Premium Member Two Wolves

Each of us have two wolves living inside us
One wants to eat burritos
and watch horror movies.

The other wants to walk about
in its underpants all day
snacking on cheetos between long naps.

The wolf that thrives is the one
who lives on with diabetes while the other
dies of a heart attack.

Premium Member Your Not Useless

Am I really that useless?
That may not be the case
I am just another person
Within the human race

Everyone has problems
This i know is fact
Its how i deal with them they say
In other words, how do I react

Some people’s brains work differently
This I know to be true
The problems that some people have
May not affect me and you

To some normal stresses can be hard
They can see their way through
But to others with severe issues
These stresses cannot do

When the mind is struggling so much
You cannot see the way
Ideas bounce around your head
You can’t hear what others  say

No one has the answers
The mind is so complex
The smallest things will fester
In the mind’s deepest depths

Low self esteem will set in
Negative thoughts do begin
Try to increase your self-belief
As if you don’t it will cause grief

Some people can see the light
Where others just sit in fright
Others always see positive
Where some just don’t want to live

A friend colleague a partner can listen
So shout out to achieve this mission
It’s not the easiest thing to do
Once it’s done you won’t feel so blue

It’s easy for others to just say
Get a grip be on your way
What you need is a listening ear
Fill your life with positive cheer

So if you’re struggling and cannot see
Your not alone shout out too me
I’m no professional in this matter
As you are not mad as a hatter

I will listen to your worries and woes
Watch your movement from head to toe
As this will help me see what is wrong
Give you the answer that you belong

You deserve to let your mind be free
Give people a chance and you will see
Let them help you through your strife
You can then begin to live your life

paper airplanes – like
origami frogs I’ve made -
     useless in design
the frogs would hop mere inches
the planes soared for mere seconds

Useless Tears

Hello friend,
i see you there,
crying silently,
in despair,
crystal rivers,
liquid sorrow,
fears still linger,
til tomorrow,
when the past,
will slip away,
we will die,
by light of day,
the moon will call,
my spirit to wake,
the heart of beast,
is mine to break,
with gentle fingers,
cooling air,
heartless fire,
does not care,
what is love,
it all will burn,
because we,
will never learn,
the power of love,
and light inside,
under cover,
from fear we hide,
the lights are red,
my heart is blue,
and i know not,
what to do,
walking blind,
to waking dreams,
blocking out,
the silent screams,
when running wild,
is no more fun,
the children hide,
from the burning sun,
wishing hard,
for stars to fly,
we watch our dreams,
rain from the sky.

Useless

Even if I could mend it,
I would still be useless.
Even if I could stitch myself up,
the seams will fall apart again.
The mould couldn’t hold itself together
as it melted in the sun.
I’m still unworthy of your image.

Your expectations failed to notice
that anything built on poisoned soil
would be tainted from within.
Even if I kept healthy,
I would still be useless.
Despite the time- you spent to mould me
The acid rain will eat me away.

Even if I had a spine,
I would never be a man.
I’m not one for meeting standards
as I have never had any.
Even if I could meet them,
I would still be useless.

Like a bagel with no hole
Like a flag without a pole
Like a singer with no soul
Like a furnace with no coal

Like a gangster with no moll
Like a quest without a goal
Like a bell that cannot toll
Like a super with no bowl

Like a yacht without a keel
Like a car without a wheel
Like a con without the spiel
Like a thief who cannot steal

Like a key that will not turn
Like a log that will not burn
Like a boss who isn’t stern
Like a skill you cannot learn

It’s a pen that leaves no mark
It’s a dog that cannot bark
It’s a silence in a lark
It’s the padlock at the park

It’s a great big open space
Like there’s nothing any place
It’s an ass in a horse race
It’s the blankness on my face

It’s the words I wish to write
That refuse to see the light
And I worry that my plight
Is because I’m not that bright

It’s the words unthought, unsaid
It’s a veil that can’t be shed
It’s the blackness in my head
It’s my muse…
I think she’s dead.

Premium Member Useless Trivia You Need To Know

Here's a bit of trivia from World War Two I'll bet you didn't know,

Concerning the war-time Prime Minister of Japan, Hideki Tojo of Tokyo.

After the war hapless Hideki was jailed in Tokyo's Sugamo Prison,

Where he was given a new set of dentures 'cause he was losing his'n.

