"Come lovely and soothing death, undulate round the world,
serenely arriving, arriving. In the day, in the night, to all,
to each, sooner or later, delicate death."
                                                                  _Walt Whitman

On gossamer wings my life floats into my mind,
cloudy shadows vague, puzzling and perplexing;
it seems my life has been more like opaque chapters,
sometimes the darkness, is fogbound and murky.

Yet, some unfathomable reverie brings me sweetness,
clouded in dimness, blurred and hazy and beautiful;
I linger in my reverie, in the mystifying mist of time,
and when it clears, I am left weeping with the love.

My life from birth to death is a book closing forever,
and my reverie will soon be opaque on the pages;
not penetrating the light again and non transmitting,
for I will be gone and all that I was will be obscure.

The Unfathomable Depth

The lunar orb has shed its mystery,
The Martian tract is now the goal of man,
No more distance is a word of glory
And no more is space beyond human ken.

Yet the chasm between man and man
Grows with every gust and every breath,
Down and down the solitary den
Man sinks and builds his lonely nest.

Man has fathomed the earthly planes,
Man has scanned the the atomic lanes,
Nature has he tied to his own needs,
He can boast of unlimited deeds.

Yet man is to himself a mystery,
His own heart is a boundless sea,
Where conflicting waves rest and roll
And reflects the the light of the soul.

His soul is an unfathomable depth,
Where neither winds nor tempests ever blow,
His soul is of such an immense breadth
That no learned bard can ever know.

If Grace is an ocean
And we're all sinking
How unfathomable
Is that amazing grace.

F R E E D O M
finite minds cannot fathom
flows through faith
fearlessly, yet jubilantly following
footsteps of the Lord, omnipotent truth-Fortress
Foundation anchoring liberty-frame
fostering compassionate living against falsehood’s flattery…

Fruitful in fidelity’s furtherance
flawless freedom’s fullness
fixed and offered by heavenly Father
fuels forgiveness
facilitates reconciliation with foes
fastens families and friends
forbearing one another in fellowship feasting…

Flourishing in God’s favour
faultless freedom
forsakes feigning foolishness
framed upon feebleness
forgets frustration-falls
forbids anxious fretting
fenced inside love’s fulfillment…

Fervently facing fleshly filthiness by divine force
freed soul from hell’s fury flames
fixes flight with spiritual fortitude
fighting failures as triumphant servant-finisher~~~
first thanking Christ’s sacrifice, excellently foremost
furnishing assured eternal freedom
finally to reign midst peace, joy, charity… forever.

* Unfathomable

After lifting the fingerprints of bloodbath
a bushfire starts, engulfing contradictions,
the gulf between erosion of truth and
survivors appears widening. Tiny ants smell

blood, exfoliation begins, from
nameless earth for the exodus of barefoot,
the epic of tragedy, something in the debris is left
for acetic reminder, a death reunion.

The pain starts the saddest saga of human
suffering, a salt lake melting in each eye and then in
every courtroom the defence for the crimes, bail -
out by the buried dark sniffing of fecundity.

The night wraps me, the land of my birth
haunts in its greenness, the wounded sea bids
refugees to hostile shores, a cracked sun
welcomes the lost umbical cords.

Unfathomable

As the sun makes its descent down the ocean line,

The sky turns peach,

And the sweetness of your smell makes me flutter towards you like a bee,

As I drift among the white sand,

The ocean waves reach for you,

And try to take you away,

The crustaceans shine their best for you,

And the sea stars light your ground,

As the stars begin to sparkle in the sky,

An unfathomable beauty unfolds,

And all I can offer you is a place beneath my wing.

Unfathomable Depths

Into the heart of the abyss I drown my thoughts.
Into the fog and cold they wander aimlessly,
lurking into the vastness of unfathomable depths.

I see the intensity of your pain
wrought from the deeds of men like me
hounded by sin, covered in shame.

