Premium Member Castor Oil Listing Makes Us Well-Sick

Palma Christe Uses
Food additive and flavoring agent no wonder we get sick now
Mold inhibitor agree with this one mold could not survive in its presence
Ingredients in skin care products like lipstick_don't lick those lips so much
Part of the seed contains a potent toxin called ricin which is deadly poison
An infection lingered after doctor's visit
Momma said castor oil the solution
Grape flavored slime
Gag, gag, nausea
Vomit, vomit, vomit, vomit
Cough, cough, cough
Diarrhea all night
Now two illnesses, upset stomach and snotty nose
Thank God no longer used as a medical treatment
How could anyone give poison to a person anyway

Prejudice Kills

Red and blue colors, a dangerous light.
Trembling voice, upset stomach, shaking hands.
Death; common for black, uncommon for white.

Gripping the wheel, denying the urge to flight.
The white officer appears, makes his demands.
Red and blue colors, a dangerous light.

Tension thick in the air, nerves come alight.
Disobedience lurks, begging for a stand.
Death; common for black, uncommon for white.

One wrong word, one wrong move, could start a fight.
An innocent child, did misunderstand.
Red and blue colors, a dangerous light.

Reached for an object, in the dark of night.
Stereotypical fear, led to something grand.
Death; common for black, uncommon for white.

Does his best to obey, but is told goodnight.
A shot fires, taking a life unplanned.
Red and blue colors, a dangerous light.
Death; common for black, uncommon for white.

Premium Member Covid Again

"When I was sick and lay in bed
I had two pillows at my head
All my 'pills'(TOYS) beside me lay
To keep me happy all the day"

I have finally been tested for a COVID infection
Ever since we knew that my husband has the malady
I figured that is what I had but I have stayed at home at tried to
self medicate
I kept getting worse and worse
In the wee morning hours on Wednesday
I got up sick again and fell
My daughters came that morning, called ambulance
They said I would have to wait 3 hours in the ambulance
Until a empty bed in the ER opened up
Of course, with an upset stomach one can't do that
They told my daughters what to do and left
On Friday, our daughters came and one took me to my doctor
And the other took my husband to his doctor
They said my husband has a secondary bacterial infection
Gave him more meds and he came home
My doctor tested me for COVID and I was positive
He told my daughter how to care for me
He did give me prescription strength meds for nausea and vomiting
And the diarrhea ~~the meds did help
I am far from being well
Our grandson who lives with us is sick also
We all came down with symptoms and since he doesn't go out hardly at all just to mental health we had to get the virus in food from a restaurant
Anyway, folks this is real and it makes one desperately ill

What an experience
As this episode
Of food-borne disease?

Bout of bad break
Food poisoning
Stomach cramps hurt

Sweet dessert bowl
Odd bacterial strain
Feverish sensations

Excruciating pain
Hazardous purging
Troublesome strains

Again and again
Weak legs dragging
Body disarray

Anti-bloating carbon
Upset stomach pills
Pain in discomfort

Three days edging
A certain complaint
Suffer in silence

Touch of remedy
Hold heart steady
Restore the healthy

What a blunder
Of food plunder
In that wonder!

Toothpaste Sandwich

You can have it on white or wheat
Add marshmallows or maple syrup for a treat
Any flavor or brand you choose
It comes in green, red, white or blue
I am not talking about Manwich
It is all about a toothpaste sandwich
Put enough on the bread so you get the full flavor
Ask the beer belly man and the toothless woman who live in a converted U haul
trailer
Or ask the blonde bimbo who goes to the extreme
Ask her how she maintains her oral hygiene
Try it once and you will make the switch
No more peanut butter and jelly, just a tasty toothpaste sandwich
Check the back of each tube for the ingredients you prefer
Just remember, upset stomach, vomiting and dehydration may occur
Some like Crest, I like Aim
I guess in a toothpaste sandwich it all tastes the same
Too much will send your head spinning for a loop
Please ask me about my famous recipe for toothpaste soup

To Kill a Writer

I draw daydreams devoid of grammar.
Jumble memories with synonyms.
Cook laughter with adjectives.
Flirt with rhymings.
Drool over oxymorons.

My masterpiece is not just another
crushed paper.
Or left stale at the back of a
hotel bill.
Or a long text message
killed slowly
with backspace.

It is not just another word document
punctured with punctuations,
pathetically clutching the clauses,
with wasted verbs,
privileged by pronouns.

It is a canvas hidden with puzzles,
masking the festering wounds,
concealing a story
written in haste and hurry.
Its my medicine that I can't take
for the disease I can't fake.

Ma says I'm a dreamer.
I smile slyly.
She never know I wrote things for her.
How her fingertips rubbing my scalp,
Stifling my hair
brings calm to my storms.
How her laughter to my lamest jokes
brings rainbow to my colorblind eyes!

They say, writers are over thinkers
who weaves drama
connecting sunsets and deaths.
I say YES!
My naked words
quivered with shame
facing your pointy fingers.
So I dressed them with strike offs,
replacing them with meticulous metaphors.

They were as genuine as my freckles.
Also as shy as my face.
Maybe, that's why I covered them
with my hair of laced lies and butterflies.

So never tell a writer
that her poems are plain!
she's not an upset stomach
that throws up thesaurus.
Never suggest a writer
a new Instagram infected writing style!
She'll take it.
And while you smile
She'll break it.

