Best Transparencies Poems

Symbiotic melodies . . .
Transparencies of light
Shimmering from the inner self
Levitating to moonbeams bright.

Hear the chiming bells, their rhythm
Serene with every breath inhaled.
Lie still and dwell within your heaven
Psychic mysteries unveiled.

Heal the heart, repair the soul
Release anxieties and strife . . .
Penetrate this body’s armor
Relax your shell to balance life.

Our lamb has finally flashed his mane.
Crashing through the Bush.
Into the Armageddon plane.
Tail twitching, slashing fangs.

He's going to liberate a people shrouded in our blood.
Clean up those weapons of mass destruction.
Make an oasis out of glass, an oasis theology.

That open palm has turned into a fist...on a dime...on a dollar.
Over the top of a barrel of sweet crude oil.
To prove you're not a ***** like those tea partiers think you are.

You're the lion president, feeding our enemies.
While our children go hungry.
It's been a long, hot summer.
Did you know our schools don't have air conditioning?
But I'm getting off topic....

Fruitless war
your biggest blunder...to date
leaky intelligence
trigger finger
eagle-eyed bombs
charring children
lamb to lion
on a dime
on a dollar.
Over the soul of a barrel of bittersweet crude...

Now I'm probably censored for speaking against your wishes.
I could give a $hit.
Let the truth clear your opaque transparencies...
The pinkies are laughing hysterically.
Tea party, anybody?

It is
filled with happiness,
an unusual light
as transparencies
illuminate the
drastic actions
that must
be taken
to live in
the throes
of faithfulness
as you take
steps to pester
the solid walls
of inconsistency
that form
everyday glances
into the realm
of truth
that is constructed
with the dreams
of persistence

The Soul Shatters

The soul shatters upon death. Sentience fractures into a million variables that swirl chaotically into piercing eyes that melt into the color sadness, spinning into galaxies that shrink to the size of ants and you twirl in a blender of being for eternities until finally, at long last, something sticks. Perhaps it may be as simple as a strand of hair, nonetheless all possibility spins around it, flashing contradictions of rainbow transparencies, empty solids and polka dotted space, continuing until a second hair joins the first, clutching to the nothingness and refusing to move. Soon thousands of hairs arrive and synchronize above a scalp unto a face, torso, limbs… materializing ever faster… and at once you are born. And just as the memory of your trial and error experimentation and prior life evaporate, you embrace the arms of a stranger, gazing into her eyes, hung between this world and the next… sobbing in a fit of omniscience, in awe of your hard earned shape.

The Spring Into Action

Some years back we launched a war, (WMDs) our aim
obliterated half a Country, dictator to blame
Years went by no end in sight, the battle raging on
the only one that gained a thing, capturing Sadam

4,000 plus, our bravest troops, came home as heroes gone
can't leave them unprotected, the fight continued on
Then not too many years ago, (seven comes to mind)
a new direction not well received, pull them all out blind

Let them all fend for themselves, and shrink our mighty force
sit back and watch how evil grows, just shake your head of course
New names added every year, terrorists growing strong
don't worry they're just "J V teams", they won't last very long

City after city fell, like cancer in the sands
our finest Military Leaders, relieved of their Commands
It's his way or the highway, no compromise to date
Countries now in shattered ruins, the people see their fate

We fought a battle , a just cause, not true the record shows
careful not to pick a fight, don't step on any toes
Remembering our alliances, tolerate, let them be
helped to keep the rest in check, Middle East to Tripoli

Terror spread like wind storms, throughout the middle east
those "J V" Teams have now become, "the belly of the Beast"
He picked the wrong side to destroy, and side with Arab Spring
all hell broke loose in Libya, Obama felt the sting

The Americans we lost that day, Ambassador and Team
up and coming Election sights, can't spoil Obamas dream
Secretary of State may help, ignore their pleas for aid
bury reasons they were there, as militants parade

Not the only tragedy, his Legacy will hold
never were transparencies, we see the truth unfold
Working on new History Books, keep them "tarnish free"
lot of "Firsts come with his name", and most we'll never see.....

Elusive Visions

I view today as an elusive dream,
Reminding me of tomorrow's vision.
The dreams of tomorrow appear elusive today,
But are remnants of leftover scenes of yesterdays.

Subtle visions disappear when I blink,
Await return of yesterday's dream.
Will my elusive dreams elude my view,
Or escape without a moment's notice?

In the vast space that surrounds our being,
What transparencies fill the space?
Of wanton dreams and wishes,
That clutter our minds and aspirations.

Lasso those elusive visions and dreams,
And hang-on tight to those remnants of scenes.
Don't waver or wander from those dreams,
There'll be plenty of tomorrows to spread your wings.

