Best Unfettered Poems
Beneath the lasting hours of nightfall within our private dwelling;
naked feet waltz about the harmonized
silk petals eleven steps
onward to that of
the flat-bottom
vessel.
Unclothed,
laying
in the
clear
crystal foam
accompanied
by shadows
of flickering
scented
flames
and two
wine glasses
teem with Champagne.
The temperature arouses
both temples, allowing entry for torrid love.
Precipitating...Evaporating indiscriminately...Sigh...Our hearts now set to rest.

Sometimes, there is, between the lines,
a silence, that trembles with unspoken goodbyes
Expectant and charged, like a theater scene,
in the moments before the curtains rise.
In the dream that I'm in, I am southward bound,
so I assume it is autumn
And it resounds through the changing season
with the words never said, things never did
and with more forgiveness, and threads
of reason and understanding
....
Debris fills the gutters, and shades are drawn
Wild thorn-berries have been picked,
Trees are barren, naked, without a sound
Grief is thick, from the fog that was a cloud
And through limbs of questions never asked,
each branch has stretched with some neglect
and light of sun, still filters through
holding deep regret
Leaves are adrift, as if disturbed,
littering a speachless sky
Unfettered words we never cried
clamor up against the sky
still pleading to be heard.
Leaves are crushed and swept away,
by a bridled hesitation.
No summer arias have ever been sung,
and words to say have disappeared.
Vaporized and turned to dust
Sunlight dims, and I am thrust
into the void of too many wasted years

Fly
leave life’s
unbound web.
Let tatters stream
upon time's wind rise.
Bring sustenance to grow
with wanderers wonder ride.
Upon wind, water, fire or earth
remove the shell, pod, the placenta
rebirth upon the graves of fettered time.

Etheree
Lately, perhaps due to aging,
I find myself thinking about
past pleasures;
the little things I'd all but forgotten.
Like my first walk in the woods,
and the feeling of being one with Nature,
unshackled from the hands of time.
Nature nurtured my curiosity,
before innocence was lost.
In my youth, I was oblivious to the truth;
feeling my way through a minefield of lies.
Every day was like an ongoing epic,
a continuous adventure, filled with wonder and play.
Once in a while, as I chase dreams through sleep,
I find myself perusing memories,
recalling a smile or a tear; usually both,
often simultaneously.
And I ponder on the fact that in my
isolated imaginary world,
I once lived unfettered and free.
And marvel that I spent the rest of my life
trying to recapture a feeling;
that I will never feel again.

Unfettered and Free
Unfettered and free,
Seeking my ultimate destiny,
Flying through a dark, cobalt blue sky,
Like an extra light kite,
Effortlessly taking flight,
With strong wings, like a sleek bird I soar.
Friendly, gentle winds propelling me to greater heights,
Up, up, up -
High above big, billowy, cotton ball clouds,
Higher, higher, higher -
Rising into the atmosphere,
Gliding through the troposphere,
Reaching for the stratosphere,
Shooting like Halley’s Comet through the mesosphere,
Catapulting into the thermosphere,
Then with extraordinary speed, like a rocket I exit the exosphere.
Breaking free -
Not even gravity has the power to pull me down.
No longer a victim of Earth’s self-imposed boundaries,
Nothing can stop me now –
As a child of the universe,
I’m valiantly venturing into the unknown,
To the mysterious stars where I belong,
To infinity and beyond -
Unfettered and free!

PASSION UNFETTERED
There is a force within a few that stands aloof,
Jealously gazing at the eyes of lovers brimming with expectation,
But something stays frozen-- in disjointed time,
Afraid if the precocity of love is brilliantly returned.
The truly beloved err,
Like a force of nature
the sweetness will be drained from the soul,
Leaving a husk
Withering
Never to be regenerated.
If this tale of passion is true
We are helpless toys of
a fickle god….
Who garners
passing amusement orchestrating loss.
If the action of love proves untrue,
The Lovers are simply actors .
Mouthing empty lines,
Doomed are all to eternal isolation.
Warily venture.
the Blundering Hopeful
Spiral dizzily from elation,
Soul Splayed --
Adhered naked to the sullen earth
Held by invisible stakes of humiliation and discontent.
Alert for independent action
Survivors swathed in stealth
Endure silent screaming nights--
Appear Sleepless and Vacant.
(but in truth, they are in constant vigilance—)
Seeking the moment when a slash in time
Will offer unknown hope
Unfettered
Escape
At last--
And free to fly

Our poetry...
A thousand times been read
Syllables contort tumbling
Under covers
Free verse unfettered
Beneath hot breath
Brail symbolic softens
As soon as alabaster wets
Lips’ reciting merely, what is
Or should be heartfelt said
Our poetry...
Sapidus is to taste
Licking walls
As licorice moisten
Is the dark, chocolate
Bar shadows cast
Through blinds
And legs of sunrise slats
Or perhaps, metaphor
Marinating passion’s hands
Our poetry...
Evermore in verse
Italic are the directions
Of sentimental waves
Strewn linen’s cryptic
Unmetered cursive
And letter lorn lavender
Stylish fashioned lace
Hence forth on and on
Withdrawn from structure punctuates
Our poetry...
Stanza’s line by line alive
Moves the throb muscle and tis’ heart
Further as the ballerina saut-de-chat
Etching out pass sweet
Tip brushed Dominican eyes
The mind is running after what
Shall merely be defined…as
Poetry reiteratively serendipitous
Clever as a serpentine

