The Uninvited Stranger

Another tirade of drunken anger
Brought to life by the uninvited Stranger
I lay trembling, still, ever so quiet
In a corner, hidden beneath a blanket
Biting down hard on bleeding lips
I knew it wasn't to be over yet

The blistering sting whipped our skin
A silence of screams heard only within
Upon our flesh of scarlet welts
Carved by the Stranger's thin leather belt

Cold cloudy skies, a mother's black eyes
No friends allowed in while we'd panic and run
He stumbled and cursed, threatening to get his gun

To live with the Stranger's drunken rage
Was like living in hell while trapped in a cage

The Uninvited Guest

2009 and the expenses scandal
Made Gordon Brown, the Prime Minister, lament
So John Bercow, was appointed new ‘Speaker’
To be ‘The Commons’ new broom, was his intent

But he was faced, with an unlikely challenge
In his efforts to clean up ‘the house’
For running loose, in his official residence
Was a small, grey, furry, wily mouse

‘The Speaker’s’ efforts to entrap his visitor
All failed, with equal measure
So Sally, his wife, used her ‘Twitter’ account
To seek help on catching the creature

“Eeek, we have a mouse!” she did post
“And under the dish washer it’s run,
It’s Sunday, and the ‘mouse-catcher’s’ day off
Can someone tell me – what can be done?”

“My husband’s been ever so manly
But all of his efforts have failed,
Please can someone come up with a plan
To put this small rodent in jail?”

Suggestions came from near and far,
But all of them failed to succeed
The mouse still evaded the Bercow’s grasp
This led Labour MP, Gordon Prentice, to plead

To ‘The Commons’, “Why not have a resident cat
To rid ‘The House’ of the mouse population?”
But the members said, “No – that’s inhumane
We prefer control over eradication

This ‘House’ has stood for centuries, and,
There’s always been a problem with mice
But to bring in a cat, to kill them all
Well, the voters wouldn’t consider that, nice!

That’s why Parliament employs the ‘mouse-catcher’
To monitor and control the pests
So, until he can catch the Bercow’s mouse,
They’ll just have to live with their uninvited guest!”

Death
                                                            whispered
                                                            Lustrously
                                                      Now you are mine
Why to take me now cause I am just Nine
I have years to live and still want to shine
                                                       Never touch me
                                                            Callously
                                                            Heart still
                                                                Beats
                                                                  But
                                                           Your blood
                                                               Invited
                                                       My cancer cells
Soul alone exists your body is pledged

Unwarranted Uninvited Party Pooper Dinner Guest

And here tonight I assumed

This would be just another one
of those average dinner parties

With a stream of boring associates and
their plus 1 partner or other

But wow
Hey you
Are so different from all the other's

Why I am so glad I bumped into you
and for you taking your time to introduce
yourself and engage with me in
conversation

Bacause you are so
Insightful
Engaging
Witty
Knowledgeable
&
Informative

I am so glad you came
Where have you been my entire life
I'll have to take your number down

So you can tell me so much more
about how I can be a better person and
how I could live a more fulfilled existence

And also again please as I am sure
you will begin by reminding me about
all of the charitable works you do and
endless causes you deficate your
spare time to

Because I especially loved and was
interested in your story about how
you have come up with a plan to
tackle climate change

Because I myself unlike you who is an
actual firm true believer in God and do
believe

I so to do also believe nature is beyond the
realms and out of humanities control
and remit

So once again may I say thank you for
coming and the pleasure of your company
and forthright opinion

As who on earth wouldn't thoroughly
love having welcoming you a guest
into our home

Having to spend a night for fear being
thought of as inhospitable lacking
manners and appearing rude

Wouldn't then enjoy appreciate and want
to to be lectured to about and have
pointed out all the countless thing's
they are going and doing wrong

By all accounts no 1 else but
 themselves has anything good
 to say about

And never actually got or anyone
invited in the 1st place and the only
reason they are here is because

They have no qualms Inviting themselves
as do they have expressing and imposing
their own personal uninvited opinion on
other's

And did they also forget to mention they
are also vegan meat is murder rude
to serve and eat in the presence of them

Smoke kill's and and if you want to do
it kindly go outside

And do you know just how much damage
Alcohol causes then peel off random
statistics

So many fun facts

Early this morning, I found, much to my chagrin,
the flowers in my garden were as if they’d never been.

Bitten off above the soil, green stubs left aground.
Mad enough to spit nails, I fussed and stomped around.

It was easy to discover who the culprits were.
They left telling evidence indented in the dirt there.

Their hoof prints tracked all around the flowerbed;
no blossoms for my soul today, food in their stomachs instead.