Yes, It Was a Goodbye

Sometimes “Goodbye”
Isn’t good at all.
Sometimes “Goodbye”
Is a relief with a sigh!

I feel no pain, no pain at all
The door doth close.
My space now in harmony
with my internal void.

My home and heart
not empty to say,
But ever grasping
for its space!

Your boredom written
across your face,
First message I send,
no reply I taste.

No tears leak out
from my gleaming eyes
My heart now, has room to grow
Whether your in it, who says so?

Learning a lot about myself
and of my basic needs
You always prove that
Love isn’t, what its cracked up to be!

I thought, I was in love with you
but you replied, I love you too.
But “in love” with me
your not I see!

We are so different
but were driven by loneliness
Until together, that loneliness
we shared.

I have no pity, nor regret
for a creature such as you.
You take what life I offered
and chewed and ate and chewed.

Your ignorance, I overlooked
but the lack of search for truth,
I cannot fathom such sheep
in the herd like you.

Now you came to know
I cannot be drained
For you dug in an empty well
in time no bottom was felt.

Another, yes, could have scratched
the surface of my very soul
finding something wondrous
not hiding far below!

I don’t know you, for
you have not known me
only remaining, our
incompatibilities!

Laugh I must,
because it’s really your loss
I’m one like no other
even though I maybe lost!

In me, you found no transparencies,
to look at loving eyes
It’s only yourself you search
and then eventually will see!

I told you of my void
the darkness that lies there
We tried a hand at love, friendship, possibly
I found its lining worthless.

No wisdom you possess
or depth of any matter,
the offerings were cheap,
my will you could not shatter.

Revolving around yourself,
your own sun and planet,
so self absorbed, the ways
so blatantly apparent!

Your foolish mind
you tried to hide behind
the obvious musical talent.
But so dry inside, no artist!

Opposites may attract
what a silly notion,
that anything could last
between the dirt and ocean!

No commonality we share
for love of art and words
mine being heaven,
yours the devils dollars!

Diphenhydrinate

The soft slow pull of the Glasgow wave,
you can feel the froth trailing beneath your legs...
Dream bubbles, ghost echoes,
white on pale shore,
I'm moving toward the shifting horizon;

Purgatory, the line where dreams live
and cross sometimes in visions. I'm straddling the line
where our vase was shaped and broken, where the old ship
sailed and gone the way of the sirens.

Yet now it is not love, but the mind that crawls-
root of all illusion. It is easy to miss truth
in sick transparencies, all character is falsity,
super-ego, philosophy on the shores of
the West,
contemplating the shore
until it no longer exists.

Stained Glass

Stained glass corpses of color
Transparencies of souls
Caught on somber stages
Cast in eternal roles

Prismatic lead framed oracles
Frozen at their tasks
Silhouettes of entities
Woven into masks

Eyes of silent spirits
Caught adrift in years
Pressed in one dimension
Chained in arc-ed spheres

If their voices now could ring
Of a choral note
Sure it would be shrill enough
To shatter all our hope

Metaphysical View

Sitting between the knees,
I am being bathed by intense anxiety
and fear of harsh light.

A canopy of doubts
confronts the dignity versus anarchy
for a watchman
who will not dare open-

the vault of truth. A fatal
ire of imagination puts him
to dire need of salvation.

Was I moving from the wrong
side of history in my zodiac
to change the drooping eyelids ?

Death opens my door for a shortwhile
and then walks away
after watching the transparencies.

•

The masks come and masks go.
Cracks do not disappear.
Either you destroy me,

or my inside will have
a singingbird,
closing the golden window.

The hardening of atereies.
Tension was rising
around the absence.

Who was the arbitrator
between dog and lamb ?
The weather was ripening black currants.

Wayward Hearts

I’m not sure if
the way we feel
has much to do with the way
the river runs.
But my transparencies
will soon be seen.
Gravity has held us down, but not back.
I’m doubtful it ever could.

Unspoken

You take my breath away as usual,
Always aware of the little unspoken words.
Unspoken thoughts.
As if you didn't know I could hear them,
Transparencies of subliminal messages.
So deep, so hard core,
I wish you could see what I what I already do!
You complete me, Just as important as peripheral vision is to sight,
you are to my soul!
Our connection is beyond all that you see,
Much more than the perfect sunset.
Giving in is never like giving up,
It is more like letting go.
Accepting all things as they are,
knowing that
They are what they are,
and that where we are is where we are supposed to be.

What Are We?

When this question arrives
with increasing and sometimes
desperate insistence..
We apparently must suffer
until we dissolve
the boundaries and continuities
of our youthful bodies..
Frightening this can be
until we discover
the joy of being
transparent
transparencies in transparence
waves in water...