Romanticism
Unfettered she arose my consciousness
Desirable alluring petal
Lone rose from the dirt pile
Beautiful African luscious eve
Killing me with each sway
Swooning me with every pose.
I desired her.
The prize whom all men kill and war for.
My pricey win.
The animal in me yearned,
Hence, i went chasing and I got lucky
Fortunate Adonis in heat.
My presence rooted her to the spot,
I led her up the stairs with my eyes
we made contact and we kissed.
Deeply but briefly.
We soared into a rapture of bliss and heaven.
I was trapped in rigmarole of perpetual pleasures.
Then she pushed back but clung to me
Exhilarated, she gasped in torrents.
She was red, I was hot
Boomeranged Frisbee, she fell back
And I locked her in my embrace
Stroking and caressing while she moaned and groaned.
Her hips parted, and my quest started
She surrendered her fruit for the plucking,
She deemed me worthy
With each thrust, renewed trust.
I filled her with that which she knew not
I filled her with rich warmth from within me.
And she came alive.
And we both reveled for we were full.
My unfettered endowed petite
And she stared into my eyes, into my soul,
And we shared an understanding,
Contentment.
Flustered alike, we lay in a heap
And she whispered feebly,
‘thank you’.

“Like free roaming stallions - my liberated dreams.”
Apprehensive, I lay my weary head
on the pillow of each long and restless night
embittered by pursual of revenge
till forgiveness came and spurred my demons’ flight.

Verse
"Jesus, Jesus there is just something about that name"*
Jesus
He is my friend and shephard
His great love has unfettered
Chains, I'm free
Now as if "devil never even lived"
Jesus' great love has unfettered chains
My life has been bettered
"Difficulties in life are intended to make us better, not bitter"*
In this wonderful country of USA
"Thanking" God, "understanding" his love, "granting" forgiveness, "enchanting" is his name, Jesus I'm "chanting"
For Jesus is my friend
And there Is "Something About That Name"*
Emmanuel, Christ, Good Shephard, King of Kings
Lamb, Messiah, Redeemer, Savior
Jesus, Redeemer
When I look upon His Face and see those loving eyes, happy my heart will be
For my heart now runs on empty
Sometimes feeling condemned,now let
There be today "something in clouds anew"*

Lyric
Soft moonlight streams through the window
and in its pale, golden glow
faint sweat sheen glistens on pink, flushed skin
speaking of love’s pleasurable exertions recently ended.
Fingertips trace the contours of legs, hips and breasts
feeling the slight twitches of small muscles
still not settled from over-stimulation.
Each breath drawn is like inhaling fire
but its warmth feels cool on heated flesh
as two bodies snuggle close,
hearts beating a sensual counterpoint,
afraid of breaking the connection
holding two spirits so closely together.
Then lips meet lips in a tender kiss
and two meld into one once more to greet the sunrise
in the most primitive and intense
celebration of life.

Beware Thee The Unsavory, Unfettered Throngs
When distant mystery has curdled the blue sky
The old hag cursed the earth and the skirt of rain
Dance girls danced lively, the others did not try
There was far too much heavy words and abject pain
From the outskirts there was much cold, cued applause
Over desert ocean, he vultures await meals
And the heroes celebrated their minor pause
As the banker cries for more yellow gold to steal
The beaded storm its wings flap with laughing anger
And Greek Gods had a party to stamp their gold seal
In the distant mountains, awaited grave danger
The Raven's rascals held out for a better deal.
Beware thee the unsavory, unfettered throngs.
For darkness lies within their old romantic songs.

Sonnet
Plucked flower once clumsily graced a girls curls,
Now crushed in the wake of her ascending swirls,
Comfort be gone as bees holds dust for another,
Swarms of butterfly's doth aimlessly hover,
Yes, it was a bothersome thing,
It will pass for others to bring,
Drizzling fate from silvery clouds of one-liners,
Trickling o'er laughing grass, chuckles from flowers,
Smiles grew everywhere, a forest was chanting,
Far grays thunderous silence mid dull strikes of lightning,
Whilst a cheery red robin sits on a limb,
Gave me a tune and tweeted a hymn,
A rainbow arc set adrift in motionless skies,
Half of that lost in obscure disguise,
A moth sits on my clothes, drawn as if it was light,
Does not budge when shaken, not even a strike,
Eyes on me, as they interpret their assessment and define,
Requires close touches, made speechless, 'twas divine,
Teardrops from elated eyes as fetuses of euphoria,
Forms and slides on cheeks fleeted journey of my utopia,
Breeze stems the short blades that grips the weight of me,
As enmeshed toes wraps in taller swords from cool earth neath, be,
Wanton for more goes unclaimed and was ignored,
Droplets adds, from a few to a downpour, engorged,
Clone the day, immerse it well into aspirations hold, free it back to where fantasy's exist, except the one,
Unfettered I chased myself homeward, drenched yet fulfilled for having lived this day regardless, except the one.

Pastoral
Once again my thoughts run wild
Against the currents of commonality
Free and unfettered like a child
Ranging from bizarre to banality
Trying my best to cling to normality.