Uninvited Loss

You were out shoveling snow
Exhausted you lay down for a rest
Heart was exerted too much
You had no idea that the end was near

You were healthy and robust
Never heeded heard warnings
I hope you felt no pain
As you drew your last breath

News of your death came
Massive heart attack in your sleep
Denial and shock registered first
Anguish and sorrow followed

Unbearable pain, heart shattered
Scalding tears, immense grief
Unwelcome change, life altered forever
A daughter left without her dad

An Uninvited Guest

Sorrow falls through weary walls-
As uninvited feelings mix...
When Complication comes to call
(Brings with it Woe that can't be fixed!)
I will strain to entertain
What Fate the Gods bestow
For I cannot live without the pain
That's buried deep within my Soul

Loneliness came to me again

The Uninvited

The uninvited
laid its heart down
in the middle of my hand
in the shape
of a tumor

The uninvited
radiated
through my palm,
a dark & sullen presence

The uninvited
settled in to
stay a while,
sit a spell,
make itself to home,
perhaps
start a family

~~

The uninvited
was radiated
(right-back-at-ya!)
and invited to
leave the premises,
get out, depart,

be gone

The uninvited
changed form,
from heart to butterfly
with frozen, solid wings
& lay gasping in my hand

The uninvited
shrank from the radiance,
shed its masquerade
& disappeared,
a vampire in the light

Uninvited Visitor, For Me

It felt so…. very, very good (oooo… squirming my body, left to right)
You know when ones’ forehead is knitted?
It’s that kind of good... Very good.

The cool of the cotton sheets, over my leg, feet,
I’m spread out like an eagle, as I go into a spiritual ******
Gripping pillows and smelling fresh clean scents sheets.

A body then places its weight on me,
 It’s heavy
Like a healthy strong man well in control of me.
Gliding his fingers in with mine, then gripping them tightly...
His breathing becomes harder, along with mine
 We are now intertwined ….

He is familiar, maybe he is early and wanted to surprise me,
But I can’t see him, he is so heavy on top of me...
It does not matter, this moment is full of climax!
 Of high strong sexual energies,
Like a burst of huge fireworks and the cry of a violin…

I don’t want this to end…please don’t think...
I’m thinking it’s him, how else would one get in this house
He goes on and smells my neck
 Passionately we felt

I reach my hands for his soft thick hair.
Could it be? Then my eye blaze in fear!
This is a stranger, how did he get in here! Is it too late now for me?
He smells once more, I’m perfumed in coconut musk all over my neck
the voice then whispers and say: “this is the norm here”

I rolled over, as I could not fathom why he was talking in dark sarcasm
it was not who I had expect or what I had expected.
It moved from between my legs and sadly left
I never want to feel that way again, the heated passion followed by a dead confusion

yes human was its form, but it was not human at all…

Uninvited Guest

While resting in the Florida room
A bug stopped by to puzzle me
Uninvited, nasty and un-groomed
My property is hermetically sealed
Germs and dirt are the enemy
Insects are strictly forbidden
This invasion makes me twitch
I sprits it with a water device, (Not to kill)
That would be unkind
It struggled on the floor, a small black form
Apparently uncomfortable with the water cure
Contorted with six legs writhing in circles
Antennae pushing off the liquid spray
Another creature with two additional legs
Came up from God knows where
Killed the insect instantly, dragged it off as planned
I have always had respect for insects
Their abilities to survive is astonishing
Perhaps if it had wings and could fly
The bug might survive
Trespass would have been the only crime
Sooner or later it would end up in some web I guess
Wings fit nicely there for such pest
Eight legged creatures seem to have a better edge
Over ones with only six and the uninvited guest

Premium Member A Gardeners Invited and Uninvited Guests

I’ve a garden full of uninvited guests; time to weed.

Tobacco worm, on my tomato plant, don’t spit at me;
you were not invited to partake of my produce!

Mr. Milkweed, why do you love my yard? Your sticky secretions make me itch; I do not want you in my cabbage.

Mr. Beetle, I gave no permission for your party; your rowdy friends must go. They won’t allow my beans to grow.

Ms. Wood betony, you may stay; your nutty flavor and fresh dandelion leaves, will enhance my garden salad. It was nice of you to drop by for lunch.

Ah, a lovely dog rose; how did you know that other uninvited guests,
were giving me a headache? I’ll harvest your medicinal berries to cure it.
You too, may stay; oh, how I love rose hip tea.

With uninvited guests, you can’t be too careful or too picky. Some are good, others bad; but I will not…be spat at, without retaliation!

Here, Mr. Coopers hawk, have a tobacco worm and leave those bunnies alone! I plant extra lettuce and carrots for them.