A writer dance for the tune of phonetics.
Plan a night out with personifications
and never think twice to
break up with your judgements
building up a tall wall of ignorance
which lets in only the legit critics.

A writer stitches gore with similes,
Iron it with ironies,
Wears it with the pretense
of happiness.
But when you say -
"It is beautiful"
and walk away,

You killed her with the blunt blade of cliché!

Lorenzo's Llamas

Did you know out at his farm
His motto is first do no harm
He owns several species of birds
One of them is a Parrot named Sewer who says some colorful words
His prized creatures are named Period and Comma
There is a sign on the on a billboard that reads Come See Lorenzo's Llamas
You will be issued a mask for the smell
You will lose your appetite at the ringing of the dinner bell
When you change your clothes after the tour, they will have to be burned
The smell will wash off your skin and out of your hair, so that's not a concern
Skip the hype and the drama
Come see for yourself Lorenzo's Llamas
People come from miles around
Leave with an upset stomach and a frown
But they keep coming back
Another attraction is a Kangaroo called One Eyed Jack
The Female Goose named Harriet is now a new mama
But they pale in comparison to Lorenzo's Llamas

Premium Member Consequences

Chest pain grips as anxiety fills the room
Or cornered I grasp a resting broom
Neck pain lingers and feelings of doom
Sadness at times fills the house with gloom

Exercising left long ago, enter old age woes
Quadragenarian no more~ whoa!!
Upset stomach, feeling overwhelmed
Energetic no more at forced helmed

No motivation, they've cooked my goose
Change in every part of my body, thoughts abstruse
Emotions ready to explode, anger and irritability
Social withdrawal on downhill side of durability

When a person goes their own way, the choices they make will always have consequences which can sometimes lead to stress with the end results of the above problems.

Premium Member The Day After

Dawn lights the sky as darkness erodes:
and my pounding head almost explodes.
A beam of sunlight pierces my eyes:
opening them wide would not be wise.

Climbing out of the Night's broken sleep
I sort memories; I want to keep.
I'm hampered by truth's drunken disguise;
and the acquired weight of empty lies.

My mind's too numb to register pain
until I sit up and jolt my brain.
Waking with heartburn and thirst for sure:
my upset stomach begs for a cure.

Getting up to hurt and confusion;
I can come to but one conclusion.
The Eve's festivities brought good cheer:
as friends wished friends a Happy New Year.

Weekend.

she caresses the parts of my insides
that i need touched
it's a hunger that matches my outside yearn
with ferocity and teeth

but

the windows don't know better-
they reveal a dusty strained light
or a cold lack of.
it leaves me queasy
there's no good season of the day
when it's passing.

everything gets tan and medical white
when the vacation's almost over
i go home bleary eyed sullen with:
dirty socks, upset stomach
three cigarettes, ten dollars
worn underwear and receipts.

Second Chances

Perhaps it is a different time
to softly walk and just unwind
for within this new dawn brings fragrant lullabies
blossoming friendships and strong family ties

Perhaps there is much more to see
within each day, low what lay beneath--
tainted and toiled; soiled, shambles
things that hinder --not in focus

The once upon a golden dreams
fantasy, fallacies upon those shores
where we were to meet
somewhere cries the silver lining from the clouds where my head did lay

awakening upon the ground
and again and again so the story goes
Until I got the courage to go
to a place that doesn't feel much like home

Exhaled a breath when I crossed the county line

Still the hardest of all was pulling into a familiar drive
as She opened the trailer door
frail and in her eighties
The woman who disproved everything thing I did at one time

as our eyes met there was a softness in mine
"Perhaps this is not the right time?"
Remembering the hurt of her never nurturing crossed my mind
"No." as she struggled to put a plate of food before me and my upset stomach

Funny how the food was exceptionally well for my ailment and I was hungry after all
I told her of my mistakes and this time there was a softness in her words
Perhaps there was more than the second chance I had set out to find
This one was for me. How selfish could I be?!

The Lost Word Generation

The lost word generation
eats anything they can get their hands on
and gets an upset stomach.
Since no one knows how to cure
[they panicked],
made him drink, a glass of water mixed with gold dust.
It cured his upset stomach but made him suffer with diarrhea.

The generation abandoned word yells
but they cannot communicate their thoughts,
they grabbed the rifle and aimed one another’s heart.
When they fell to the ground, shells from the rifle chamber,
surprisingly, marked with peace symbol scattered all over.

The generation who knows no word
communicates with finger tips, why do they leave
so many fingerprints? though no one asks for evidence.
When, they are arrested for some minor offense, and as cop's
search progresses, there where counterfeit money,
marijuana and antisocial manifesto scrawled with
a cobra’s fang, falls out from their pockets.

The generation that goes before the word
enjoys material abundance that previous generations
bestowed after they underwent
all kinds of hardship to attain.

They jump, hop and run to and fro to the field of abundance
scattering their tattoos and fluttering their hair.
Their words are an ugly monstrous beast’s bawl,
they gratify their lusts with the words of blasphemy
they shout to demolish the God promised tomorrow,
they rejoice.

Premium Member Prayer

Everyone pray for our son-in-law, Doris' husband.
They have just taken him to the hospital.
We don't know what the diagnosis is right now.
He was sick all night with an upset stomach
His son took him to the clinic north of town this morning.
He passed out on them, and they said they thought they was seeing blood.
We should know more soon.
