You Are Not Invited

--Latching onto my soul without an invitation--
Elements around my shore expose more than air
--Playing with fire is not a game you will win--

----
Silently she swarms in like a leech,
Feeding and sucking from the wounds my pain left behind.
She came inside: "Uninvited!"
Here have a drink, and die!
Taste the water drips that sail across my lips
Plodding vigorously in the open air of her unwanted hostility
Forbidden as one, I noticed her aura a sickening light
Imprisonment that haunted smoke around her own imperfections
The hate and envy, she lives in resides airborne
The sound that she have summoned up hunger
Brought me near the edge of everything
Feel my pain, a touch of impurities
Tainted, infected, poisoned passion, her face disguised
Surrender toward serenity, the lighthearted woman I am inside
She will never take, my full eternal grace
It’s time to reveal that blazing fire I hide
Drown her from the false flown sorrows of gust
Hold her hideous head under water--- burn her false fire out

Never will I turn my back and watch her muster them broken lids
Lungful of lies poisons the wind that flows from her snake like voice
Maneuvering the skies, scheming that snatch in
Like a viper twisting its unmatched curves,
I strike, like a pyromaniac --A burning match
Allowing her to taste a part of the air I breathe
A waste in the breeze her insecurities
Trying to destroy what she can't be, what she can't see
At the end, blustery weather will remind her of the sea inside me,

YOU! The Angel, who crawls around like a shadow
Gorging its way into the heart with a charm of greed
Twisting reality hoping nobody sees its true sick identity
Slandering my name as the master of evil and manipulative
Marking my territory, warning others of a cold draft
Grasping the beauty that glows from my soul
There it stood on the ledge UNINVITED
The devil walked and took my shoes

The Music Of Heart In Verse Softly Whirred

What seems now old
Used to be utterly new
What was previously told
We cease to over chew
*****
All that is old hold a treasure
If only we all knew
Just weigh and measure
Under the veil a unique hue
*****
Out of memories we grow
Been taught lessons to the bone
We do reap all that we sow
And for wrongdoing we atone
*****
Pleasure and pain what we gain
In a life not taken for granted
Who can stop time or rinse rain
Or suppress anger that should be vented
*****
Life will continue to hurt and heal
Vomit its villains to mould the meek
Send its saints to instill ardency and zeal
Never always the ones at the wheel
*****
Deeply inside my prayers I recite
To always endurance and faith embrace
Be human of worth, decent and upright
And paths that stain never retrace
*****
A great depth of gratitude to God we owe
For both strength and forbearance
For age that vigorously flow
And for the gift of Love in abundance
*****
An abiding passion for her Majesty the word
Delving into my smile and feel would draw
The music of heart in verse softly whirred
My poetic human soul imbued with awe.

tears
on her pillow
refuse to dry
only her piano
                    knows her pain

sitting
in her gown
her fatigued fingers
break her silence
                        as they weep
until crimson drops
                           stains her keys

yet
no one
hears her sorrowful
serenade of

a fool for love
lamenting his

her eyes flood
dripping onto ivory
rectangles of regret

but
they wash away
crimson blemishes
for her to play
                    vividly and vigorously

harmony of her hands
play away the pangs
                            of heartbreak

her heart knows
this symphony
                    could end in tears

but
she smiles
believing there is
always hope for a

Premium Member Animal Court

I relate this story from my room in the Quiet Vale Giggling Academy

A reader might find my story hard to believe
BUT!
At one time in my life –
As a matter of fact quite recently –
I had just finished Dr. Doolittle’s great study
‘Talk to the Animals”
And after several months of following Doolittle’s observations
Found I could actually understand animal talk
Which was really just grunts growls and bodily motions –
Tail switches
Chop-licking
Lurches
Farts
Things such as that

Quite by accident
While walking in the woods one day
I happened on a scene
A robin told me was ‘animal court’
Resided over by Judge Grump
At once I noticed a huge lion
Seated on a stump
His heavy tail thumping the back of the stump
“When Grump thumps the stump court will come to order
And when Grump thumps the stump all better listen!” sang the robin
There were a number of spectators -
Squirrels
Possums
Raccoons
Deer
Birds
All chattering at once
So that Grump had to thump the stump many times
Growling horrendously till they stopped chattering
There was no jury
No lawyers
Just this marvelously striped tiger
Tail down
Standing in front of Grump seated on his stump
I assumed the tiger was the defendant
The lion judge began with a thump of the stump
“You are accused of eating your best friend
Is that correct?”
The tiger swished his tail
“Yes”
“A dachshund named Stretch
Is that correct?”
The tiger swished his tail
“Yes’
“Sad” the lion judge continued
“You were reported to have done everything together –
Touched noses
Sniffed out-holes
Even wrestled together
Such fine friends
What could have caused such an action on your part?”
At this point the attending group began chattering vigorously
The lion judge Grump thumped the stump
Thumped
And thumped
As thumping the stump wasn’t loud enough he growled
Finally the crowd quieted
“How could you do such a thing to your friend Stretch
I’m stumped.”
The tiger looked around
Eyes blazing
Jowls dripping
Gorgeous stripes undulating blazing in the sun
Tail swishing in manner of reply
“I was hungry” he said
“Case dismissed!” said Grump
With a thump of the stump!

