Occupied
I jotted down a thought
but it led to a thought
So out of the blue
I'm weighed down
With unarticulated ideas
I scrubbed out the lines
That were nothing much
But the thinking created a space
That doubt moved into and occupied
So now I'm in the zone of not thinking
The type of blocking that makes it feel there's a avalanche of bad thoughts
Perhaps I need to let them gently float past
As not looking at them gives them force
Then I'm momentarily distracted
And forgot I was trying not to feel bad
There's just an echo of weight on my shoulders
To be shrugged off
