Unfathomable Space

The sky is bluer than my true love’s eyes Deeper than the ocean’s mysteries -- Blotting out the stars that twinkle at night, Fuels all my most elaborate fantasies. What lies within the unfathomable space? Could it be interminable infinities? -- Perhaps, lying beyond eons of darkness The abode of my imagined divinities. Ah, the depths of my true love’s thoughts If I had millions of years to fondly explore And could know the hidden truths therein, I should not be satisfied, only wanting more.

I have painted a girl in your painting with the BLUEST eyes imaginable, hoping that Deb had blue eyes! Wow! God is great!

Yes. Deb was a blue-eyed blond, but in later years she dyed her hair red because she always wanted to be a redhead. So, I told her go for it. She was so happy with her red hair.

Thanks, gw. You got it. That's the $64 Gazillion dollar question. One person noted I didn't use "deities," but rather "divinities." This may be the most thought-provoking poem I've ever written. Wasn't that the show that was proven fraudulent?

Thanks so much, Marco. Another reader made me think that I probably ventured too far afield. Who knows?