Premium Member Bearing False Witness

Pretending to be the pure an innocent,

          a viper the mask hides.

In the absence of those to defending themselves,

          the more vigorously it swears.

Those that show too credulous favor to listen,

instead of being careful, to insist on sound validation.

No elixir or spell can cure,

only truly depends on first loving themselves.

Attitude can be nurtured and changed
By you in spite of what has happened in your day
Confident people master it quickly
Despite what they are enduring
Enthusiasm is a side benefit that
Fosters team work positivity and friendship
Give yourself a break if you
Have had a bad day. We all have them.
Inspiring videos, loving people and supportive friends
Jokes, funny TV shows, and hobbies might help.
Kindness to friends is wonderful, but
Loving them is not as important as loving yourself.
Many do not give themselves this important gift.
Naturally you want the best for others and your family
Outrageous as this might sound, you must
Positively become your OWN best friend first.
Quiet yourself and give yourself this all-important gift.
Rusty as you might be, find your strengths.
See yourself in the best light. Encourage yourself.
Treat yourself with the same empathy you
Utilize with others, a good friend, or a cherished neighbor
Vigorously appreciate your talents and gifts.
Wisest of the wise recognize the
‘Xceptional logic of doing this and often.
You will immediately reap the awards.
Zesty excited attitudes encourage others, please encourage you!

There once was a fellow a woggin'*
Who bumped into one who was loggin'
They had quite a spat
The ax was a bat
And the first had a lump on his noggin

* Woggers are those who get all dressed for jogging, but only go at walking speed, while vigorously pumping their arms to delude themselves that they are jogging.

Premium Member How To Give a Cat a Pill

1) Pick up the cat and cradle it in the crook of your arm as if holding a baby. Position forefinger and thumb on either side of the cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As the cat opens it's mouth pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to close mouth and swallow.

2) Retrieve pill from floor and cat from behind sofa. Cradle cat in arm and repeat process.

3) Retrieve cat from bedroom and throw away soggy pill.

4) Take new pill from package and cradle cat in left arm holding rear paws tightly with left hand. Force jaws open and push pill to back of mouth with right forefinger. Hold mouth shut and count to 10 .

5) Retrieve pill from goldfish bowl and cat from top of wardrobe.

6) Kneel on floor with cat firmly wedged between knees. Hold front and rear paws ignoring low growls emitted by cat. Get partner to hold head firmly with one hand while forcing ruler into mouth. Drop pill down ruler and rub cat's throat vigorously.

7) Retrieve cat from curtain rail and take another pill from the package. Make note to buy new ruler and repair curtains. Carefully sweep shattered figurines and vases from hearth and set aside for gluing later.

8) Wrap cat in a towel and get partner to lie on top of cat with head just visible from below armpit. Put pill in the end of a drinking straw, force cat's mouth open with pencil and blow down the straw.

9) Check label to see if pill is harmful to humans and drink a pint of beer to take the taste away. Apply band aide to partner's forearm and remove blood from carpet with cold water and soap.

10) Retrieve cat from neighbor's shed and get another pill. Open another beer. Place cat in cupboard and close door firmly on neck. Force mouth open with dessert spoon and flick pill down throat with elastic band.

11) Fetch screwdriver from garage and put cupboard door back on hinges.
Drink beer, fetch bottle of Scotch, pour a shot and drink. Apply whiskey compress to cheek to disinfect, then toss back another shot.
Throw away remnant of T-shirt and put on a new one.

12) Take cat to vet and get him to give cat the pill.

The All Power Is Greater

THE ALL POWER IS GREATER!

The Big Bang designed the stratosphere and troposphere.
Below both majestic presence, Earth is the topography.
Today, all God’s creature roams freely.
Human being munificence is magnanimousness.

Now sits a child fulfilled.
She has her ink pen.
She aspires to be a writer – a great poet someday.
She is real to a righteous path.
Her themes and topics display a certain initiative.
God’s kind of poetry she leitmotifs vigorously and the melodies manifested.

A theological epitome inner cores and personification of the spirit went aglow.
Her radiance was beautiful.
Her voice recited the glory of the omnipotent.

God had sent the gift of psalm and she embraced him with open arms.
Baptism converted her soul to be a modern-day Apostle of the Lord God.

Prophecy she formed.
Wisdom and knowledge was born.
Her innateness was so strong that she was a natural.
Her libretti brought smiles.
When a release was necessitated from emotional dismay, her librettos bring
hope and puts God’s speed in place.