I see you suffer immensely
not by the lashings that rip off your flesh
But by my faults that pain you greatly.

I see you stumble bearing that wooden beam
the wrongs of men weigh heavily upon you
as you struggle up to fulfill the fate you’ve seen

Trudging slowly, painstaking step after step
driven by the heartbeat of men,
their chorus of lies, the troubles they beget

I see you shudder as jagged nails pierce your hands
the way we thrust a sword into another man’s heart
with rage and hate as they fall where they stand

Upon your cross you chose to forgive me
even in the face of death, you still cared
You truly love me, unconditionally.

My soul I lift unto the light of a dove
Into forgiveness and peace I am sheltered
Saved by the vast and unfathomable depths of your love.

Premium Member Unfathomable Space

The sky is bluer than my true love’s eyes
Deeper than the ocean’s mysteries --
Blotting out the stars that twinkle at night,
Fuels all my most elaborate fantasies.
What lies within the unfathomable space?
Could it be interminable infinities? --
Perhaps, lying beyond eons of darkness
The abode of my imagined divinities.
Ah, the depths of my true love’s thoughts
If I had millions of years to fondly explore
And could know the hidden truths therein,
I should not be satisfied, only wanting more.

For who among us would shout:
                                              … “KILL THE CHILDREN”?

An Unfathomable Fortune

Dust hugged a vague object
That lay deep inside my closet
I shivered as I touched the box's cover
Unaware what I’m about to discover

Gently I placed it on my laps
Suddenly, a bird’s wings flapped
As it was freed from within
It wasn’t a unique bird coming from Berlin
But, the memory that burst deep inside

Opening the box was so memorable
For childhood crept into my fingers cradle
Flashbacks pierced my mind
As they flipped so quickly making me blind

The box’s belongings slowly opened their eyes
As light entered gracefully into their thighs
A marble switched on its engine
Beginning to role again

Beneath it was a paper with words scribbled
Indicating the friend that provided
Me with this lovely structure
Accompanying it with a soft texture
Red, Blue, and Yellow were the three streaks’ colors
Designing its interior

I held it in my hand observing it with punctuality
Realizing the string that held me so closely
To the moments I shared with its donor
For I knew my friend for a year
Due to her leave to another country

Even though it is a simple marble many could have
Yet, it is a mark that held a memory that was saved
Whenever I hold it in my hand
In fact, it is a treasure I shall never strand
For it held a friendship once shared
Between a child and her friend
With three streaks resembling three important factors;
Friendship, Memories, and Love shared with an acquaintance...

Unworthy am I, yet God loves me well
His compassions fail not; that I can tell
Enabling me to place my trust in Christ*
Fortress of my soul; in Him, I’m sufficed.

Undeserving, but I’m endowed with grace
Made possible by the Lord’s mercy-brace
Offering to me His fellowship sweet
Marked by pardon of wondrous kindness’ treat.

Unchained from sin-bondage of woeful pain
Granted by the Saviour along faith-gain
Freeing me from damnation caused by guilt
And ushered to blessed hope truth has built.

Unfailing Word of Almighty prevails
Since His great omnipotence never fails
Assuring me eternal life as gift
While ensuring transformation uplift.

Unfathomable is goodness divine
So wondrously awesome is the design
Letting me thank the Creator with bliss
Serving Him through others I should not miss.

“And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.” 1Timothy 1:14 of the King James Bible

Kiss me as you’d kiss a baby,
softly to show your love.
Touch me gently,
as you would someone hurt and afraid.

Hug me and hold me tightly,
that I might feel secure and protected.
Smile at me and laugh with me,
so I can see your joy and inner peace.

These are the things that sooth my soul,
inviting me to join you in a loving relationship.
These are the traits that will open my heart,
allowing love to flow freely.

Agree with me that we each have the right to be authentic,
and we’ll be free to be the best we can be.
Now two shall be one as passion is unshackled,
we shall frolic in unfathomable love.
