Dearest Miscellaneous

To be seen in darkness is all I ask of this lifetime. You are it, my darling - I'm hopelessly in love! You occupy my thoughts on those rare moments I engage with the universe, catching me unawares by a first word of...

It seems dark, though daisies are open
I still see in colour, so I cannot be broken
Smears and smudges all left a mark
Though daisies are open, it seems dark

Held in embrace, are those people so close
I'm lost looking for light, far too engrossed
When the mist...

"a dagger of pain, a tear of grief" ~ by Constance La France

Only once I looked into her pale, weak face.
In white hospital sheets, she lay motionless,
A bag of bones! Her chest heaving high and low
In her eyes, a well of unarticulated pain

How could I...

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Midnight Rendezvous
To one who lies awake across
the watches of the night
subsumed by just the soft cocoon of thought,
I am the whispering walls that
stubbornly invade your mind again--
surrounding it
with unarticulated hope again,
provoking it with dialogue
that will not ever rest.

Their "why" pervades subconsciousness,
it seeks, and then repeats
both question...

Sprit Post Mortem
What was this unarticulated joy
that beat inside my chest?
That which was expected and is past
reflected numens chanting to my spirit,
as if subdivided in my superconsciousness,
I may not bear them as a whole
though holy they may be...
one mystery selects a lifetime as...

A Jerky Reverie
A Jerky Reverie

Where is the moon just now?
The light shining from the sun
appears, to have blotted it out.
The stark darkness of a motionless
void, where atomic debris not seen,
passes
 through it, violating solid state.
Harmonious discontent, disconcertedly
in serial fashion proceeds atonally
in a jerky reverie; weeping...

S/he wonders why
when we breathe in
our left sides
feel right mind dominant
when our rights inside
feel LeftBrain capital deviated,

Dysfunctional
disappointing
disharmonious
sad and lonely
dissonant
disturbed
unbalanced
uneased

Constipated
blocked
trumped

Stuck
obstructed
oppressed
suppressed
repressed
not fluently holistically impressed,

Pressured
disabled
disenabled
feminized
marginalized
enslaved
disempowered

Unenlightened
unarticulated
not understanding
not cooperatively experiencing
co-investing in questioning

Why we continue longing
for bicameral win/win engagement
of all our leisurely
peaceful
integral senses

And yet yearn
for vicarious
"Commercial entertainment
means not mindbody...

Premium Member The Measure of Greatness
The Measure of Greatness is lost to the world
Unacknowledged, unknown, unarticulated
By prophets, priests, and kings
And yet, the real potential exists
In each one of us
To be great

There are two kinds of people
The ones who try
In every situation
To make good, ethical, and moral decisions
For the benefit of...

Premium Member The Cardinal and the Rose
Vigorous, vivid, bewildering, bright songsters,
That could calmly enchant the cruelest of monsters;
Belonging to the flinch family of Red Birds,
Each of their utterances is sweet poetic words...!

Cardinal, with a unique crest and red plumage,
His maid, a great singer, makes in woods her roomage;
No cathedral. yet, he's...

Free verse eludes, escapes
I cannot rein it in
Not free at all, in fact

Unarticulated words
    held prisoner by
    rigid structures in my mind

Too much is none at all, it seems
A canvas blank remains just that

For lack of numbers, lines, and...

sink beneath the surface every time goaded
same event distorted until colour coded
and always bedraggled and gasping for air
terrified that this is actually fair
failings cascade like works of art
brokeness perfectly playing it's part
around each hell bubble is success
ability to self rescue out of each mess
though at...

Premium Member Occupied
I jotted down a thought
but it led to a thought
So out of the blue
I'm weighed down
With unarticulated ideas
I scrubbed out the lines
That were nothing much
But the thinking created a space
That doubt moved into and occupied
So now I'm in the zone...

Premium Member Seduction's Loss
I feel like I lost you yesterday.

Perhaps I overstepped
Some as-yet unestablished boundary
between Trust
and MisTrust

Between winning cooperation
and losing fear and anger
competing trepidations,

Like we tripped
over a fuzzy
dis-establishing line,
Unarticulated landmine
I am still not explicitly aware of
where, exactly,
it lies

We lie together
and yet apart

InBetween winning Trust
cooperatively co-invested
in not not losing...

Premium Member Anxiety
I'm frightened to 'just short' of death
Frozen in unarticulated fear
Making no noise at all, looking calm
Skin crawls
Ache in my ribs like I'm waiting to breathe
Haze to vision periphery suggestive of just before fainting, but I don't
There is no obvious panic
I'd probably accept a...