The Lord God sent the gift of psalm.
In a whisper, is the strength of voice.
The Lord God provides the power.

The people exclaim, “This is God’s kind of poetry.”
Eloisa proclaims, “This is praise and worship of the omnipotent."

The Valkyrie

In days of yore, when Vikings vigorously reigned
Beauty of the Valkyrie, vixen of intoxicating dreams
The maidens chose a paladin who departed and gained
entrance into Valhalla, they were Odin's esteemed

Beauty of the Valkyrie, vixen of intoxicating dreams
Goddess to serve her warrior - immortally embraced
Entrance into Valhalla, they were Odin's esteemed
Under her soft touch, favored men - tenderly placed

Beauty of the Valkyrie, vixen of intoxicating dreams
The maidens chose a paladin who departed and gained
Goddess to serve her warrior - immortally embraced
In days of yore, when Vikings vigorously reigned.

The Lighthouse - Lighthouse Rhopalic Verse Contest

The coastal lighthouses, intervening
in many dangerous undercurrents.
it's beacon interacts vigorously
as vessel realigns, manoeuvring
past many obstacles undistinguished
by any obvious visionary.
So sailing faultlessly, continuing
home without treacherous impediments

Peaks and (valleys) of an AA
Poem may be read Whole or Peaks only and (valleys) only

As my fingers trace your silhouette mind
(Yesterday showers fell upon a gentle face)
And the strength returns straight from your love’s heart
(Today they enter the world of a different pace,)
Those your shoulders that held me safe I find
(When one you take on a roller coaster ride)
No more to dwell in life’s shadowy part
(On to heaven then deep in despair nowhere to hide.)
Everyday a stepping stone across strife
(As darkness descends upon each avenue)
Each tender touch and words spoken ring out
(Eyes adjust as guiding lamps of one’s sinew,)
Eyes that see the same yet different life
(Before the mind searches vigorously for reasons)
Your love grows in me in you there’s no doubt
(And veils of your face I see like the changing seasons.)

To take the wrong road the right path a choice
(Some days one of down hearted total dejection)
Alone there was only one direction
(Some days an offer of heavens welcoming crutch)
When in dispute one opinion one voice
(Some days with in the abyss I fall into reflection)
You did instigate life’s resurrection
(Some days from out of the darkness your hand I touch.)

In pursuit of those the headiest days
Found an alternative with wondrous ways.

Why Hurry

Coffee aroma tingling the nostrils, glow of the first sun ray on the skin,
pleasant sight of a blooming flower--all have become bygone,
since man is busy chasing money.
Smile of a baby, beauty of a drizzle have been forgotten.
he is so focused on goal that he no longer
looks at the field he is playing in.
Greed to be at the top,has de-humanised him.
everything has become a battle and each one a warrior.
is this really what a life is worth?
everything in the nature enjoys being itself and lives in harmony except for us.
he is the only one who keeps track of time and chases it
down but in vain.
in the midst of tall and glass buildings he forgot the shade of trees.
he progressed in tech but fears himself.
invented weapons but always afraid of the inner self.
talks good but thinks bad.
no one has set alarm button for life except for man.
schedules fare for machines but man is living in it,
though when its hell, making others jump in the well.
A river does not create a new flow but flows to create a path.
only flows forward and never looks back what it has gone through.
not bothering about the journey.vigorously flowing ,assimilating so many new things.
A beautiful world is to be enjoyed now,not yesterday nor tomorrow.
An hour spent with nature is worth more than thousand lives.
Hope a day comes when man lives his life and letting others do the same.

(A New Zealand Poem)

In thought as I sit here, 747 flying by, in contrast to the isles of white clouds cruising eastwards across the Manukau sky yet another 747 passes by.
Tourists keep on coming, knowing nothing of the struggle within, local tribe just trying to stop those damned metal tanks from being dug in.

yesterday’s showers
glittered like diamond dew drops
beginning to fade

Today they enter the world of different race, one’s sentiment for the environment is taken, deep within the abyss of total despair, darkness descending upon the alleys of a lifetime tradition centuries old, with minds searching vigorously for reasons while veils of happiness entombed within a memory.

Desert Rose

Pale crimson skies
Stretched beyond repair.
Clouds as scarce as life
Above the desert’s lair.

Upon the sarcous traces
Of the dusty morsels,
Rain from a wispy heart
Like drunken yodels.

From the parched sands,
Palatable scents diffuse.
It approaches, it taunts
The flesh cannot refuse.

The dead wind in its lullaby
Whispers vigorously to give in
The parched eagle shrieks
The rose is bloody from sin.

Remember the thorny cacti
Scorched by the wrath
Defence is no defense
Pain lies on that path.

The giver of verve
Gives not but mercy.
Famine fuels the force
The desert is testy.

The tunnels beneath the sand
Lead to worlds unknown
The edifice in the distance
Could it be a tombstone?
