Elusive Visions

I view today as an elusive dream, Reminding me of tomorrow's vision. The dreams of tomorrow appear elusive today, But are remnants of leftover scenes of yesterdays. Subtle visions disappear when I blink, Await return of yesterday's dream. Will my elusive dreams elude my view, Or escape without a moment's notice? In the vast space that surrounds our being, What transparencies fill the space? Of wanton dreams and wishes, That clutter our minds and aspirations. Lasso those elusive visions and dreams, And hang-on tight to those remnants of scenes. Don't waver or wander from those dreams, There'll be plenty of tomorrows to spread your wings. ©2015 by Lee Christine Brownlee