A waggish American dentist, determined to make a lasting 'impression',

Etched on Tojo's choppers in Morse Code this immortal expression:

'REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR" - 'Twas America's stirring battle cry!

He eternally gnashes his teeth in perdition after he was hanged to die!

Useless Beauty

Eye witness they, O my mother, rag less I am.
You are the price maker but guilty I am;
So much needs, chastity at deal
Shameless crying, robbed body mine
Painless, humorless, oh soulless men!
You all made me nude there
Keep squashing a fun, changing bodies a turn
Fatigue breathes, futile face;
I am the owner of decaying age.
But hairs are, now, no gripped, eyes refusing dipped
Corpse not, oh pimp, enough for sale
May be your sister, I am.
What! if your mother or wife I am.
Address me, your breed oh male!

Useless Money

Useless Money

I often get petitioning letters so many people trying
to find a place to live and only receive a bitter refusal
and see their children die of thirst and hunger.
I wish to help them, but no money in the world is
enough to stop this flood of humanity seeking a haven
flotsam, the wreck of the unfortunate and we can do
nothing but look another way.

Overwhelmed by the misery I can do little about, but
the woman from Myanmar who won a medal for her
tenacity, choose not to speak. The friendly Buddhists
are killing Muslims in their midst, they have become
refugees; the woman from Myanmar is voiceless.
She, the upper-class daughter of a Burmese general
Who aristocratic behaviour impressed us deeply,
But I ask why she is staying silent now.

I'M Useless

Try looking in the mirror
you use me every day,
I had never once thought
my life would turn out this way.

I've been there for you
there were days you couldn't walk,
we didn't know what was going on
I've helped you put on your socks.

I was there when you needed me
what was it I got in return?
Nothing, but a damn hard time
feel as though, I've been burned.

You call me useless when you're angry
and say I do things half-assed,
try being in my shoes for a day
you're making me regret our future and past.

You don't take my feelings into consideration
you only care about yourself,
I remember times in the past
your hugs and kisses made me melt.

At times you leave me standing
in this relationship all alone,
sit back, think about how I feel
at one time, your heart I had owned.

In this so-called marriage of ours
I got the shi$$y end of the stick,
I'm useless? Did I hear that right?
You don't have to be such a d*ck!

I can't believe the life I've got!! It's pi$$ing me off to no end. Every day that passes, it seems like it's always the same. I get grumbled at, before his feet even touch the floor. Sure...I'm not perfect, but how much more can a person like me take? It's like my life is a damned soap opera. I get TOLD to do sh!t! instead of nicely being asked, like a normal human being. I have feelings too...but I guess they're not important.

Premium Member Useless Resolutions

What shall I resolve to do this New Year?
Why should I even bother or care?
Should I fly to the moon
Eat salad with a spoon
Either one is quite useless, I fear

Tautology - Useless Repetition

TAUTOLOGY is useless repetition.
To explain what they are, here's a few.
“Free” gift, “follow” after, “past” history, are some,
“join” together, “new” creation, another two!

These samples and more are quite common.
Even though they’re grammatically wrong!
The first word says the same as the second,
therefore, it doesn’t belong!

Grammar is a difficult concept!
There are so many rules you must learn!
TAUTOLOGY is one of the problems,
but there seems to be little concern!

In plain day-to-day conversation,
TAUTOLOGIC expressions abound!
I don’t see a sign of it changing,
a problem, I can’t “swallow” down.

So let’s “unite” together and “rise” up and correct this “wrong” mistake!

“Useless Source”

I know some men called, big shots,
Who are filled with much bull snot.
Be careful of it’s use,
For of it there is no spruce.
A men of substance, but no real plot!

“Political Fleas”

Most all of strife’s parasitic forces,
Most always found driving their Porsches.
Poor seen of lesser degree,
Haven’t a pot to pea.
For common good vote out useless sources.

“Stench Isn’t Cheese”

Useless sources, political fleas,
Men of means, pass the bailout please.
Poor have given it their all,
As Uncle Sam called .
The stench on the hill, is not cheese.

Premium Member Proof I Am Useless At Drawing

Written on schoolwork
‘Boadicea didn't fight Martians’
Teacher was cruel

I was only about 8 years old and the teacher had actually written that phrase on my history schoolwork and I was mortified. I look back now and think how cruel it was as I had tried my best but I really am useless at art
