my vital signs, all seem okay
Good for while yet
Fooled you I bet
This old codger's still got more airplay
stop worrying son.
nothing is worth crying for.
it all ends the same.
Replay
I see your face
The memories we share
Underneath that starlit sky
When you were still here
Before we muttered goodbye
Replay
I feel those butterflies
That mixture of emotion pulsing through my veins
The feeling of suffocating
Just from saying your name
Recap my favorite images again and again
Your face so perfect
Your brown eyes burning
The sweet way you were smirking
The way you blend
Congruence between you and me
The imminent euphoria
Found within “us” and “we”
Every fiber of my being longs to be with you
When you kissed my lips
My necessity for you was recognized
I choose suspension
If it takes a century
Never will I find
What you mean to me
Replay
Driving away
Fighting the repressive
Dealing with my feelings for you
My panicked objective
Feeling the sting in my voice before I left
As I said goodbye and I will miss you with regret
Repeat
We have been distanced
And yet we are so close
Every second of the day is when I feel you the most
They can send you over seas
They can make me afraid
That you won’t return
They can play with my pain
They can puncture my heart piece by piece
You see they are cutting a hole
But they will never possess the capability
Of draining my Soul.
Communication is vital
Just make your words clear
Let your voice be heard
In order for darkness to disappear
Wisdom goes a long way
Everything works hand in hand
There is fine tuning
When everyone understands
THAT PIECE SO VITAL
Born of a woman, am a woman can't deny that
Neither can't say am not born to cover the bottom
Can't say that long dress shouldn't be the attire
My beauty and pride lies under the pilgrim of two legs
Having heartache is the worst feeling experienced
For pen is mightier than the sword, can't help putting it down
Gathering recipe of pieces and lines of heartfelt cry
Opening my mouth dropping bombarding words that hurts to some
But who cares when three or four are saved from that agony
Passing that cruised knife and rubbing it through my womanhood
Like a butcher chopping meat with a blunt knife
Rendering me to feeling that leaves me groaning in lost bound pain
Leaving me in pain, bleeding, difficulty in passing urine
And sometimes leaving me in pangs of death
Rendering me to a lifetime torture and disrespect from mates
Can't stop feeling low and unacceptable in this new technology world
Taking out something that so precious from me that gives me pleasure
Only leading me to be a mans object at my tender age
Am young, beautiful, intelligent where I need books and not marriage
Am a child who needs care and not a child babysitting a child
Need to be woman of substance maybe a philosopher
Grant me that opportunity to love books and befriend them
That piece so vital so don't dare touch it
I don't need to under go difficulties during childbirth
A grownup woman isn't by the knife but by education
Please help me eradicate this nightmare of FGM
Away from our communities and save our girls
In the bible God instructed of male circumcision
For this is my mission to fight for
I will advocate for ' please save my ********' for its in danger
Where preys bang loud ready to pounce on it
By all means pens, books, words forum never will I stop this madness
Let's join hands to fight for ' that piece so vital'

Communication is vital
Just talk to one another
No need to hide your feelings
Be true to each other
When conversation runs dry
Hearts are often broken
There is grief, pain, and strife
When words are left unspoken
To E.M.T.’s a vital sign
Is something they can measure –
Your pressure, pulse rate, temperature –
Not data we can treasure.
But I would add one to the list
That I believe’s worthwhile;
To me, the most important sign
Has got to be the smile.
For when we’re feeling happy –
With no sickness, grief or stress,
Our face reflects that knowledge
With a grin we can’t suppress.
It isn’t fair that joy is something
Life cannot entitle
Yet I would say it manifests
In signs that sure seem vital.
Vital for Verve of Jack Ellison
His vivacious signs had been vital
Then he went to a wild music recital
That for him was especially designed
Having his limited memory in mind
And as usual forgot song and its title.
